Kissing Strangers is FIRE!! 🔥🔥🔥
I completely agree! It speaks to me, but my kids think it's just alright though. 😂
Yall want the old Usher…buy his old album💯💯
Ok Jay
@user-xw4vg1vy5e who
We already own them. Usher dropped the ball. CB music sounds like it fits him.
@@maskgirlz9248 album was good imo
@@maskgirlz9248 usher album is good
The album has at least 7 to 8 good tunes on it imo
And that’s more than what most artists can say haha
Mmm more like 3 tbh
I like exactly 8 tracks from this album, Kissing Strangers, Bop, Please U, Luckiest Man, Room In A Room, One of Them Ones, Standing Next To You, and Naked.
@@davestarharris2011 you don’t like Believe????
@@MisterFoxx My bad I forgot "Believe", so that's nine tracks I rocked with
They all said they didn’t listen to it and then all have a big opinion of it after this makes no sense e
They didn’t like it so they’re saying they didn’t hear to not have to shit on his SB moment…but please believe the album was trash
Lazy journalists
The Album is great they are trash for not listening but Downing it from snippets & Joe trash 4 not listening but talking 💩
@@doubleRRking hot trash
@@doubleRRkingnot gon say that , it had some decent songs 😂😂.....
“One of them ones” is One of them ones.. you’re going to come back to this album and like it.
Usher is an independent artist now.
This album has some good songs but it’s not cohesive so it’s easy to tune out. I think Usher has matured as a performer but not necessarily musically which is disappointing.
Well said. It also seems like Usher better song lately were left on the cutting room floor.
@@kyla3635 yeah I listened again and the first half is spotty but the last 6-8 songs are good. Overall half of the album is good.
I'm really glad that you listen again. I do agree that in the beginning is a little all over the place. But I don't believe that the album is a bad album. I think he has a little something for everybody. Confessions was a certified R&B classic! It was his thriller. There will never be another. And I believe that's what everyone was expecting. Overall USHER has not lost it musically. Because prior to this album the last several years he's been putting out singles that have been bangers 💯💪🏾 I do believe though he needs to get back with the production team that he had for Confessions. JD, BRIAN MICHAEL COX, JAM & LOUIS , JUST BLAZE , ROBIN THICKE ETC. And attempt to give us another R&B classic 💯
Idc what anybody says, Usher got some bangers on the new album and once he actually starts promoting it with live performances, people are gonna catch on. Idk why people say it sounds like it’s catering to a young crowd, when this album has something for the 2000s Usher, 2010s Usher and there’s a little of 70s/80s vibes in there. I think even tho it isn’t a perfect album, it’s got a little bit of everything for everybody and after 8 years of not dropping an album. I feel like this caters to every corner of his fanbase, but some of yall want one linear thing, and I get it, but let the man cater to his whole fanbase with this one. Yall gonna rock with it soon if you don’t already.
@MisterFoxx agreed
I agree! Second half definitely has hits
They slept on BOP. Bop is 🔥🔥🔥
My fav song so far
FACTS proves they don’t know music 😂😂😂
Ok!!! Bop is a BOP lol
Factz! They’ll like this album a lil more later if production promotes
Coming Home was a solid project. It was different, lot of songs and a few different styles but a good album nonetheless.
A Town Girl featuring Latto is a hit 🔥
👍🏿👍🏿 A Town with Big Latto my favourite, samples Billy Joel’s hit song ‘Uptown Girl’
Ya its hot but not necessary shudntb on this album its not i n demand
@@salehali3372 who are you to say what's in demand? These mthrfckrs in the video don't even know whats in demand 🤣🤣🤡
Everything from her down is amazing. I think y’all tripping
Ice wearing Chris’ shoes lol and reviewing ushers bullshit project. I love it!
That’s why you can’t listen to people if I would have listen to y’all. I would have never listened. I loved 🥰 it
Exactly. People need to think for themselves. Bet money most people commenting haven’t even bothered to listen to the whole album or just listen at all.
It’s not a perfect album but it absolutely isn’t bad. I give it a B+. Listened to it about 5 times before I finally decided which songs I really fw and it’s only like 5 songs outta 20 I didn’t like. Album is solid.
Ice tweaking, the A album is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🔥🔥🔥🔥 absolutely. USHER will never release a completely trash ALBUM. There might be some that you could take or leave, But you'll always have at least half that you can rock with. 💯
I am totally with Joe regarding GLU and Bad Habits not being on the album. I was very upset by that. GLU was the best male R&B song last year.
Definitely Woulda Helped With Sale/Streaming Results.
They shouldv been on wouldv made album so much better. Glu was great but ruin the best for me that shit was fire
EXACTLY
@@OHBoy330that song didn’t even do that well to boost anything. But his sales have exceeded predictions already
Confessions & 8701 are his thriller & off the wall
I like Raymond Vs Raymond
My Way
I’d say My Way is his Off the Wall. Confessions is his Thriller
🎯
man dont disrespect MJ like that
Shoulda made it 12 songs. Woulda sounded lot better to trim it down.
Luckiest Man is 🔥
🦾🦾
I’ll say this since this has been the topic for a while. I liked 3 songs on there genuinely but it’s not touching 11:11. It sounded like Usher was tryna go for a specific sound the whole album and it wasn’t it. I think he could do the Afro beats, Ruin sounds great but yea. I’ll give the album a 5
2 things I noticed….they all said they didn’t listen to it but they all saying it sucks lol. Also, Joe the same dude that derailed his career by not evolving but blaming Usher for evolving with the time and making music with Burna boy. Logical fallacy everywhere.
Nothing about that album gives “evolved”. Had the most basic lyricism of any of his albums, cheap beats, & sounded like he was chasing a younger sound if anything
obviously they were being facetious about not hearing the album cause they revere Usher and didnt wanna criticize him and step on his moment pre superbowl. joes career didnt derail because he didnt evolve he could still be a rapper today if he wanted he just wanted better for himself, difference between evolving and chasing trends,Beyonce evolves, usher does not hes like the 45 year old in the club wearing supreme head to toe.
@@tee9827 you're entitled to your opinion but you're clearly hating on absurd lvl lol
@@shesbaldbutiwould you've to not only adopt to trend, you've to be in the forefront of it. That is what creates longitivtiy. Joe is a lyrical genius but his beat selection and shitty flow stagnated his career in comparison to his contemporaries. Supreme is a 90s brand and Usher is a 90s r&b artist, both are brand names with relevancy because they're the forefront of culture.
@@BristolBerg so what trend is usher at the forefront of? Nobody over 40 wears supreme unless they're suffering from arrested development, usher is relevant because of his back catalogue he hasn't had a hit in years
I didn't love the whole project but I have my favorites. Ruin, cold-blooded and luckiest man are my songs
Usher Album Fire
If we being honest JD was a big part of why confessions was big. He wrote and produced most of it with B cox. That’s when usher was his best and he lack something without them.
the second half of the album is where the fire is
Facts 💯💯💯
Facts
I was waiting for thisn
man y'all niggas trippin.. that album is fire, " Stone Kold Freak" fire, " Risk it all" Fire! " Room in a Room" fire! man he got heat on this album.. i think y'all done fell victim to listening to so much R&B that sounds like rap that y'all forgot what real R&B sounds like. A town girl with the billy joel sample is fire too. Y'all totally missing on this one fareal lol
Ehh idk bro, the whole majority of the album sounds like he was confused about the sound he wanted out. Personally I liked 3 songs tho
Yesss A Town Girl was lit!
idk if its a confused sound vs more of playlist style of album like most albums with 20 plus songs on them. In this age of music i like when artist give me a multitude of sounds on a project. The last thing i want is 20 songs that all sound similar lol@@camhorton531
Those plus “One of them ones”, “stone cold freak”, “life of the party” this album is 🔥
Usher topped out with the confessions album 3:37
his new album and is SO GOOD. i love “please u”, “i love u”, “kissing strangers”
Usher rushed that album to drop before the super bowl hype...He could have made that shit a mixtape 😂
FACTS!!!!!!
It was a Playlist lol
I didn't love Glu...but I did like that he was utilizing his higher register
Yea these Niggas is crazy Coming Home album is really good the 2nd half of the Album is where it is 🔥
But they say they didn't listen to it, I'm confused
The crazy part .. in todays era older artists try to “cater” to a younger audience … and they still don’t listen because they know you’re old 😂. Just make authentic music bruh
Nas in my opinion showed all of these artists that older artists can create a new sound that is hot without trying to sound like the current sound
Facts💯
I like 18 out of 20 from that album ….. best album since confessions 🤫🤫🤫
Younger audiences ain’t paying either!!!! All he needed to do was give us the music and we’d buy it
Now we see why breezy is him. When it comes to usher all they talk about is confessions which was ages ago while breezy been consistently putting hits from time to time. I think it’s not even close after this album.
Say it again for people in the back 😂 these people love talking about confessions saying Usher got a catalog after.. nigga where ?
Bruhh, USHER been HIM! Confessions was his biggest selling album. He will never top that! But he had Platinum albums prior to that. My Way, and 8701. They both sold millions.
As for Chris Brown.....he's never had a Confessions. He is consistent with great music no doubt! And he is one of the best performers to ever live! However, he has never had one single album that has reached the heights of a Confessions. And his last album 11:11 was mediocre in my opinion. And even his record sells said that Breezy was not great neither. In my opinion, you can find great songs on both of these albums, but they're not all great!
All that USHER did with this album, was give something for everybody.
What Joe, and the crew was expecting was Confessions sounding album. And I believe that's why they were truly let down. But this album definitely has some bangers 💯 And where I think the JBP dropped the ball was rushing through the songs one night prior to recording this episode. You have to take your time with R&B. And I believe that they're going to revisit it and have to eat their words. I am the party one of my favorites on the album 🔥🔥🔥🔥 And there is at least half of the album that's on point. The rest is for other genres who like the pop USHER. But he did with Chris Brown did gave the people a little bit of everything.
Another point, Chris Brown Can't sing live. When USHER steps to the stage there is no voice tracks. The mic is on. Have they ever did a live Versuz, Chris would be exposed when it comes to singing. What USHER is doing at 45 is NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING 💯💪🏾🔥
@@ReturnIILoveEntertainmentFtDjG ok ChatGPT
And when it comes to Chris what do people say? And I mean the general public? Lol because ain’t nobody talking about Chris’ music like they talk about Usher’s. Chris can put out a couple hits but he oversaturates himself by putting out too much music that it leads to less quality and more redundancy.
And on 11 11, almost all of the songs sound the same. 🙄
It ain't for everybody and sharing your opinion doesn't mess up his superbowl moment. Nobody can make me hate this album. I've been listening to it for 3 days straight. This album is dope and I love the 80s disco vibe that it's giving me.
I want Chris Brown to do his Superbowl halftime game then we can discuss who is crowned new king for their generation.
That’s not happening, y’all need to let that go. He just got a pulled invite to the NBA celebrity all star game, that lets you know where them people stand
@@Goodworkriah I just saw that but my GOD is able to change hearts maybe He's trying our faith . I believe the Superbowl will happen as a fan I believe if I ask my heavenly father he'll do what I have faith to believe him to do now basketball is not Chris Brown 's career but singing is Superbowl halftime show Chris Brown I believe will be ask to takeover 1/2025 healing energy.
They need to let Chris Brown do next year. Chris isn’t getting any younger
All this talk about r&b albums, I hope one day we can give DVSN some love man. Always putting out quality r&b music and dont get much love.
Calling it a bad CB album is spot on.
I’d call it a better CB album lol
@@MisterFoxxNah… 11:11 is a way better album than this trash
@@MINK2393 cool
It gave me more more of mixture .. like Please U and I Love U kinda gives 70s-90s
I listened to the album several times and really loved it. this album will become a classic because it has excellent songs, listen to it again one day you will see that it is more than a good album.
On the side is fire
I believe he gave the younger demographic something to bop with but ultimately he will release another album by the end of the year or beginning of next especially since this is the 20th anniversary of the confessions album.
Younger demo ain’t checking for him. Thats the problem
I hope he doesn't.wasnt feeling this album🥱🥱
Out of 20 songs there was only 3 songs I wasn't big on and I just replaced those 3 with glu and 2 other songs that wasn't on the album
8701/confessions = classics
I don’t know why he just don’t let JD and B Cox produce or executive produce most of the album. That’s when he made his best music.
Aye, Usher's "Usher" albun was the first cassette Ive ever owned as a kid. He'll always be one of the R&B GOATs to me and I always have high hopes for his albums when they're announced. But I honestly do agree with what alot was said here. I do think the albun was lackluster. I do think he tried to hard to cater to a younger sound. And I do think he strays too far from that R&B sound.
I didn't think the album was terrible. Just for all the hype, it just didn't hit that "itch" a lot of us were looking for.
Usher is amazing! But this CD was not one of his best.
CD? You didn’t stream it?
@@MayorMe😂
Can you review J lo this is me ... now on prime. Watching it and its good
I mean… He called the album “Coming Home”
Leading fans to believe it was going to be more traditional, Usher definitely dropped the ball. Although “Ruin” may end up being a classic for me
I Love You is my fav
I gotta admit, I like Ruin
Good album
We all y’all sleepin on “Bop” is killin me smh The closest thing to traditional Usher on there & nobody’s ears peeped yet smh
Y'all can't get mad because y'all expected something that he didn't say. Just because he called it that doesn't mean that's what he was going for.
I totally agree with what y’all saying I thought this album was gonna be different because it’s usher
The first couple of songs I was getting ready to turn it off it was like towards the end it got better
This sounds like a usher album
@@crisswalker349second half of the album is the strongest. But I think people keep Usher in a box too much
He got Slaps in there fasho & a Slap is a Slap don’t matter what pocket it’s in
I tried listening to it. I couldn't get through all of both discs. It was just ok. Nothing really moved me. BJ The Chicago Kid was soulful and WAY better. Why have all the artists just abandon pure Soul music?
How are these clowns "reviewing" an album they never listened to? 🤡
this is some of ushers best work.i understand what the problem Joe Budden has with the album ( assuming he listened to it or not 🤷🏿♂️) he likes a particular brand of rnb/soul live instrumentation and throwback vibes. i personally dont wanna hear that from Usher at this point in my life
i love this album for the 80s updated upbeat bobby/michael/prince vibes
Ruin is dope ❤️
I just got finished listening to the album earlier this morning. It's not a bad album. It gave R&B plus a little Pop like Chris Brown. Definitely got some Chris Brown vibes on this album. I'm from Virginia so not mad at that. Coming Home,A-Town Girl,Keep On Dancin,Risk It All,Bop&Ruin are my favorites on here! Other songs aren't bad though. Too many songs on this album for me. Don't like long albums. Give me 10-16 songs but not 20. Sixteen songs is pushing but yeah. 💓💓💓🎤🎶
Going over to Rory and Mal to get a good review of the album.
Ice… 😂😂😂
Problem is when youre used to selling 10 million records and getting number 1s its hard to just not give a f about numbers anymore and when you care about numbers itll show in your music, killer mike has never known what it is to be a platinum artist so he doesnt miss what he never had.
They saying he dropped the ball but only 1 person listened to the album lol FOH
Ruin is amazing
I havent liked an Usher album as a whole since Confessions. All his albums were pretty mediocre but always had about 5 good bops on there. This albums no different for me
Raymond vs Raymond was 🔥
Album is fire🔥
Same.
The album is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tracks: I am the party, Bop, One of them ones, Stone cold Freak, Coming Home and Good Good.
It’s not 11:11, however we don’t need to compare!!
Just don’t give out any *GENIUS* PrizePicks Joe lol
These are joes confessions 😂😂
Biggest moment of this podcast to be honest..here to know
Good episode
I don't think Usher is the only one who decide what songs would make the final cut of COMING HOME.
This is the problem with you podcasters.. Y’all don’t even LISTEN to the album in its entirety and have an opinion to the masses which will probably detour them from listening to it themselves. Hard II Love album was GREAT and so was “A” but y’all get on here bumping y’all gums about songs you haven’t even listened to yet 🙄
Who cares if GLU not on the album you can still LISTEN to the song if you to! It’s a SINGLE! 😤😤
This is literally one of his best albums
Said by no one
Agreed
😅
That’s sad asf 😂
You chattin 😂
Usher is a Icon and a legend I doubt he cares about a washed up rapper and his podcast Joe button up your shirt unlike your music career you can get that right thank you.
I Like The Album, Only Songs I Didn’t Really Care For Was BIG And Cold Blooded 💯
Yall buggin Usher proved why it ain’t no comparison between him and beeezy 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yall gotta wait on r.kelly to come out for a real rnb
For 15 year old music?
And this y’all King. Please R.Kelly is the King period.
@@learningeverdayliving111 king of little girl music. Grow up
He didn’t have to cater just do the music that fits him!!!!!
No one wants to go backwards, its about evolving. If Usher drops an album too identical to Confessions they would clown it. A 45 yo trying to be 25 again. And I'm in my 40's.
you all said you have not listen to it how can you say you don't like it make it make sense
I think y’all read too much into the Coming Home title. He’s always been big on “evolving” and trying new sounds. To expect “another Confessions-like album” is wildly unrealistic for many reasons. When you listen to it without having that expectation you’ll begin to love it for what it is. After a week of listening to it I think it’s a great album. Margiela is the only song where I think he sounded like he was trying to appeal to a younger audience so my only critic is that I could do without that song in exchange for another real R&B ballad (but not Glu). Best album since Raymond vs. Raymond IMO.
My top 10 (non-singles) in no order are ATL girl, BOP, Kissing Strangers, Stone Kold Freak, on the side, I Love You, one of them ones, Luckiest man, BIG, Coming Home.
Raymond Vs Raymond wasn’t a good album tho.
@@Immeallday according to you? It sold millions.
If we being honest Usher only had 1 “great” album. He just always had big singles on the the other ones
This album is not it for the reasons they stated. Kissing strangers & keep on dancing sound like boy band/Weekend unreleased tracks to me. Big sounded like a new artist trying to break. I love you sounded like a bad Prince reference with elementary writing, im pulling your hair cause i like you... ikyfl. Standing next to you remix doesn't hit, When you use an Angela Winbush sample, it should hit (Biggie & JayZ). It's an underwhelming album. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, please return to give us Confession 2. Maybe 9 out of the 20 will make it on the playlist for further listening.
I liked Usher’s album and I’m in my 30s and don’t like a lot of the music out now. I think you have to give the project a true sit and listen to appreciate it. It didn’t sound like he was trying to cater to the young audience at all so idk where y’all got that from lol I’ve heard people actually complaining about the opposite lol Y’all didn’t give it a real listen.
They buggin!!!! ALBUM FIRE … go listen Joe

Is he just wearing the Apple vision for fashion or what?
Y'all don't even have great taste for good music, coming home is fire very hot but y'all to dumb to notice 😂
Y’all didn’t even fully listen to the album, how are you gonna give a reaction 🤷🏻♀️I actually like what Usher did with this album, he thought of all of his fan base, there’s something for everyone, yall just don’t get it, but when you know you know period!! 🙌🏼🔥🔥🔥🙌🏼
This new usher album is great 🔥🔥 Idk what these ninjas smoking 😂
I agree it wasn't the best out of 20 songs I only listen to maybe 5 r 6 songs
