- This recent release from Ball Watches has tritium tubes, a lumed ceramic bezel, and a COSC certified dual time movement. The titanium case and bracelet is water resistant to 200 meters. It is a very capable sports watch. I share my thoughts on the model in this video. What do you think?

I remember in 2020, the beginning of my watch collecting journey, that these were being advertised on Facebook a lot. Those were actually great ads as they drew me to this Marine GMT. I am glad I waited in figuring out my sizes as this is a big watch for my 6.7" wrists. I am still drawn to it with the looks. Great job Ball and hope more people can check out this awesome brand. As usual, BALL does not disappoint. Definitely like the Pilot coke version better but the marine GMT is no slouch. Glad they brushed the center links on the bracelet. Great review!

Very nice watch, thanks for the review! The green / black is beautiful with matching green second hand, the tritium tubes are something very special and it looks very solid and well executed. Coincidentially I got my Ball Engineer III Marvelight in grey just today 😀 It has fewer bells and whistles than the GMT you presented and looks much more like a dress watch. It is also very nicely executed, the bracelet is very nice, I like its protruding middle links and the substantial feel it has. Mine has no pushers and needs to be opened by pulling at the bracelet. I thought the tritium tubes would be a bit brighter on my watch, but as you said this is to be expected and it is very cool that you can read off the time at any hour during the night. Definitely not my last Ball watch.
The Marvelight is beautiful! Congratulations. I like the power reserve version and hope to get one some time over the next year or so.

Bruce I know you’re praising the AR coating but from the video it seems the crystal is reflecting everything. At one point we can clearly see the camera. Dunno about that

Great review! Both very cool! Though I like the true GMT function, I would probably go for the diver, hoping to dive again some day.
Very nice watch, I like this better than the weird Rolex left-handed GMT. 4800 amps per meter sounds like a lot but it corresponds to 60 Gauss, which is like the field at the surface of an average fridge magnet. Also the lume material is tritium, which is not the same as triatomic hydrogen. Tritium is an isotope of hydrogen with two neutrons in the nucleus (in contrast to regular hydrogen which has no neutrons), whereas triatomic hydrogen would be a molecule with three hydrogen atoms.
Is this the only, or one of very few GMT watches with day/date? I've looked around and even day/date watches are scarce. Great video! Thanks!
Rolex paid homage to the Ball since they came up with the black and green GMT bezel first 👍🏻
What was the first model of Ball with green and black bezel?
Ball in general is an older brand than Rolex.
Ball watches are so solid and so well built for the money it’s crazy . People talk about Monta or formex for value but Ball is a lot better. I have a marvel light I love it’s the best budget alternative to a date just in my opinion that exists.
I just picked up the Batman version of this too waiting for it to come in!
I also own 3 Rolex pieces so I do have perspective of how well made these are.
Is there any other GMT watch that has the day (Mon...Fri)?

Their roadmaster collection actually works very well for bigger wrists because of the male end links. Seeing this on your wrist makes me confident i can pull it off.

Tritium will take 20+ years to degrade to replacement level.

Have a preorder in for the Ball Engineer III Jetset GMT. Take a look at that in your spare time. Doesn't have the pushers (not a fan) and it's a true GMT watch. Expected in July/August this year.
I think I have seen the Batman version on pre order. It is being advertised for having a 300m water resistances. Not sure if it applies to this model too

Love the tritium tubes and company history. Dislike the lack of originality with colors copying Rolex gmt (Batman, sprite, & Pepsi). In terms of copying that color scheme, right on the ball. Technology for these gmt’s is amazing.

It's 2022. How Ball doesn't have micro adjust on the fly continues to baffle me. Formex Is able to do it at one third of the cost.

For 3k not worth it.For me I have to be happy for what I purchased at a good price and then I can enjoy wearing it,under 2k is were I have to be with Ball watches.
It's a very well made watch. You won't find that quality under $3K.
Where are you going to find a watch of this quality and specification for that money, you are dreaming?
