Hey zak, the reason the option set came with those extra hip parts is because the cielnova's hip joints are slightly wider than the portanova and the alto, so they gave you those in case you wanted to give them to another kit and give their legs a slightly different stance
Love that the stock for the Cielnova pistol is an OPTION piece that plugs into EITHER side, I've said numerous times how I dislike the handedness of the stock Alto's gun and how it turns me off from that kit entirely, now looking online at 30mm kits I realize I must not be the only one as the Alto Weapon Option kit has been drastically reduced in price.
If you base coat these things in black and then slap on some red and orange they actually look really nice! Im also color blind so take that with a salt lamp sized grain of salt.

meanwhile me using Dragon Ball-style "charging up" and energy effects on my Gunpla and they are not the G Gundam and Build series variety, like your average Zaku and GM for example, lol.
Personally I hate the effect parts, I got a set of yellow blast to test it out and they are just awful. They require the stands to be used, they only plug into specific sections. Imma toss them in the bin and call it a day

the commander type armor for the PortaNova has an adapter so you can attach the shield on the side of the arm rather than the back

I think i found the perfect lance option for my Reginlaze Dragoon custom idea, might need to add some Zaku tubing to it though.

It's probably loose on those backpack tanks because those holes are hand sockets.
