That looks insane! Plus it eliminates the worry with these alpine coaster, that someone will break in front of you. You really don’t mind waiting longer when your guaranteed a fast ride

i rode this a while ago because I have family nearby that place. I haven't been on many alpine coasters but this was the best and most insane one i've ever done. the line was not moving and took over 2 hours but it was worth it! I have never heard tpw laugh like this even on ride to hapiness!

This ride looks like heaps of so much fun with massive speeds loads of airtime Gforces even some Heelix Heelix lol, it looked endless on the track, overlooking the spectacular views, I love your laughs Shawn your funny innuendos too. you always seem to be super chilled on these fierce interesting speedy rides. we went for my birthday a few years ago and the bottom of the lift was at about 4000/5000 ft up according to our car it was awesome
I had a weird deja vu moment watching this so looked on Google maps to see where it is and it's the one we did on a school trip to France and Germany back in 2008 that I've never known the name of! I remember it being great fun but we had to go in pairs and me being the shortest in our year had to go in the front so I wasn't in control of the speed but luckily the girl I was with wanted to go pretty fast. I'm so happy I finally know where we went!

Love seeing this! I went to Todtnau with my parents and sister on vacation when I was younger. We did the rodelbahn and went to the Steinwasen park. Didn't even know Europa Park existed lol. Probably was too expensive.

There is an argument in Germany about who has the longest alpine coaster because two alpine coasters are exactly the same size. The 'Hasenhorn Rodelbahn' and the 'Alpine coaster Imst'. Both claim to be the longest, but which one is the best is a better question. You can just make a coaster trip with only alpine coasters and rodelbahn in Germany and Austria, and do more attractions than on a coaster trip. There really are so many to discover.

I'm exited to see what you thought of Steinwasen park. I've just been there recently during a family vacation and I really enjoyed it! Unfortunately I couldn't persuade anyone to go to the Hasenhorn coaster as well, but someday I'll make it! I loved hearing you laugh and scream on the ride, the joy and fun was really contagious :)

Seinwassen Park is a nice little park, they have Goats too. I actually prefer their alpine coaster to the Hassenhorn Coaster, and they have some cool little rides. It's also free entry if you have the Black Forest Konus Card. Also you get one free go each day on the Hassenhorn Coaster with the Konus Card. Lots of accomodations come with a free Konus card if your staying in the Black Forest area.

Looks superb. Just taken a look at the map, it certainly is in the middle of nowhere? Only six hours drive from the in-laws place in the north, so a day trip's out of the question!

Done this today, had to use the brakes thou, especially the first time as it was starting to get a bit uncomfortable on the bends. Bloody good thou and not bad value for 13 euro each

It is a brilliant long ride. But I would still prefer the Alpsee-Coaster in Immenstadt as Germanys best. Same length, also spectacular views but the even crazier layout and still no magnetic trim brakes!!!

@@ThemeParkWorldwide Yeah, I know it is even more in the middle of nowhere. Maybe the new SBF-Visa Big Air Coaster at Ravensburger Spieleland is a reason to come to the beautiful Allgäu and Bodensee region (this is a very "interesting" ride). But when it comes to alpine coasters, the real crazy stuff of course happens in Austria. The Wiegand in Imst maybe the longest, but these Brandauers are complete madness. Especially the one in Mieders and the Wally Blitz (a real crazy hidden gem).

Pretty sure they are equally famous. Hasenhorn coaster is a bit oder though. I prefered the Alpsee coaster because of the even prettier landscape imo. Both are really great though
I was looking for something to help divert our 2022 trip into Black Forest territory for some ‘make your own adventures’ territory and this particular video has ticked all the boxes! It looks fantastic both the ride and views :)

Kind of 'fun fact': The view you have at 1:06 - 1:12 looks almost like one of the Alpine skiing hills in Drammen, Norway. It really comes down steep right behind the houses. Its not that long though.

Yeah okay, technichly this is in Germany, but the mountain is very close to Switserland. And that's mainly the view of Switzerland.

We're heading to Phantasialand for the first time in April and PortAventura in August. You mentioned card payments, is it more beneficial to get converted cash before we go or is Visa card a cheaper option?
Have a great time! It’s entirely up to you however we mostly use card payments abroad now as there’s no fees with some banks!

I did this coaster a few years ago. Halfway down, I was furious because the idiot guy in front of me had actually STOPPED his car, so I had to stop too and was shouting at him to get going! Was terrified that another one would come hurtling round the corner straight into the back of me! It is a great trip, isn't it - stupendous views and did you get your souvenir photo out of the machine at the end?
