It's easy to overlook 9:06 - 9:08, where you quickly and easily pulled that thick bar weighing 3/4 of your bodyweight to your shoulders without straps, with small hands, in the middle of a conversation, without thinking about it. I watched it three times and its still hard to believe how easily you did that. I'm not a strongman competitor, but I'm at least a foot taller than you and twice your weight, with big hands. I'd have to pull 180 to my shoulders with a thicker bar to equal your lift. Even using the same size bar I couldn't come close to doing that. I couldn't even do it with a normal bar on a good day. Much respect! 🙂

FYI, the shortest competitor who made top 10 at world's strongest Man was actually 5 ft 3. He came dead last so Mitchell's point is not exactly proven wrong but it is possible to get somewhere in the sport

I saw this fellow on tv on a condensed version of The World's Strongest Man competition not long ago. He's a Beast! And repped Canada 🇨🇦 extremely well!! Winning that round of the competition...some serious lifting going on...beyond belief almost! So, it's kinda cool you're pairing up with him in a workout, Taylor👍 I think you'd do well in the under 64kg category. You've got some thickness all through your frame. So, no doubt you could compete. It would just be familiarizing with the events. And proportionately...I think if you're right there with taller people. If you were 6"-10" taller, you're muscle mass would would be greater bc of the extra height. Am I right?
Like the video. Though I think there were way too many cuts and it was quite jarring if I'm being honest. Even though the cuts are very short in length I think the video could really do without them to make it feel more cohesive.

Thanks to you both and will tennyson i am hitting the gym 6 days a week doing push pull legs cycle with swimming i am pushing myself to swim 1kmh a session P.S i was 305lbs when i started and now i’m 275 i have been doing this journey for 1.5 months so far i gained 140lbs after a work injury i was out of work for a year thanks for the motivation love your work

@@thor498 Just a little, highly efficient muscle lady. I'm happy when people succeed. :) I think it mainly just sounds weird to me because as a 5'8 man, I operate at a different scale. The lightest I've ever been as a teenager or adult is 140 lbs, and I was skinny. Truly. Not shredded, but I was small and had very little muscle. Now I'm around 170 and pretty lean, and I've still got quite a ways to go. The estimate I'm going with says I could have enough muscle to be 205 at 12% bodyfat one day.
