Working dudes-great video-I really enjoy the youth-people jumping on the back end of a truck in full work clothes that would be a great test for I-State football players-great job young man-you guys never see problems only challenges-you guys are right the company needs to send you new equipment to test for them-thanks again for the great video and carry on.
I'd totally love to have another cart or at least bigger currently have a 660 bushel but 2 trucks can't even keep up with me it's taking them anywheres from an hour to 2 just to dump and a hour in just traveling to and from the grain elevator I remember a time when you could get in and out in 40 mins
Are you really happy with your new dryer as far as reliability and performance? I think your entire place is sukup but did you ever consider a neco or grain handler? Do you ever wish you had gone with a tower for sheer simplicity? Certainly your opinions are more valuable than a salesmans.
It’s hard to say because we don’t have much to compare it too. We came from ezee dry’s so just about anything is gonna be better than that. So far though it’s been really good! The controls and efficiency are insane
It helps to keep the corn from splattering everywhere and making a mess. I just used those as a test this year. I might come up with a more permanent solution for next year.
Invest in some Midland 2-ways boys. MTX115 with external speaker $150 a piece with the harvest discount. Set up your privacy code, lock the display, and you'll never have to touch them again.
Only need 2 grain carts if they are sized right. But it's gotten to be you need super sized ones so you don't need as many semis. But then you need a case 600or bigger quadrat. The farms I know with them even that are green all use Case. But then again depends on how long the haul and unload times are. 2 12 row with folding heads so you don't have to remove the heads. But got to make several upgrade the heads and combine in general to make them work as efficiently as possible. Interesting channel Your more the normal farm, you don't have millions in debt. But then again if you spent million on used equipment would you be better off. If you would have done it 3 years ago pretty sure you would. Now who knows what future holds Good luck
I never understood the concept of having a larger than 1000 bu grain cart. The most crucial time you lose is when the cart gets loaded, goes to the truck and dumps, the comes back. In bigger fields and high yielding corn that combine is going to be full before you get back. Hence the reason we run two carts for 1 combine. When one is gone dumping the other is right there to fill the gap. A bigger cart doesn’t solve that problem, I think it may be even worse cuz then you need to have two trucks at the field every time you need to dump
People on the C.B. have what is called a Linear using more than 4 watts for normal and 12 watts sideband. These Linears can go over 100 watts, meaning they have a LONG....LONG range. In some cases, halfway around the earth on what is called a skip-day, where the atmosphere skips the signal.
@@mannfamilyfarms381 switch to 2 way radio then you don't have to worry about it. But then again don't know size of your farm. Midland 2 way radio in each cab like 300 bucks.
Be careful what you wish for with getting freebies from the big companies! It seems like that’s when a farmer who shows what they do on UA-cam turns into a “UA-cam farmer”. I haven’t watched a millennial farmer, cole the queer, or Larson farms video in 1-2 years. Cole really hit bottom when he offered dirt and rock from their BIN SIGHT for donations..last video of them I ever watched.
@@mannfamilyfarms381 gotta be a slippery slope & fine line to walk bc who wouldn’t want free stuff and new equipment to use?? Plus you guys put a lot of hard work into videoing and editing AND exposing your operation to the world, so it’s gotta be a tough decision. And I’m sure mffer, Cole, and larsons are doing just fine with losing a few farmers’ viewership, considering we’re only 1% of the population anyways 🤷🏻♂️
So Larson farms who I personally know one of the companies they push on line and its a very good company and jeez it's only a discount code that you can use if you want to buy the product. If you don't want to don't buy it. The discount only helps the consumer and they get paid enough to make the video and it take 15 second to watch it. If you want to learn about big stuff and they get a demo of brand new tractor, combine head, tall boy sprayer, digger etc and they are free to tell their honest opinion I like that as my family farm went from 6k acres in 70s to 2k acres now and we no longer farm anything except forestry and lease out fields, and hunting land. My uncle owns the last of the farm that's over 150 years old. I love seeing the new big equipment because if I knew this is where farming was headed my cousin and I would have kept farming and not done law school This is just like farming with equipment 20 to 30 years old. There's nothing wrong with it. It's just they haven't gone to banker and gone all in like say Cole did. He's on a 3 year 6 million dollar turn around plan. If the recession hits as hard as they say he's screwed. I don't watch Cole that much of at all. Milium farmer makes least 100k a year on social media. That's what they live off of. His dad still owns the farm. Larson farms explains stuff, they buy allot of stuff they test if they like it. But they are over 6000 acres. Welker I watch sometimes, just cause I like seeing the big buds run This is my first time watching these guys. I am gonna watch again
Sounds like someone’s a snowflake. They ain’t got any freebies, that’s just called being a big time farmer buddy. My family farm got to demo an x9 next to a class 8800 this year for example
Listen to it purr. Beautiful.
Great job guys! Thanks for sharing.

The story telling on the cb is mindboggling. I enjoy it more than talk radio
It can be interesting

Can't figure out why Mann Farms ad Ivers farm both doesn't have a million subs! But look how half of America votes...
