Another lovely video Louise and what a wonderful treat to see along the way. I never saw this in all my years growing up in a Dorset! Very funny about the village having no internet - why doesn’t this surprise me ! Maybe it’s a good thing. Also there is something really lovely and relaxing seeing these villages out of season without the tourist hoards - one of the best times to go in my opinion. Happy Channelversary too! More fab videos to come !! 🤗
Thanks so much Alex! Yes, I agree about it being relaxing seeing these villages out of season. The natural beauty of the places really shines through even more! Love that word Channelversary! Thanks so much! 🤗
What a lovely video Louise. That gimbal is good! I loved the sunlight, the sea, the sweet little calf and the anchor from the MSC Napoli. I remember watching that story on TV. Congratulations and Happy First Birthday to SW Sundays and our special presenter. I was chuckling away when you were nibbling. 😊🎂
Haha 😆 I seem to often eat in my videos 😂 The cake and gingerbread man were both so good! Good old Greggs!! I had not heard about the MSC Napoli before. Thanks for the congratulations! The first year of UA-cam has flown by and I have really loved it!!
PENBLWYDD HAPUS A LLONGYFARCHIADAU ! One year on UA-cam :) Another lovely tour Louise, loved Beer Head where you had great views of the sea with the gingerbread man ! We used to give cuttlefish to our budgies too :) Seaton Hole looks so gorgeous at the top and I agree with you that autumn walks are the best . The under cliffs walk was so nice too especially where you sat on the beach with your celebration cake and i really liked the cave hole you walked through. When you got to Brandscombe Mouth it was lovely to see the new born calf, what a privilege and that yellow thatched tea room was stunning. Thanks for another lovely well explained tour :) ~ Anna 👍
Diolch yn fawr iawn Anna!! It really was such a special walk on a gorgeous day! I love it when I come access something extra special like that calf! It really was such a privilege to witness! Louise
Thank you Phil! It really is a beautiful part of the world! The calf was so cute! A miniature version of her mum. It was captivating to watch and quite exciting!
You asked about the knobbles in the chalk. They are flint made of silica when acids produced by such as algae decomposing form the flint from the chalk. Many buildings in the UK south are made from these very hard flints and people used flint flakes as knives and arrow heads before metals were discovered. Re the newborn calf. I must have seen a lot being born but it never ceases to bring joy to my mind to see them struggle but quickly learn to walk. It seems the new born animals also feel joy because even before they can walk properly they feel the urge to skip - just as this one did. I spend much time in the Spring watching lambs gambolling.
Oh wow! That’s really interesting about the knobbles! Thank you for explaining! That’s a lovely thought about the calves and other new born animals feeling joy and skipping before they can walk properly. I had lot thought about that before, but it makes sense. So lovely!
Well the gingerbread man didnt make it very far did he 😂😂 Lovely video and again I do appreciate how you give the viewer a good idea of the terrain your walking. And what a wonderful surprise it was seeing that new born calf making its first steps. Anyway lovely video again.
Truly excellent! You have just published your finest video to date Louise, and, fittingly it was on your channel 1st birthday 🎂 Here's to many more. So much in this that I enjoyed - tremendous, not least of which that new born calf. I really liked the overall feel of this - it felt cosy, somehow, not an easy thing to achieve, but you certainly did. Tremendous! Cheers, Paul 🙂👍
Thanks so much Paul!! Wow! What a fantastic comment! It’s lovely to know how it came across from a viewer’s perspective! Thank you! I love learning and improving my videos each time I do one. So pleased that that seems to be paying off. Really nice to know that it came across as cosy too 🤗 Thank you!
Such a lovely Sunday morning treat to watch Louise! The calf taking it's first steps was amazing, how lucky to have experienced that! Really enjoyed the views on your walk. Yummy gingerbread man and cake! Happy channel anniversary!! Keep up the great work with your thoroughly enjoyable videos! You see so few telephone boxes these days! 🎉
Thanks you so much Amanda! It was absolutely wonderful seeing the calf take its first steps and I loved watching it meet its cousins and older members of the herd. Yes, the views were so no stunning and spectacular! I adore the Jurassic Coast. 🌊
Thanks you very much Caroline 🤗 🎉 This year of video making has gone so fast! I love doing it! Beer is so beautiful and I don’t think it would have changed much. Pleased that it brought back memories for you 🤗
Thank you Faith!! It really was stunning and I was so blessed to have such a sunny day. It was the only day I had available to me to film so I was really delighted with the weather! Thanks for UA-cam birthday greetings too! Louise
Hello my friend. I enjoyed watching it from beginning to end. walking by the sea is great, very beautiful places. how cute is the little calf :) thank you for the nice walk. keep in touch please 👍
Another fantastic video. I have a gimbal for my Sony ZV1 & I know they can a pain to set up but the results are worth it. Your shots were lovely & smooth with no shake at all. We've been to Seaton a few times but not walked any of this coastline. It's very beautiful. Your filming & commentary were good. The calf trying to stand up was magical. New subscriber here. 🙂
Thanks so much Martin! That’s great to know! I will keep persevering with it! I really like how smoothly it makes the shots come out. Oh that calf was so adorable! I love watching those images back! So special! Thank you so much for subscribing too 🤗
