No offense but he’s the last tuner on the planet to follow. Really…he’s not on agn anymore as he has a horrible rep there. My understanding is he jacked an impact all up and sold it to someone there. If you notice he doesn’t do airguns anymore and doesn’t seem to have any affiliation with HPA in Michigan. Really be interested in that story.
Thanks. Like I said, it took me about 3 years to wrap my head around it, Mainly because no one would explained it to me. M3 owners can be snobby. But a few tried to explain it, but I didn't get it. Finally I watched a video that explained it all. This one: ua-cam.com/video/U7eaZzQxtvs/v-deo.htmlsi=lhcOuvd-MtxXUADo&t=118
I watched that video on tuning and I was very impressed. I watched that thing like all day, and I finally absorbed and fully understand now. Say I have enough in my reg to send my heaviest ammo that I shoot comfortably the speed I want maybe even you know five or 10 ft./s faster. By then turn down the macro to the number that will send my lightest Ammo slightly either faster or slower. I haven’t decided yet. Then I go up to the macro that send my favorite Ammo the one I wanna tune the speed I want to tune it. I have to turn up the micro a clicker too because it was that close. So I have it tuned there. Well, I then go to every other macro spot that happens to fall in where the speed is maybe a couple below what I wanted so I take that ammo and now I have to turn the micro up. I had turned it down last time. I moved it up a couple click tune it there go to another Ammo that I might have to turn it back down so in other words, find each macro spot that bounces back-and-forth without Moving the micro that much from the original tune my favorite at that spot and then I’ve only gotta do slight adjustments at all the other macro spots for other Ammo do you think that would work?
I can honestly say I think Moose is one of the strongest supporters of the LGBT airgun community. It's good to see him get the credit her deserves. 🌈🌈🌈
Good stuff and I actually like the way you did it. Max HS and use the power wheel to back down to sweet spot. What you could say in the video is when you back it down (macro) to find the sweet spot. Note the micro setting at that spot. Then turn the macro to 16 and turn the micro down to that spot. Then you can fine adjust up and down a click or 2 to really hone it in.
The AEA Challenger Pro may have its issues (heavy, relatively low shot count and magazine capacity, wobbly stock, etc.), but man, do I love its Ak-ish simplicity! Plug & play, as it should be. Full power out of the box, no tuning or slug liners required.
Hello Sir, amazing video, but sill no idea about how to adjust the power, I have a fac FX impact M3 700 cc, in order to shoot 33gr pellets to clean kill rabbits at 100 yards, what setting do I need please? 🙏
Brother, could you make a video about the BBS Glock 17gen3 and Umarex recoil? I want to buy one of those but I would like to see a full video about it as well as the one you made on the Glock 19X where you shot at targets as well, I would greatly appreciate your answer.
@@AirgunChannelNo brother, it's not pellets, it's 4.5mm caliber, the glock 17 gen 3 caliber 4.5mm (.177mm) with blowback, and I would like you to also tell me which is the best option between the glock 19x vs glock 17 gen 3
Reg1 in the chart is the regulator pressure gauge reading? Whats the Reg2? It would be nice to mention "NOTICE - NEVER turn the regulator adjustment screw CLOCKWISE under pressure. This will damage the regulator and will void your warranty!"
@@AirgunChannel but how you turn reg pressure lower? It says you cant turn it lower if theres pressure in the system. Do I need to remove main tank and then turn it clockwise?
Definitely no. Never turn the reg screw in. The one by the trigger. It only increasess the reg pressure by turning it out. If you need to lower the pressure, you need to unscrew the bottle and pressure down the gun. So turning it counterclockwise is possible and turning it counterclockwise can ruin it.
Hey it typed wrong. Counterclockwise is good. the pressure turning counterclockwise goes up. And turning it clockwise destroys the valve. I wanted to be clear about that.
Hi I’ve just got the M4 in bronze and want it shooting the best it can, unfortunately I’m in the uk so are governed by the bullshit 12 ftlbs limit 😔 have you got any advice or tuning tips to help me get the best out of my M4
When I want to use this gun for target shooting at a range (50 meter to 100 meter), what lenght and caliber do I need? 5.5 standard size, or for example the sniper version?
For 100 yards you would want the 700mm. The 500mm and 600mm will also shoot 100 yards very well. The .22 is great. You may want to wait and watch my ZELOS video in a few days. It shoots a little better thnn the M4 and it's only $599. If you really want to buck the wind get a .30 cal but they cost a ton of $ to shoot. .30 call pellets are expensive
@@AirgunChannel I find single digit ES all the time with terrible groups. Extreme spread tells nothing about barrel harmonics....that is science....actually it's physics.

You have the best videos by far. Your explanation of every aspect of the M3 and the M4 tuning is spot on. Thanks
Thank you! -Nate
Great explanation

That M4 is a pretty nice rifle. This was a great and informative video.
I like my stock M4 because it's very light! Not like a Saber Tactical version of my M3. Good gun right out of the box.

Yeah, that sounds perfect. That's why it's a quick tune system, so you can go from ammo to ammo. Great job!

Met je micro haal je de snelheid naar beneden tot je de gewenste snelheid hebt. Die staat vast in de buurt van streepje 5 bij u . 😊
I'm glad you credited Moose on this because it looked surprisingly familiar of the link I shared on air gun nation

It's the 5 minute version of his video. I remade it! Thanks for hooking that up. I think our efforts will help alot of M4 owners.
There is an LGBT airgun community! Sounds like a wild place! I can dig it!
We just need an airgun community. Leave the other bullshit out of it.

Aight. I'll let you know how it does...
Reg1 in the chart is the regulator pressure gauge reading? Whats the Reg2? It would be nice to mention "NOTICE - NEVER turn the regulator adjustment screw CLOCKWISE under pressure. This will damage the regulator and will void your warranty!"
Reg 2 pressure on the M4 would be your Reg 1 pressure since the M4 only has one Reg.
@@AirgunChannel but how you turn reg pressure lower? It says you cant turn it lower if theres pressure in the system. Do I need to remove main tank and then turn it clockwise?
Now do a video on harmonic tuning
I will try to do that during my M4 tuning series. I really should.
Hello, so you can lower the reg pressure without depressurizing the gun?
I can't remember, Did I say that?

You have to degass it to turn down the first reg...the second reg just go 1/4 turn at a time. No first reg of course on the M4

Ma 2 macavity arms are the cheap version of this gun and I would rather have it than this gun anyway. Very light gun and extremely accurate.
There are many cheap versions of this gun. Like the Throne 2 ua-cam.com/video/-HsR8YyhxuI/v-deo.html
@@AirgunChannel this may be so but they don't shoot the same way in ma 2 does
