Can't express how much I love these videos. It's odd how comforting these feel given the context - but being in that "safe room" environment while being surrounded by danger has a way of amplifying that comforting feeling. Glad we've got someone making this kind of ambience.

It would be nice to see "Guard Post Night Shift 2.0" maybe in FPV (first person view). Dude/dudet is sitting in the chair depicted here, we see - in his/her left hand a cigarette is slowly burning and a rifle resting in his/her lap or leaning next to the table or right hand side armrest of the chair he/she is sitting in. And we also see the rain/store front windows ahead of him/her. (through his/her eyes).
NOTE: The left hand can have a tattoo, scar, watch, etc. to make it more interesting lol

Do you think youll ever do a video where the circumstances change visually as well as with the audio? Like the one where the break out is just starting and you hear distant sirens, gunshots, ect, but onscreen you start to see a small trickle of zombies, then a small stream of zombies, then a river of zombies?
Yeah, it is possible. It's just a lot of work and takes time which I often don't have 😅👍

Sargent Wheeler, stirring awake from slumber next to his wife El, stood and quietly joined them. " Anything on the scopes so far?" Wheeler asked. Atreyu sighed some as he reflected on the distance yet to cover back to starcourt. " Nothing but a few walkers and a stray dog, sir. It's like the dead are avoiding this place. Something about it gives me the creeps. Its too quiet." He replied. Will suddenly piped up as something on the night vision scope caught his eye. " Movement from the west. It looks like a vehicle, but there's no heat signature."

As I sit against the wall facing the entrance tightly holding Benelli M4 at the ready for whatever out there lurking around. Sigh, those ominous glowing Red eyes staring at me with intelligence maybe waiting for the chance of a miss step to attack. You won’t be getting me.
Radio silence from last transmission really set the change to what happening out there. I Still have nightmares of people crying for help while the background high pitch screams of flesh being ripped apart. Those Poor SOB should have listen from the start to leave that place. It was going to be overrun, even LSS decide that place was hell Zone waiting to happen.
I just need wait for daybreak, I be moving on soon. LSS camp should be the next stop. The map I found had locations mark down of abandoned LSS areas hopefully they left some supplies behind.

I think this type of video is perfect for us with trauma response lol. When you grew up not understanding why the most comfort came between bouts of sheer terror and mayhem, and then grow up and realize why, its like wow. Yeah. Let me sleep to the idea of being temporarily safe from danger as it was in childhood. Dang. Lol

That bad feeling I was having when I was at the cabin waiting. Didn't go away still don't know why I decided to stay and help. I've been standing guard listening to the radio no one hasn't called. Me to ask for help I think I'm going to stick around a couple more days then head on out of here and what's up with that damn zombie.Why am i having a bad feeling it's the same one.

(They had no intentions of staying, nor did they have any reason to help these people, but the brothers spent the night doing the guard shift for the people that used this building as their "base", safe from the infected...of course, they were ready to face off against Clickers, Bloaters, even Bruisers and Screamers...but the younger brother faced his GREATEST challenge yet...boredom.)

Well, there it was.. There was that one zed I knew I didn't want to see.. Natalie.. When I left for ukraine she said she understood..in my own excitement I never truly saw it in her eyes.. The sadness..id thrown it all away.. It wasn't until I was freezing in a wet trench in bakhmut that I'd realised it.. I'd broken the heart of the one woman who cared.. Here I am my turn on the glass... I'm peering through it.. Then I see the hair.. The blonde and black hair.. Half and half left and right.. My heart races in confliction.. Fear of what I have to do and calm of what I need to do to get it done.. I'm afraid of.. Well I'm not sure... My hearts just sinking at this point... Suddenly I remember him, a young Russian casual as you'd like, rummaging through an old defunct op, could see him fairly clearly.. A slight smile as he stared at the few tins of food he found, I squeezed slow focusing on his head, we had been trained not to.. But I didn't want to risk the boys suffering, I squeeze a tad bit more,... "bang" the black and blonde hair flies wildly like the wind... Like the Russian boys helmet.. I greive heavily on the inside, "hey man! What was it are you OK?" I jump out of my skin as the voice calls up from the rest area, "yeah, just a zed".... Just a zed I think... No.. She was the reason I hung on.. I quietly wipe tears away, do I plunge my hand into a barrel of thorns to find somthing else to keep me alive? I better put this damned diary down and get back on the glass...

Day 3: They’ve broken through the outer perimeter! They have taken the courtyard and the infirmary. I’ve managed to get some of the women and kids to safety.
Day 5: Our radios are dead. Me and few others have barricade ourselves in the old hospital… but i don’t if we hold them for long. We’re out of pipe bombs and thermite. We got should have enough ammo though until rescue arrives
Screams… moans… I can hear them in the dark! He gotta find an escape route soon!
Day 8: We still cannot get out. We tried tunneling into the sewers, but we heard something missing in the darkness… that idea’s dead. I can hear them clawing at the doors and windows. I don’t know how long they’ll hold”
Day 13: OH MY GOD They don’t stop coming! Theirs numbers are growing! We cannot get out! Kids are hungry and won’t stop crying. I don’t know what to do.”
Day 21: They finally broke thru the main door! The lobby and first floor is over run! We’ve got the man doors and elevator shafts locked down.. they can’t reach us for now. I can hear those we forgot screaming for help and cursing my name. I was too scared to help them …I’m going to hell for sure.
Day 34: oh god I’m so hungry, we just ate the last of our rations yesterday. Only have one magazine of ammo left, we’ve been drinking rain water but half the kids are dead from starvation. I caught one of the half-crazy ladies chewing on her dead baby is arm. I just shot her in the face and threw her out the window to those monsters. Those “things” are still trying to get in…
Day 55: In know I’ll never get out of here alive. I’m gonna hide this journal in a strongbox, just do there’s a kind of record of what happened. I’m all that’s left. The lone survivor. I have a gallon of alcohol and a road flare. If you’re reading this… then my plan worked and you’re standing on a plus of ash that was the hospital.
I hope I killed enough of “them”. Goodbye to whomsoever reading this… forgive me
