Can you help me? I need advice for buying best sparring 16 oz boxing gloves. My budget is maximum 80€. Can you write me you’r 3 chooses? Thank you very much!
Are these easy to put on? I've never tried on boxing shoes that are taller. And I'm too lazy to be unlacing ave then lacing them back up at the gym lol But I'm really feeling the look of these. Would u recommend these to people who are lazy to lace these up at the gym?
My personal experience: I have no problem loosening/lacing these up. For a high top, I think they’re relatively easy to put on/off thanks to the laces and loops they use. I’d recommend them.
These are really nice shoes. I have the black Speedex low top ones (not a fighter, just train and do some light sparring at 53). I have big calves and havent bought a pair of high top ones. One question for anyone here: Does anyone know the brand of shoes that JCC Sr. used to wear thru his career? (The brand he wore against Meldrick, Roger Mayweather, Rosario). You dont see this brand too often and they are very nice. Great show!
How would you say it compares to the box hog 4? I got the 4s but they are not cushioned at all and on one i feel the back part digging into the back of my food
These boots are light-years ahead of bh4s. For me personally, the box hog is lacking on so many levels. First, they don't even completely fit around my ankle/lower-calf area, as the outsides of the tongue don't meet with the lace edges of the front of the boots if that makes sense, and while I can still put the boots on and tie them, it is just a real annoyance and something I can feel which bothers me- and I don't even have wide feet or really large lower legs. Besides that, it's just the over all lack of support whatsoever. Flat, thin soles, and flimsy, mesh structure. I know a lot of the design of traditional boxing shoes is to be light and give you the reactive-barefoot type feeling, but honestly, I think I would rather be barefoot. Like Carlo, I could not resist the $88 sale and hopped on it when it went up, even tho I have quite enough pairs of boxing boots. (That's relative tho, right?🤦♂️) The ankle indentations are very noticeable, and in a good way, and offer some impressive ankle support, while the sole is more rigid and structured, really giving the shoes an almost custom-like feel when you push your foot down and it locks in. The Ultras still have the super lightweight mesh , breathability thing going on, with great ergos and that newer, futuristic aesthetic that I was really feeling with the white and neon green... but I'm just an 80's baby, so I can't really help it. Great review as always C. ✌️
100x times better. These are actually a proper fit, durable and top quality while looking good. The box hog 4 shoes do not get close at all. Tried them all, ultra survived.
Hey Carlos, Do you think basketball shoes could be a good option for boxing training only? I own running shoes and Nike KO boxing boots but I feel it could be somewhere in the middle (more ankle support than running shoes but more cushioning than boxing boots) to train in boxing (not for the actual fights). I'm trying to find an answer on internet but can't find anything reliable. Thanks!
This Green elastic piece on tongue is to tuck your laces(bow)
Good to know
How many centimeters is the actual heel of the Speedex Ultra??
I have it and love it❤️
🥊👍🏼
@AbraKaDaniel I have them half year now. Doing at least two workouts a week and don't see any usage.
I wonder which he prefers this or adam boxing training 2.0
