I remember in 2007 the commentators were kind of laughing out at Lewis Hamilton missing out the championship by one point while talking to Lewis father. His father was quite happy saying that he was glad this happen and continued to say that i believe Lewis Hamilton my son will be the greatest ever Formula one to ever hit the scene, just imagine at the time he was rookie no championship nothing. Now we are 2021 7 championship and 8 may be this year or next year i mean that is faith.
Watching this piece made me realise I have never and I mean NEVER thought of Lewis as a 'black' driver. Weird because it was obviously such a big influence in his upbringing. I wish the world was devoid of these sorts of prejudices. There are so many black athletes who are just brilliant.

One could clearly notice his calmness in Jeddha during the race and Abu Dhabi at the start and the reminder of the race.
Unfortunatly he was robbed at the end of the race but still he could ceep his calm even thou it must've been a hard pill to swallow.

People don't realise that our greatness 'as people' in what we do is often a catalyst for what we are able to achieve from suffering/being held back. Not even in top 8 of all time greats according to University of Sheffield study. Watch Fangio documentary on Netflix. Most successful, yes, but that has nothing to do with being the best driver, more to do with having had the best car like it has been the case for Lewis for the longest period of time in F1.

Knowing this, it's pretty obvious that Hamilton was the "darling" between him and his youngest brother, when introduced to motorsports. Specially considering that his brother has almost no visibility onto his racing career (even if we do consider that his brother gets to be a pretty nice race driver in other categories); meanwhile Hamilton was always considered by his father, something that we call here in brazil as "number 1 son" (when the family has 2 or more sons/Childs, pretty much all of the time, one of then clearly receive the best treatment while the other stays in the shadow.
All of it said, we do also had to consider that the period when Hamilton's career was almost entirely directed and managed by it's father, was pretty much toxic and contributed for the mental pressure and bad results as seen between 2010 and 2013 seasons.
This is why i admire everything about Hamilton's career, i do also see the same struggles onto Verstappen career. With both of then father pushing then beyond the limite, till' the point that we could consider absurd, toxic and maybe also as a bad behavior (good intentions considered, too).

Human beings from time immemorial, have always had choices and preferences. So it is, with fans of every sports under the sun and there is nothing you will say or do to detract those fans as long as their minds have been made up. Most dislike Sir Lewis for the colour of his skin, some for his excellence and some for his lifestyle. Those who are lucky enough to interact with him have spoken of his genuineness, humility and charity. Same goes for Max Verstappen, Sir Lewis' fans probably dislike him out of ignorance, not really knowing who he is.

Fun Fact: In 280 starts Lewis Hamilton has 10 DNF’s, but in 133 starts Max Verstappen already has 29 DNFes. Hamilton is the best driver at saving crash, hence he rarely spinning and crash either in Free Practices, Qualifying, and races. Max started less than half of races in total to Hamilton, but Max got tripled DNFes to Hamilton.

2021 Red Bull has the faster car? Is this a fact or an opinion? Lewis has benefited from Mercedes and has driven the dominant car of a generation. It’s impossible to separate Mercedes dominance with Hamilton’s. To posture as if Lewis has somehow overcome the limitations of the vehicle and won despite the deficiencies of Mercedes is laughable. Put Lewis in a Williams and then let’s count the championships.

0:40: This is so not true. VER had no way that much resources as MAZ. Compared to MAZ VER had nothing. Though Jos could provide some financial backing, all his resources was put in Max. They didn't have millions...it was good sponsorship by many companies who'd recognised the talent. The financial backing of MAZ is at least a million times that of VER.

as Sewis enjoyer I need to say that Lewis' car seems to be always faster than Vettel's maybe ferrari wads quite slightly better at the only the beggining of 2018, but to me it seems like they were equal: Mercedes faster at the corners, Ferrari faster on the straights. Ferrari was just doing better job these 2 first races, then it all began very competitive.
