Great Sound.
This is 2 step. Not Anti lag.
A 2-step is a rev limiter that is used for drag race launching in any type of car. Basically you pull up to the line and put your foot to the floor, with the system turned on it will keep you at a pre-set RPM for optimum tire hookup without you having to watch the tach. One you launch, the system turns off and lets you rev to your normal rev-limit.
Anti-lag uses 2-step technology to cut timing and push raw fuel into the exhaust housing, the hot housing ignites the fuel and keeps the turbo boosting between shifts or at the line while you are "2-stepping" for your launch - Авто та транспорт

A lot of rally cars use anti lag. that is the bangs and pops between shifts you commonly hear. A lot of people are very confused when it comes to these two things.

Sounds of heaven. But one of the dumbest things to do to an Engine.. is rev the fk out of it without Load.
There is no good reason to suggest this is bad for an engine. banging it against the full rev limiter is silly but this, no.
+rustynuggets Thats funny, then why do they have wheels spinning for a Dyno tune? If that was the case they can just tune it while reving it 😂 Engines are made to be under Load. Of course this car could handle it.. but its obviously not good for it.
That's two completely different things. of course engines are made to be loaded not sure what your point is there. This type of free revving is not bad for a motor.

You can't tune a motor with out load thats why they don't do it free revving. Nothing is being tuned here so i dont see your logic. Sorry.
