@@HKBoba I’m on every night been trying to focus on fundamentals I especially wasn’t using the instant counter...so I haven’t been doing much climbing but I’ve definitely been on!
Bro we need a video for each weapon and the combos with them. Also I feel like each character has a different variant of the same combo ? But not quite sure on it
Like one video for each weapon, and wich weapons are the best to combo together. Ex long sword plus repeating combo . Or musket lobsword ect
A video on weapon clanks would also be nice. Whenever I clank hits I just get fucked up!
Aside from greatsword, most players after a clank will do 2 things, either go for another light, or charge a focus in assumption that you will go for a light attack. I’ve had a lot of success just charging a focus after a clank and then either canceling into parry or letting it rip depending on what they do

From a fellow Naraka player to another, whats worked for me is to not engage in a
1v3 situation. Its okay to run and let someone else fight them while you shoot from afar in hopes of the situation becoming more favorable to you. But if its endgame then good luck.
Also if you do a custom game with subs that would be lit

Focus atacking IS when you hold ur atack?i dont know How any atack of this game Works bc i didnt installed It yet
Is the timing for instant focus parry very strict? I can’t get it to work with greatsword. Also, can you make a video about using stoneform effectively? I am having trouble applying stoneform. I appreciate that the blocks from stoneform prevent damage, but I find most of the time I would rather be able to keep charging my focus attack and mixup my release timing/cancel than be forced into this weird neutral rock paper scissors scenario with predictable timings.
I have trouble countering grapples with the GS because of stoneform, and I don’t fully understand the difference between stone form off focus attacks vs clanking light attacks. Does stone form even activate from clanked light attacks?
I would love a video all about stone form mixups. I LOVE the Greatsword! The dash slide air horizontal is SO MUCH FUN!
Edit: searching around and nobody else seems to have a video on stoneform or describes it well. You’d be the first if you made it!
Definitely looking into a GS tutorial! And the focus parry isn't SUPER strict but it's pretty strict
@@HKBoba the issue was I didn’t know about the rules with charge length. Can’t wait to go home and try it! I also didn’t know you had to charge focus BEFORE a grapple hits you to get the focus off.
Also, I mentioned it in my other post, but weapon clank situations confuse the fuck out of me. Especially with the greatsword. I get mixed up with stoneform vs weapon clank and what can be done from each.

@@tubesism any time it does the suction effect around your weapon its a stone form hit. if youre turned around stone form wont block also. i recommend getting off greatsword for a while its often a crutch for new players who want a blocking mechanic. It can still be very hard to fight against if you cancel your stone form focus attacks with jump or dodge or crouch.
as a new player, my problem is how to stop parrying when i'm fast combo attacks (read: button mash attacks) lmao :'D

Nice tutorial, but i just cant manage to parry good fighters, they hit me so fast all the time so i never get to parry? But maybe its just soo difficult that you need the perfect timing

I don’t get how to find time to cancel or crouch/jump when I’m stun locked most of the fight. Any time I attempt these things I get punished with an uppercut. Not to mention how hard it is to see the blue with all the motion going on. This video is good and I learned what to do but it seems almost impossible in game.
Just takes a lot of practice. Make sure you're playing lots of deathmatch to get used to fighting before you do the BR

It happens when you get parried. As the tutorial tells you so maybe pay attention to tutorials.

I really wanna know is clashing your weapon with your opponent's via normal or focus attacks worth it and why ?
If you Clash you can avoid taking damage, but it's more of a tie than advantageous or bad. If you have the same weapon and you both spam left click, you will continually just clash. If they have the greatsword, clashing will activate their stone form focus attack so you may lose clashes vs a great sword more than other weapons unless you do what's recommended in this video. Some weapons are faster so if you clash they may have an advantage if their weapon can re-engage quicker.

clashing is really worth since every combo in the game always start with a light attack to stun lock

Pro tip: There is a perfect way to execute instant parry while charging regardless prior to the first focus charge or second charge. If you assign your crouch and parry hotkey to your side mouse, you can actually use instant parry any time you want just by pressing both at the same time. You can use it while focus atk, jumping, grappling. It's the easiest way to execute parry anytime anywhere. I discovered it while familiarizing with my mouse hotkey setup =)

None of these canceling tricks work. Cannot cancel anything. Is this no longer a thing? Is there an option or something I have to check in order to be able to cancel ?

Was this video pre parry button?
Parry button is there. But parry button used to be a little slower due to the way input buffering worked. Also depending on your input combination parry button could cause issues
