I have seen you use them in some of your colour demo videos. I thought they may have been pill boxes or something, and still thought it was a great idea! I am especially keen on having all the yellow in one, the reds in another and so on! Thank you for this little video.
Hello Jane I was fascinated by your showing of Malcolm Carver's tiny palette. As a couple of your reviewers have indicated, this item is not available in the UK market. However, I have just ordered one from Malcolm's website at $22 (£12 sterling) with no p&p charges! Thank you so much for demonstrating this product. Although my current palette is at capacity with 33 'DS' colours, I now require a further two, following one of your tutorials on swatching the colour Green 🙂 Best wishes Gerald
Great! Glad it was helpful. Just make sure you push the lids up from the centre as they can break off if not healed carefully. There are so many fascinating greens! While I know how to mix them using yellows and blues, or greens and browns, or so many other ways, there are some that are just so useful that they are worth adding.
Very interesting little palette. I do not think I would use it as storage, I buy most of my paint in pans, but I would set up a specialist palette or two for using easily, it looks very lightweight and practical and sometimes I would like that, and mixing on paper is something I need to do more of. It would be nice if these were available at one of our more accessible retailers here in the U.K.
I found some white sticky dots, added them to each little lid and painted each in the colour in the well. then covered with tape to protect them. It's all fiddly stuff!
Thanks, Jane. I wondered if it was that simple. I worked as an archivist for a while and still use a lot of organizational ideas in my life. @@janeblundellart

I thought they were pill boxes, too.
What a cool idea. Thanks for sharing.
Great to get the link to these palettes. Such a smart idea. Thanks for the video Jane!
Glad it was helpful!
I love how neat you keep your paints with the labels and the swatches 😊
Thank you! 😊
Thank you, @Jane Blundell!

It is only available directly form the artist in Australia, however he ships internationally.
This looks really useful for travel. I can't find it in the UK yet, but I will keep my eyes peeled 👀
You won’t find it in the UK as he sells it from Australia but ships internationally.
Thank you! I will investigate 🙂@@janeblundellart
I just ordered three of them!
Enjoy them! Open them carefully by pushing up from the inside as you see in the video so you don’t strain the fine plastic hinge.
@@janeblundellart Thank you. I wondered how long the tops would last before breaking.
They last well if you are careful (but I suggest you don’t let other people open them…)
I love interesting design that is useful. Can I ask what the colour stickers on top are made from?

Will he offer a discount for multiple units? You seem to have at least 12 of them!
You’d need to contact him about that.
I woke up late and I missed this 😫. Oh well, I’m still First 😆😆.
