Oh man, if only it were this easy for me 😅 her parents are not really the type to welcome me as their son or to joke around during this discussion. While they like me, they are most likely going to grill me and my girlfriend said they likely won't act excited or give me a definite yes or no. I'm going to speak with her parents next week.... wish me luck

More importantly, showing them you're prepared for the responsibilities of taking care of and leading their daughters is the right step. Keep your head high!
