Wish i had your talents and the drive to take on projects like you do.You do very good work on everything i've watched you try. I think i would rather have a boat you have refurbished than have the original new.You beef up all kinds things that should have been done new. But if they built them that way they would last years longer, cutting their profits. Can't wait to see whats next on your build.
Great build and very nice work. Do you happen to still have the original console that came with the Tracker? If so, would you be willing to sell it? If not, any chance you could send me dimensions of your new consoles or maybe a paper template?
Thank you. I appreciate it. I use a home made brake I built for most my projects. I used 2 2x4’s clamped together for most of this build. There’s very few bends in this.
Hello, Great Video! I have a similar boat that I have been off and on trying to fix up. I tried to install pink insulation but installed it horizontal instead of vertical. Then installed checkerboard. The floor was too soft so had to pull it out again. Also the floor wasnt strong enough to support the seats. Did you put reinforcements under the seats in some way?
i love the super cool vintage antique press brake!
She’s a beast. It weights a ton. Literally lol

I reinforced all the areas where the seats mounted with 3/4” material.
Thank you for watching and commenting I appreciate it
Hello Jeff,
What grit did you use to clean the aluminum please.
Thanks
For welding. I use a stainless steel brush. Or fine stainless wire wheel. Then I use a 120 grit or finer paper
