The front sight post, being hollow, prevents it from covering your target and blocking it from your view. You can see the target through the sight post. It's a brilliant design.
Btw, love my Perst 4. Recieved my just a few days before the Ukrain war kicked off. Just wish i had a gen 3 and not the gen 4, so i could wire in a pigtail for a crane plug to run my light simultaneously with the perst pressure pad.

C2's are on my patrol rifle ... I wouldn't use anything else ... they are great sights

Interesting. I like the design of those sights. Well thoight out. My biggest concern is the rear peep backing out under recoil and losing it.

I like them but the truth is that anything over about 100y my eyes aren't good enough. I'm better off with some cheapo magpul flipups.
