The FED raised rates today and what this means for you as a nurse. NURSE ENTREPRENEUR COURSE nomadnursecourses.teachable.com COACHING CALL TEXT: 850-445-3300
I just saw an update on the nursing shortage and enrollment in the nursing programs across the nation is down. Some schools r trying 2 recruit students.
Unions are the ones that fight for you. My dues were $36 every paycheck. But reimbursed with a license renewal, and they paid for my certifications and classes if I decided to take additional courses up to 1800 per semester. To me I came out winning and getting unions benefits essentially for free. I have a raise annually regardless of performance etc.
I know sonogram techs that make more than nurses. One girl left nursing to do nothing more than walk around the hospital and do echo. And makes 4x what nurses make 🤦♂️ I'll need to meet with my boss and ask for at least a 15% raise or I'm gone 🤣✌️ believe me, I know where the door is!
Not at all. And in some states, just like other jobs, by law the really only have to pay minimum wages. Now, if you are union then that's a whole other conversation. 😕

Do they need students in these programs?
@@nicolebutler8271 I'm sure they do. NCLEX scores r down across the nation, so them rushing students thru programs is not going 2 work.

Wait, are hospitals obligated to increase pay to match inflation?

I am not sure hospitals are obligated. But the union can fight for it to have the hospital be obligated.
