Seeing all of that mid level frequency detail being sculpted in action was super informative, and not something I've seen in a lot of your other videos. Great stuff. Can't wait for more.
Would love if you guys keep up these kind of projects. Maybe a new one each couple months or something, in between whatever other videos you're going to do. Just watching experienced artists work is a wonderful thing to learn from.
Thank you guys for making these awesome videos, they are very informative and inspiring as i continue to learn sculpting . The work you guys do is incredible , i cant wait to get into z brush.
Awesome video, definitely wanna see the substance tutorial for this guy. Also please please please make the Mari tutorial happen, I've been waiting for a couple of years as well haha Thank you guys for doing what you do!!!
Hi!! I'm new to watching you guys your videos are amazing. I'm sorry if you get asked about this a lot, but what's the mod to get the human face gizmo in the top right of the screen to look like that?
Awesome tutorial! thanks. may I ask you how much learning anatomy is important to become a good creature designer?! I mean it should be learned in depth or just basic?!
Thanks! It's important that you at least know the basics. Creatures are very much based on human anatomy and knowing it will make your sculpts much better
Hey guys amazing sculpt, you truly captured the essence of a clicker. In terms of doing a future gnarly sculpt would you consider doing a Deadite? The new Evil Dead film drops next month, and the franchise has always had a unique array of zombie and creature designs. Thanks for all of your content
great video,, how did you change the planes gizmo on the top right corner to a realistic head instead of the default simple one,, thanx: also would love to see you texture this
@@FlippedNormals im asking whether the retopo mesh supposed to be watertight mesh ..like the body mesh and neck mushroom joined together... Or I should keep them separate
Awesom. These guys are so good that this real time sculpting totally look like time-lapse.
its definitely a time-lapse! still awesome fast work in 3-4 hrs
Flipped Normals is back on UA-cam! Yeah! :D
I missed these kind of videos where the two of you talk about your sculpting approach. It is soo valuable
Awesome! We just launched a new sculpting video you might like :D

I would love for you guys to do a video specifically on figure sculpting. There’s lots of videos on anatomy but not enough on capturing gesture
Oh interesting!
Great sculpt!
Thanks!
cool! looks simple and fun to do!
Oh it’s everything but simple 😳
Haha! The techniques are simple, just takes a little practice
@@bodhiwijn exactly what flippednormal said. If you know the basics it's really simple and fun to do :) that big shapes are all very recognizable.
It looks so damn cool, I'd definitely like to see more gnarly zombie style characters from you guys! You're the best❤
Thanks Eugene! We released the texturing part yesterday too, which you might like :D
@@FlippedNormals oh yeah! I'm definitely going to watch that too! Thanks a lot for your work

We have to convince Henning somehow to get started on that Mari tutorial...
You guys make it look easy but when I open zbrush it becomes confusing 😕
Just practice practice practice my friend
I have never understood zBrush either
Great video and concept sculpt, can you do a video on skin texturing using both clay buildup and alphas and your theory behind your method.
Amazing sculpt. Click click :D.
im glad you mentioned that 11:31 😂
Where can I find that Camview Model you are using here? Looks so much better
I was thinking the exact same thing.

Welcome back!

Hi, do you have a full tutorial on AAA character modeling in maya and zbrush .
Mr. Walnut. Cool!
What did they use to render out the turntable at the end
Fantastic! 😁👌
Thank you!
Can I do this type of sculpting for a future facial animation model too or do I have to do something differently?
The main difference is that you'll have to do topology by hand as this is Zremeshed.
@@FlippedNormals Ok, Thank you!! 🥰

Are you guys going to be painting it in Substance or Polypaint in Zbrush?

🔥🔥🔥
How do you retopo this for animation
No different than any other mesh.
Simple and rough topo first, then start adding more complex details
@@FlippedNormals im asking whether the retopo mesh supposed to be watertight mesh ..like the body mesh and neck mushroom joined together... Or I should keep them separate
That is not a 30 min sculpt
It can be!
They said it took like 3.5 hours, it's just sped up
:D
You made that look so damn easy....lol. it's so not.
Takes practice, that's true
first xddd
Congratulations what did you win?
The internet
Perfect work
Thanks a lot 😊
