Ankylosing Spondylitis

An inflammatory arthritis affecting the spine and large joints.
The condition is more common among men and usually begins in early adulthood.
Symptoms typically appear in early adulthood and include reduced flexibility in the spine. This reduced flexibility eventually results in a hunched-forward posture. Pain in the back and joints is also common.
Treatment includes medication, physiotherapy and in rare cases, surgery.
Requires a medical diagnosis

Pain areas: in the ankle, eyes, heel, hip, joints, lower back, middle back, neck, or shoulder
Pain circumstances: can occur during rest
Pain types: can be arthritic
Visual: blurred vision or sensitivity to light
Eyes: inflammation of the eye's middle layer or redness
Joints: back joint dysfunction or stiffness
Also common: bone tissue formation, fatigue, hunched back, inflamed tendons, inflammatory bowel disease, physical deformity, or sleep disorder
