Sadly, you're wrong, depending on the state, and of course, depending on the liquor license. In the great state of Ohio, alcoholic beverages can be served starting at 6AM! With the exception of one day, and that would be Sunday, which usually can start serving at 11AM.

Conversations leads up to humorous ending of scene. Two women discussing selling her body to earn a vehicle. No, nothing sleazy about that. Jim keeps giving "advice" on how to make extra money, but the women are basically saying he is dumb and should be quiet as they insinuate he is pernicious.
Jim: "Oh, just 'cause I'm a guy, I can't express an opinion?"
Women: "Exactly. Yeah, shut up."
Yet, one of them is pregnant by him. A comment about his choice of tattoo is made. Yet, his pregnant wife is also covered in tattoos. His comments are not completely wrong since they are in line with the discussion at hand and he is just being propitiously funny.

It's funny because while it is just a movie, 'sometimes art imitates life and sometimes life imitates art'. 🤫 This scene literally depicts why there are so many single moms in the world today. Two people who seem to be together for an unknown reason and they have procreated, and then seperate for whatever reasons. 🙄

Having "the kid" be 19 actually makes no sense. A high school senior on his way to college would 18, not 19. Most likely the movie made him 19 to emphasize the point that "he is not underage!". Funny movie anyway.

I think the implication was that he graduated late due to his mental health issues, hence why he is older.
unless if the kid's birthday was anywhere from sept-dec, then they'd technically be a year older than the rest of their class. also there's gap years, which rich kids get to indulge in more often what with not being cast from the family's wealth.
I was 19 when I graduated. Due to a traumatic experience in a preschool setting my folks withheld me from Kindergarten for a year.
