this is the park that started my love of theme parks after going there on a school trip when i was 13. rode black mamba as my first ever major coaster and talocan as my first ever major flat ride. i'm now 25 and haven't been back to the park yet but as soon as i saw this i started planning a trip - looks like the perfect mix of nostalgic rides i remember and exciting new additions. see you soon phantasialand!
Do you guys just not sleep? Three parks in three days is pretty incredible. Love these vlogs, looks like you are having so much fun! Thanks for sharing all of it.
It was nice to meet you both at the exit of Taron last monday. We saw you in the queue behind us. Nice that you took the time to make a picture and have a little conversation! We even saw you two walking to the hotel when we left by car. We've had a fantastic day in the park, it looks like you enjoyed it as well. Enjoy the rest of the road trip!
I really enjoy your videos and appreciate how you show and appreciate all that park has to offer, not just the rides. Also, I love the energy and fun to the whole experience that you and Charlotte bring. Thanks for continuing to bring a smile to my face.
Great vlog. I visited Phantasialand around 2 weeks ago. It was actually the first time after roughly 20 years, so almost the whole Park was new to me. I like their roller coasters (especially Taron) but I gladly give a pass on attractions such as free fall towers or spinning rides (like Talocan). I must admit that both shows - the ice show (ice college) and the one in the Berlin themed area (Nobis) - were a pleasure to watch. The food in their restaurant "Uhrwerk" was also a nice surprise and the waitress was very friendly! Ps. A great dark ride would have my vote for a new attraction in this park :)
Just catching up with all your Phantasialand videos. I’ve finally booked for September this year. First time visit, 2 days at the park. So excited. Buzzing!! Massive bucket list park for me!
That water coaster dark ride looks insane. My fav ride in the whole world is Valhallah when it's working so this is definitely what I would go for. The rapids look so unique. I do love my water rides. 😊
Thank you Shawn and Charlotte for this fantastic vlog packed with loads of positive energy, it makes me happy to watch the vlogs! Greetings from the Netherlands!🇳🇱
Went around a similar time to you guys in 2021, going again in June 2022 as part of a Europe mini (ish) trip. Taron and Fly are amazing coasters with amazing theming, but by far Talocan was such an all round experience and just as fun to watch as it was to ride. It really puts on a show with the soundtrack and the fire! The intensity of the flips knocked me for six on the first day though, knew it was intense but it was more than I was expecting. Didn't get a front row, hopefully will next time. Front row on Taron at the end of the day was something else, loved it.
Awesome Vlog! Really enjoyed it. That really hyped me up since I'll be at Phantasialand this weekend!! (Also Charlottes Outfit looks AMAZING - those leggings have an amazing colour :D )
Great vlog as usual, was at AT today and was chatting to some of the staff who know you. They all hold you in high regard. Managed to do all major coasters multiple times thanks to your advice from your last AT vlog... Keep it up guys!! 👍
That water ride river quest looks class... would of loved to have seen Charlotte on it lol.... loving all ur vlogs..... keep doing what yous are doing love ya both. Xx
Hi shawn and Charlotte Wow I love this park it looks amazing. Great fun watching you both enjoying yourselves. Loved the vlog thankyou both for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
super exited to hit this park up early next year, top of my bucketlist and every video i watch the more exited i get. great volg as always, even if im half a year late to commenting
Nice vlog ! I was here this day and it was such a surprise to saw you at Phantasialand, I was the guy who said you "Hello" at the beginning of your second day in the Rookburgh queue
Rewatching this now because I went to Phantasialand last week. I got proper soaked with River Quest!! Not a single piece of dry clothing left. Luckily we had the best weather ever, but I still had to use those infrared cabins to dry up. Damnnn. I knew we would get soaked, but I didn't know it was THAT WET jeez hahaha. Taron was my absolute favorite ride, the intensity is insane. FLY was awesome, love the ride style, but not the most comfortable. We had an amazing day, with pretty short queues. Now planning my trip to Energylandia later this year. Really excited for that!!
That place looks amazing so colourful 😍 and very well themed I think that's one of your best u have visited and the rides wow brilliant. Look forward to the next one
Such a shame I missed the funhouse on my visit, looks great! I found most ride entrances hard to find in the park even with the map but love the layouts and detailed theming.
Im going back in like december. Last time i went in the winter chiapas was EMPTY so i got a private ride on it that was so cool. I havent seen fly yet hopefully it doesnt break then
I went to phantasialand for the first time ever today and went on talocan as my second ride after the swing carousel and omg the talocan made me feel rough like if it did another spin cycle I would have thrown up I found it very intense and I was at the front with my girlfriend but she didn't find it to bad just made her a lil dizzy. Usually I'm ok with top spin with rameses revenge and ripsaw but talocan was on another level. Not sure if I went again I would ride it. But amazing theme park loved it wish the UK had something on the same standard
I get the quick pass when i go to phantasialand and thats mainly because my BFF isnt a huge fan of the big big coasters....i cant wait to ride fly next year! Taron is my current top coaster
Hi there Shaun, great Vlog as always. As for Mystery Castle it has two cycles. A short one and a long one. They switch every day at 2pm. So if you want the short, more intense, one, ride in the morning and if you want the linger one, ride in the afternoon.
Rookburgh is really amazing. Probably the best themed area in the world. How they built the whole area and FLY around each other is really amazing. Then again, the whole Phanatasialand is incredible except for the stupidity of not allowing on-ride footage anymore.
Just rewatching all your Phantasialand vlogs and I think this will be our first go at an overseas (not including Florida) trip. A few minor hurdles (researching gluten free or dairy free coeliac safe food in another country is an adventure in itself!) but ahead of a bigger road trip, we’re looking at separate mini breaks to Phantasialand and Efteling first … Europa next time to (hopefully) catch this new ride if it happens! But do you both stay mostly on park or in Bruhl? That H hotel looks decent too!
aww i loved that water ride with the wings oh i would ride that all day!! i wish they had a park like that here in america, but that will never happen, not in my life time anyway
Totally agree with you that this is an amazing park, and that Bratwurst & fries is the best lunch option ;) I was there in late August for my 2nd visit, and first time riding FLY... I am carrying a few extra pounds at the moment though and it isn't the most comfortable ride in the world if you're a bit on the heavy side. Still impressive though! But this visit I developed a real love for Black Mamba that I didn't have last time... the speed at the bottom of that first drop is amazing! And I love their chair swing over the fountain, just feel like a big kid everytime I ride that :D
loving every bit of this series so far! too bad about on ride povs in this specific vlog though. i have a feeling you guys will end this trip with a visit to DLP. i can just feel it!

I have to disagree, every time I've been on Galactica I've gotten "airtime" in the hill before the portal and the hills towards the end of the ride where I was lifted into the back of my seat, it's my favourite part of the ride

I always appreciate your optimism and honesty about parks, but after today I can’t believe it about Phantasialand. It was my first visit in 18 years and I hate the park as a whole. I got lost every 4 minutes because directions missed and the park was inaccurate. Most of the rides are old and shakey or just painful, looking at you Winja’s and Colorado Express. I’m 6’1 and had issues in Raik, Chiapas(just simply stuck!) and FLY (what a shite ride!). Only Taron and Maus au Chocolat could really entertain me! But your vlogs always keep entertaining, Shawn!
i don't know if you have footage of this or not that got edited out but i've been trying to figure out how chiapas restrains work and i can't find a single videos that shows it, so if you could maybe include that in another video or an instagram story that would be awesome, i do like to see how a ride restrains work i guess that's the geek in me, great vlog as always
A nicely pruned bush always enhances the ambiance and overall experience.

European parks are much better at theming, than parks in the rest of the world ;-)
