I just recently received the same watch and it may be one of the best GMTs in my collection. For the price-point it is hard to beat. And, I love the green bezel and dial. It looks amazing.

Great review of a great watch. At first I thought it seemed a little expensive but with the gmt pushers, chronometer grade movement and excellent lume and tritium it really seems worth the money. I think Ball watches are some of the best kept secrets in watches. I am surprised they aren’t more popular.

I have heard mixed things about Ball’s ability to replace those tubes. It appears that replacing the tubes themselves is a bitch and so they attempt a dial swap first. The butterfly clasp is also a big negative. If I’m spending that kind of money on a watch, i should be able to get a good fit, not an “oh well” fit. On the positive side, I think it’s one of the better GMTs simple because it is a 3-timezone GMT with a day & date.

Nice review Sir. The watch is beautiful, the best colour. I also like the all blue version too, followed by the all black. In fact you could get three of these Ball GMT's with day/date to a one Rolex GMT II, and a very important point, they are available to purchase! I have subscribed!

Very nice watch, but the bezel outshines the dial lum, what about showing how the crown works? Is it a true GMT?

No, the pilot is a true GMT but the Marine is not.

Have you reviewed Deep Blue dive watches? They have the T100 tubes and overall seem like a quality watch for unbelievable price point of ~ $300 USD versus 3K for a Ball. I love the quality of the Ball however for a nice dive watch Deep Blue appears like a great option.

They did, it is their follow up True GMT Roadmaster Pilot… looks just like the Roadmaster Marine except without the day.
