I mean, statistically Ravu is worse since they only won 1 Reward challenge compared to Ulong's 3 Rewards. That being said though, Ravu at the very least has the excuse of being a tribe with NOTHING vs a tribe with the best shelter in Survivor history, 3 sets of fishing gear, and all the amenities. Ulong didn't really have that excuse.
It’s hard to argue that Ravu is worse in my mind, simply because the winner came from that tribe. Yes, Earl was switched over, but he was still original Ravu. Foa Foa, Matzing, and Ravu are all in that boat, so while the numbers look bad for all 4 of these tribes, Ulong is the only one without a winner.
Ulong is the worst. Ravu literally had nothing therefore performance was affected by no fire for days leading to depression, no water, no nourishment and no proper shelter while Moto had the opposite. Even if all Moto members were not athletic they would still win. Ulong did not have this handicap and were still terrible.
Poor Ravu was screwed by the producers. You can't win if you're dehydrated, starving, and sleepless. Also the swap removed all the brains in the tribe, besides Anthony who's immediately voted out.
rocky is one of the most loathsome survivor contestants ever imho. the way he talks down to anthony, generally disrespects women and starts screaming at the slightest provocation is just… yuck. this season would have been way better without his toxicity.
They got screwed by production for sure, but the dumb voting certainly didn't help their situation. They should have gotten rid of Rocky way earlier than they did. That unstable man-child constantly dragged his teammates down with his horrible attitude, awful challenge performances, and stupidity until the day he was voted off. I'm amazed that Earl and Yau Man went so deep after being screwed so bad initially.
They were lucky during the tribe swap, had they stayed in Ravu, Tau Man would have been voted out pre-merge and Earl one of the early boots after merge.
The game's twist definitely doomed Ravu, but I also feel like any tribe that had Rocky on it would have serious trouble flourishing. He just seems like such a volatile and hateful person to be around, it would be difficult to maintain any kind of morale/teamwork with someone like that in the mix. I can't believe it took so long for them to boot him out.
So, if you were "smart enough" tribe wouldn't you vote out toxic member of your team asap? Ravu got screwed by producers from beginning but their voting made their team even weaker.
In Ravu's defense, they had a massive disadvantage that no other tribe in Survivor history has had to deal with. I don't think I would even say they were the second-worst tribe in Survivor history. Maybe statistically, but the context needs to be considered.
I love that Lisi is talking smack about her teammates while her profession 'Customer Service Rep' flashes up at the bottom of the screen. The editor was having a laugh.
I feel bad for Ravu, they were given the short end of the stick this season, being forced to have nothing and going against people who lived in the lap of luxury
1:34 Throw them a thousand lifelines? My ass! They didn't even get flint until Day 7, and if they didn't make fire, they wouldn't have gotten flint until they won that reward at F12
I cut Ravu all the slack in the world since they were completely screwed just by the premise of the season. I’ll never understand why the producers decided to make an intentionally unfair season.
@@OnceUponAnIsland I guess but the lack of supplies, and considering that Moto was living the good life, and Ravu had next to nothing, kind of cuts them a little slack

@@OnceUponAnIsland Seriously? The number of players doesn't matter if those players also become starved, dehydrated, and exhausted. And one of those players was Lisi - who was worthless and wanting to quit even before Exile Island and being on the Ravu beach. So a tribe of relatively well fed, watered, and rested people who had to expend a lot less energy because all the biggest tasks were already done on a daily basis v. a tribe forced to drink coconuts for hydration until Day 7 while building a shelter competing in physical and mental challenges - with each reward challenge expanding the disparity. Heck - when given the opportunity to dump one of their own players or swap camps, Moto chose to vote out one of their own - so the extra player wasn't a big deal to them. Lisi basically quit the game after only a week at Ravu or Exile. Ulong was at least on relatively equal footing to the people beating them - while Ravu was in a no-win situation. I'm pretty confident that if you had swapped camp (Ravu being the "haves" and Moto being the "have nots") - the challenge results would have been virtually the same - and this plays out after the player swaps and the "superpower" tribe still being terrible. This season sounds like when the Roman Emperor went in to fight in the Colosseum, as in they sent a hungry man given just a moldy club while the Emperor was entirely covered in armor while surrounded by guards to make sure he doesn’t get too hurt
Ravu is objectively (as in, by the numbers) a worse tribe than Ulong, since they lost 12/13 challenges while Ulong lost 11/14. But because there was no "fall of Ravu" storyline like there was for Ulong, it doesn't *feel* like they're worse. It also gets a bit muddled in the edit because the exile players and tribe swap keep changing up who's on the tribe, and Survivor tells the story of the players, not the story of the tribes.
I disagree - or at least have to put a huge asterisk next that that statement. Ulong was on relatively equal footing with their opponents and lost - while Ravu was living in drastically different circumstances. Moto started the game with the best shelter ever, food, sleeping mats, fishing gear, plenty of water - they have had coffee while Ravu didn't even start with Fire or Water and were surviving on raw coconuts for hydration. They weren't a bad tribe, they were just screwed over by the ludicrous "haves and have not" twist. Probably the worst season-concept in the shows history (other than Cook Islands).
We’re never gonna get a cast this great ever again. Not because this cast is great, rather the casting of the show now is lacklustre. They care more about people who’ve face adversity rather than people who are interesting to watch.
The Matsing tribe from the Phillipines was absolutely horrible. In a 3 tribe system, they came in last in every elimination challenge until they just split up the last two members to the other tribes.

I think its actually super entertaining when theres just a trainwreck of a team. Yes it makes the multi-tribe phase really predictable and maybe a little less exciting but theres always the excitement of the merged phase anyway. So you get the entertainment of watching a trainwreck live on tv and still get the normal excitement of survivor once the teams merge.
Ravu is definitely worse. I mean even statistically Ulong did win more challenges AND there was no swap in their season. Ravu sucked before the swap and they just brought down good players after the swap.
Okay but that first guy was going to get knocked out that night. If we’re all in there and someone won’t shut up like a lil kid, they’re getting beat unconscious.
the common theme throughout all these terrible tribes seems to be: when the tribe is first formed, a woman naturally becomes leader and is in fact very efficient and effective, but the team goes 'ugh, she's so bossy and annoying' and vote her out first chance they get....then the team implodes from lack of proper leadership edit: holy shit, they just keep voting out good women for no reason
I still think Ulong is worse, but mostly because the tribe swap breaks Ravu into 2 seperate failing tribes, with not every loss attributed to the same group. The have-nots twist I think mitigates it too a bit. But with tribe swaps being a regular thing afterwards, Ulong I feel will always wear this crown.

I hope only the worst for Rocky
I LOVE how her prayer didnt get the fire going
They really said "were gonna stop being nice" and immediately body them 6-1 in the next challenge.
How did I never know these kinda of videos exist?! Gonna watch the Oolong Tribe video next!
*Ulong
@@OnceUponAnIsland does it matter
the Have and Have Not worked in Big Brother but not Survivor also Ravu is the third worse (Ulong and Matsing rank lower)
Fang is really bad too. And Zhan Hu. I'm probably forgetting one or two others.
I know what Anthony is feeling
Same
Lisi Being The Most Relatable And I'm Not Complaining. 🙂🙃
I love Sylvia. A video on here would make this channel a little less askew, and more orthogonal.
Like what?
I just can't figure out how they aren't able to make fire or a functioning water system
Ravu is definitely worse. I mean even statistically Ulong did win more challenges AND there was no swap in their season. Ravu sucked before the swap and they just brought down good players after the swap.
I don't understand why Fiji just didn't drop 1 player and have 3 tribes the tribe advantage was way to big to overcome.
Am I the only one who actually loved this season?😂
No. I loved it too!!!
No I loved the season as well
Okay but that first guy was going to get knocked out that night. If we’re all in there and someone won’t shut up like a lil kid, they’re getting beat unconscious.
Even when they win rocky makes everything negative and ruins it for everyone else. If the show is anything to go by, he's just not a good person.
the common theme throughout all these terrible tribes seems to be: when the tribe is first formed, a woman naturally becomes leader and is in fact very efficient and effective, but the team goes 'ugh, she's so bossy and annoying' and vote her out first chance they get....then the team implodes from lack of proper leadership
edit: holy shit, they just keep voting out good women for no reason
What saves Ravu from being ranked IMO anywhere near as bad as Ulong is the fact their tribe contained eventual winner Earl & season best Yau Man
One of my favorite season!!!
Rocky says, "You're effeminate bro!" to Anthony before he gets voted out
From seeing all these videos about the American survivor, I'm glad that did better with the Australian version
This is crazy Fiji is one of the only seasons I never watched I had no I idea it was this bad I’d have to revisit Palau but off what I remember this seemed a lot worse
So, one thing I have learned since "SPARE"-Me came out.
YOU NEVER ever give out your KILL COUNT and NEVER say it's "all the same, all the same".
Was very sad to hear he's acting like the CRINGE of GINGE. Smh!
5:32 what the hell is a expert witness locater ? Lol
Have you done a video on season 30, "World's Apart"? Most of the enjoyable people are voted out early in the season, and the rest of the players had a lot of drama that it was honestly hard to watch at times.
Very off topic here but I’m half Chinese (Hong Kong) and Sylvia’s bossiness doesn’t seem irregular her being born in Hong Kong
Anytime women are take charge but not constantly apologizing for it they are called annoying and bossy especially in America
@@ashleighcalvert8937 Or they're just being bossy. Ya know a "bitch" or for a guy it's a "dick". Why is it that whenever a woman is rightly called out for that some bimbo comes in saying "nuh uh! why's it always bossy for a woman in charge"...because she was a bitch.
3:40 I can only imagine comedy was a thought lol
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are back at it again! 🤪
I be like: you have a phone? Why haven't you use it to call Uber for drop off? Or have you? And how, or why do you have Jeff's number? Let's call him then hangup when he answered. All night.
This was probably the last season of survivor I had watched. And I was cheering on earl and dreamz
Supa Powa - Rocky
Haven’t seen this season, but I’m pretty sure that I’m okay skipping it.
I watch Survivor religiously. I don't remember any of these persons.
Dreamz can't be his real name, surely
No, it's Andre.
To be fair to Lisi (I don't know why I'd want to do that but anyway): Dreamz did burn them come the merge.
