- Hello all
I was looking for simple quick and easy to do so I decided to strip down the rear suspension including the radius arm and drum brake. It was quite satisfying to break it all down into the component parts. The next job is to get them cleaned and rebuilt and then back onto the rear subframe.

1000...Before year end I am sure.....great channel ..
Thumbs up.I like the idea of a new back plate already put together with new stuff,it,s a little bit of new car.lol.
Cheers.
Yeah. I didn't know that they were available until the other day
Haha that hub nut came off a bit too easy imho. I had the hardest time getting of the hub nut in my latest video.
Yeah it did come off to easily! I don't think that it was as tight as it should have been. The impact gun is good but it's not magic lol
@@BlakesDen Mate I actually bought a beast of an impact gun to get my (front) hub nut off, and it barely got it off in the end (after trying multiple times). Crazy how stuck it was on there. Good videos as always mate
Thanks! I remember torquing up the rear hub nuts on my cooper, I actually lifted to rear off the axle stands! I didn't think that I was even that strong 😯
Wondering if I can be cheeky and ask a question - on your MPI how many speed settings do your wipers have? I've got an issue with mine. There's four positions on the stalk, O, - - -, --- and then ==
When you set yours to the double lines do you actually get working wipers? Mine stop dead (same if I press down on the stalk itself).
Cheers (oh and it's nice to see good commentary on your videos, its very helpful)
Hi Martin. I have the following:
Off
Intermittent
Fast
Even Faster
And one wipe when you hold it down.
The double lines should give you then even faster speed and yes mine work at this speed. At a guess I'd say there is a problem with your stalk, it's a common item across 1990 rovers and us easy to replace.
@@BlakesDen cheers, that's what I thought I remembered it being. Right - off to find a stalk...
