You are right, my friend! stay safe and greetings from germany. I am also speechless. I have known this girl for about 4 years, but I am .................?
People tend to miss the real gems in Angelina's early performances: When the song is finished, we can literally see her coming out of her own musical world, her music mode, and quietly become just an unassuming little 10-year old girl again. I always find these moments priceless...
For me, this song cannot be performed any better. When I take the video away and just listen to her singing, I am in AWE!! I sort of understand it. Lot of people are a bit tired of the child prodigies. But, to me, Angelina Jordan, is not a child prodigy. She is one of the best singers I have ever heard. Period.
Most people watch children perform then say, pretty good for a child. Angelina is not good for a child, she can only be compared to the greatest singers, dead or alive. Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Adele, Whitney...

Emerson, I know you don't react anymore to comments but I wanted to be on record by telling you how much I love your reactions. I'm sure most of us have come back to your reactions to watch them over and over again. Be well and stay safe in these crazy times.
Thank you for reacting to Angelina. She's so gifted! My favorite song she sings is Summertime. Maybe you could react to Terry Lin, a friend of Dimash, doing the same song? Angelina sings one way, Terry sings another--both are great!!
Could you react to Angelina's cover on "This is a men's world" (from 3.25)! It's the amazing live rendition. She is absolutely perfect. The whole concert is a masterpiece.
I absolutely love your Angelina reactions, they make me so happy. I agree with Lene Lene, please do a double reaction whit Angelina singing A Million Years Ago and then the Angelina vs Adele. And also pretty please with sugar on top react to Aurora. I suggest AURORA - RUNAWAY - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert, just because I want to save her Nidarosdomen for later. She wrote Runaway when she was 12 years. I think you will fall in love with Aurora as you have with Angelina. I will now write way to much info about Aurora in hope of making you curious. She is from Norway, born in the summer of 1996. Aurora's family did not know she sang before she was 14 years old. When she was 6 years old, she found a keyboard in the attic and started to play, it was broken so she had to hold the on button in and could only play with one hand. She discovered that she could play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata bye ear and started writing melodies as a diary for herself and when she was 9 years old, she started to write lyrics. She wrote “Puppet” when she was 15 years old, and when she was 16 year she got a gift from a friend a four hours session in a studio, so she record the song for her parents as a Christmas gift because she could not stand to preform for anyone, not even them, and they so desperately wanted to hear her sing, she played all the music in addiction to singing. This song is about a man who is stuck in an abusive relationship. She explained in an interview "Suddenly, three weeks after ["Puppet"] was released, (leaked on UA-cam by a classmate) I had management. And people were asking for interviews, and I got a few gigs. It was very strange. And I didn't even want to meet my management. I didn't have any use to become an artist, I didn't see the point of it. Then my mother told me that she felt this wonderful feeling between sadness and happiness, at the same time. She told me that if I could make her feel that way, maybe I could make people feel that way. And it would be selfish in one way to hide music from the world if it could be of any use. That kind of made me take the first step into the music industry. She is wonderfully quirky, and for instance can not stand strangers touching her hair or her face, so she cuts her own hair and only wears clothes she fell like wearing when she wakes up in the morning and never wear high heels. She is an introvert and hated preforming and it was only after over 100 performances that she begun to like it. Fun Fact: She once mentioned in an interview that she isn't consciously aware of her gesticulations when she's singing, her band mates pointed it out to her once and she looked at them like they were crazy. I like how her subconsciously knows that she can convey the emotions of her songs a lot better with the help of gestures. You can see it in her eyes at the en of live performances, she is far away somewhere when she sings and it takes her a couple of heartbeats to come back to this world. She writes songs substance, not empty pop lyrics. Her songs can make you cry and want to dance at the same time. She has more than 1000 poems in her notebooks waiting for the right melody and the right time to be released to the world. In a recent interview she explains that when she chooses songs for her albums she tries to think and feel what the world will need in about a years’ time. She was working on new songs and then boom, “meetoo happened, and only weeks later she performed “It Happened Quiet” for the first time and had already written “Churchyard” and “Queendom”. She is pure magic, an emotional savant and a musical genius.

You can see it in her eyes at the end of live performances, she is far away somewhere when she sings and it takes her a couple of heartbeats to come back to this world.
Aurora has a phenomenal voice and is really, talented, but most of all she is a magical storyteller. Her songs tell story’s and often several of her songs fit together and tell a larger story.
