As someone with brain damage, I struggle to learn the nuances of games like the things covered in this video. Like a mental block is preventing me from progressing as a player. But thanks to this video and specifically mimes way of wording and explaining things finally opened the metaphorical gate on my mental block and I’m now able to journey further. Thank you both. Yep, there's a lot of fighting game stuff going on in this game, like whiff punishes, happy birthdays, hit confirms, zoning, and a lot more.
I played the game with my brother and sister, we notice there's alot of korean pro players just killing us under 10sec, its very sad. The top rank players are koreans... They're just too good. TwT
@@luckyvue8239 If you're totally new to this game (as in you never played the closed beta), you kinda need to wait for a few weeks, tbh. The lower ranks are still filled with top 500 players atm.

For all you GS mains out there, it can seem hard to tech chase. Here's a handy one that works from most setups:
After you land a knockdown cancel whatever attack did it into a Dash, hold it long enough to Run and then cancel THAT into the lunging right click charge. This move has excellent tracking, does some of your highest damage and leads into another tech chase.
This loses hard if they counter on wakeup, but at which point its time to crouch cancel into uppercut for a free combo. Good luck!
what do you think of doing right clcik tech chase versus short hop L click?
@@HKBoba So, for me its a combination of risk vs reward. The hop left click tracks well, can't be countered and basically puts you back at neutral with the opponent cause you lose your edge when you land. It ALWAYS does what you need it to, but doesn't give you very many options to play with and is very low reward.
The right click tech chase is riskier on the face of it because it's telegraphed as hell and can be countered... but it also opens you up for lots of other stuff to mix up with.
If the enemy counters and you dash to the side to cancel the startup into another, then they're screwed. If you feint into the knockup, they're also screwed. The only way to beat either of those options is for the enemy to try and attack, and if they do that into the full charged right click they just die.
I personally prefer the right click because it feels more fun and more rewarding when I guess/read the situation right, but hop left click is more consistent on the whole.

This.... is so... SO... *_SO_* much harder than it looks.
Like I'm trying all this stuff and instead of improving I'm getting worse...
Like literally *_EVERYTHING_* I do is animation lock hell and I have no idea how to cancel. I press sprint and nothing happens, I press crouch and nothing happens, I press attack and it's like *charge attack initiate*, I slide and it doesn't, I press parry and it takes like 2 whole ass seconds to parry.
I'm so ridiculously frustrated I've never known a more steam exponential learning curve in my life. Like the moment I start I can't even do the tutorial right...

He boys, i have one question.
Im completly new at this game lvl 30 maybe and my light attacks often be blocked and i rly dont understand why....
i understand that you can block focus attacks but how the fuck you can block light attacks?

Haha appreciate it. Light attacks are countered when someone uses a focus attack on you. They armor through the light attacks. Also greatswords can block light attacks if they attack same time as you 😉
So is grapple just a free hit and close range?

What do you do when someone is tech chasing you?
if you hold a direciton you'll roll. so when you roll you can either wake up
parry, focus attack, or keep mashing shift and you'll dash out asap. just depends on what they're doing. the rock paper sissors just gets reset here
the only thing you shouldnt do is mash L click on wake up. you can wake up focus attack if you think they're about to light attack you

How to you escape a fight is my question. When I get hit, I seem to be in hit stun for way to long to be able to get any distance.
ok so, as long as you are charging a focus attack light attacks wont stun you, allowing you to hit them for free. if you parry a focus attack you stun the enemy. you don’t really escape fights in naraka, maybe by grappling away or dodging by pressing shift or c, but you pretty much just have to turn and fight if you’re going against good players.
@@dominickpissegga2128 Ive started realizing that more. Unless you are a few characters in a few situations, getting away is very difficult, its actually easier to turn the fight around. The hard thing I find with charge focus attack against normal spamming is that you do take damage still, so if you have low health its not that feasible. I'm not complaining about this mechanic, just that its tricky to play with.
How can you make a movement guide if you don't even add the auto run! Hold the sprint button with no other input.
Auto run was added as part of the accessibility patch. This tutorial came out on release :)

This game is really worth to buy . The game play is good but Imma buy this game just because i can change hair cut and outfits with my face in it .im surprised the face sync is 90% close.not sure with other people but with me it’s work like a champ.

When you are low health and is playing that monk boy and you are the last one left of your team
Turn into the titan, grab a bitch, then proceed to run into the storm then slam that bitch and watch them struggle to get out of the storm then they dies
If you know you gonna die, take a bitch with you like I have done
Or you can just grapple them to death. thats always a solid way to win every fight

Since FPS skills are usually easily transitioned and carried over between the majority of FPS games in the genre, Naraka has completely different gameplay so most players are on equal footing (unless your facing someone who played in the prior beta(s), but even then they only lasted a week so it's not like they have years of experience on you).
It depends on how you see it.Right now, there are no old players.If you continue to play the game for months or years, you will become one of these old players.If encounter a player that started a weak ago and that player already knows all the mechanics and can be comparable to you, I can sadly say that the game has no skill ceilling. Its hard to make melee games that require skill(at least until VR evolves more).In fps games, player that played more are better because they built their muscle memory over years of doing that.Aim tracking and flicking requires muscle memory and skill.Pressing 2 buttons, learning abilities ,mechanics and how to time blocks doesnt.You can learn those in a week and be comparable to pros(and I say comparable, because experience might matter, comparable means that you will be able to kill them 3 times out of 10 in 1v1 ,4 times out of 10 or even get a draw..and doing that only after 1 week or month.If you dont have muscle memory, I assure that in a ballanecd fps game you would lose 100 out of 100 against a pro.That is waht skill ceiling is.
@@sneakcr3144 my old definition is from last the beta, some of them are better obviously, but you still can kill them not like FPS. The difference is not as much. Even tho eventually they get a year of experience. Newer players still have better chance to kill them in many circumstances compared to FPS.
That’s why this game is quite favorable for everyone, won’t get slayed as easy as other FPS game.

You should install the Game on a SSD, then it works fine.
The game has a lot of fps and network lag right now. It's not just you. Last beta had its problems but it seems worse right now.
@@PegAsi_ Yes, its a real problem.Last beta I initially installed it on a external hard drive..and it was not playable, but when I re-installed it on an SSD, it was way better, though, I still experienced sudden crashes, but overall it was on ok experience for a beta.Now, its even worse....alot of stuttering, freezes, crashes..seeing black or red when I enter the match and of course, crashes.And the funny thing is, that they give you the buy message at the start of the game when the game is in this state :)).The game is not optimized for all devices.This still be in beta..it should not be released in 2 months.They should work at least 6 months or more at the game.Also, alot of ballancing problems and clunky gameplay.The idea is nice, the grafics look good, the presentation is ok..but the exeution of everything is kinda bad...

One thing I don't like is that they make the crouch-jumping as an advanced movement. The female characters look really beautiful but that movement doesn't look elegant at all. It doesn't look natural.

3080 works pretty ok with it. I get 90 fps when I'm not recording/streaming
I play at 4K with a 1080 Ti and my frames are 70-80. My settings are a combination of low and ultra.

Nothing really matters the it just needs further optimization
@@crowc7904 I have a 5700xt and ryzen 3600, runs at 70 fps average on 1440p. Make sure it's installed on an SSD.
Also lowest settings possible doesn't mean best, it might force all the gpu load onto the cpu (depends on the game, but cpu/gpu loads change depending on settings).
I turned off volumetric clouds/lighting/reflections/AO, everything else is maxed except AA on medium. And checkerboard rendering on. Runs p decently now.
This game looks super fun but I definitely won't be paying 12 dollars for the whole game unless it becomes really popular. Cus BR games are kinda gone now and most of them are dying if not already dead (RIP realm royale)

Not true at all. Maybe the circle is shrinking but not the point of disappearing into other dimensions. Maybe the genre is not popular as it was before but that does not mean that its dead. Lots of games are still supporting the BR formula.
3 of the top 10 most watched games on Twitch are BR games. You’re talking nonsense. Of course Realm Royale is dead, it never became popular because it sucked from day 1.
