Wow! I had no idea you totalled your MK7 Golf R. I haven't been keeping up. The older TT-RS is nice! I like the new ones, MK3 I think. I have a Golf MK7 GTI, I love it. It's lightly modded and Makes a great daily driver. In a couple years I want a used Porsche Cayman for a second car. :D
Yah, all the sporty Golfs make perfect all-day-drivers while having reasonable track-abilities (except GTD **ggg**). I don't really like the TT MK3, would rather like to drive the MK1 but this one is not good on track. The vid of the lap in which I totalled my Golf 7 R is here btw.: ua-cam.com/video/AcLdCAMoZLM/v-deo.html You have to look in the end...
Maody66 Just saw the crash. Shit, that is scary! Glad you didn't roll over and you're okay. Looks like you were starting another lap and got airborne just a little. I have zero track experience but, would like to try someday. There is nothing like nordschleife in the USA. It must be nice and close for you. Looks like you know the track very well! :)
Yah, mate. Glad that I could prevent from rolling over. So I was completely unhurt. Not even a haematoma. On trackdays with open straight the (complete) lap begins a bit behind the point I was crashing. So I was going very fast into the shicane, coming from around 250 Km/h in the sink before the shicane. In fact it was a bit too fast. ;) There are two little bumps in that shicane that lifted my back, than I started turning.
Nope.
Hey.
Geile Runde 👍🚗 👍.

Brav! ;-)))
Hattest etwas am Auto modifiziert? Kühlung, Bremse, Software? Keine Probleme mit Wasser bzw. Öltemperatur?
