I love that the movie shows him crying. Before then, it seemed like every other movie trope of the climactic breakup before the speech that makes everything alright. But all she can say about her actions is that she is sorry, and it visibly hurts him. And all she can do is slowly regain his trust. It's such a realistic display of emotion in a movie that is not at all couched in realism. This showcases the betrayal and trauma of having the 3 people you trust most in the world go behind your back like this.

Glad JLaw did a full comedy film. I recognized her comedic abilities in 'American Hustle' and then 'Don't Look Up'. Comedy is in her wheelhouse.
I love to hate the criticism of this film.

I love how many people criticise Jennifer Lawrence's character for being strong armed by her very bad financial job situation to date this 19 year old but no one criticises him for how much as an entitled privileged af and all that off HIS PARENT'S efforts, not his own little d*** he is to her at times.

That's not true. A lot of Hollywood male stars are having babies with much younger women. I don't think Hollywood cares if much older men are with younger women. Have you seen Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino, and Leonardo DiCaprio. All those guys date much younger women.
