I like the idea, especially for thread. I often fold my fabric in mini bolts around my 6inch quilting ruler. Slide the ruler out and secure with u shaped hair pins, not bobby pins. They stack nicely and are easy to keep. I dont have that much fabric though. I try to buy for specific projects rather than building a stash or anything like that.
My mother in law tied quilts with cotton strips, I would trust your gut on the tape! Does it by chance stick to the bottom of rulers and grip?? I need to get some, thanks for sharing
