I have this exact same model for 6 years and still love it, I purchased this model for long distance cruising and it hasn't disappointed easy to maintain drives beautifully just what a car should be pure class.
Quality review as always Barrie 👍🏻, always loved this generation of the XF especially the facelift model and the sportbrake model that you have there. simply stunning
Fantastic review! Looking for one of these soon in sedan form. Probably will the 197bhp be enough but you van always get extra 50 bhp in a remap. And better fuel consumption as well.
@@BarrieCrampton Sounds about right judging by the Seat Leon estate, Dacia Sandero and the blue Toyota that jumped the lights in this video!!! Great review and lovely Jaguar XF :) Also Headlamp wash is great but I really miss headlamp wipers from the 80's and 90's. Wish manufacturers would bring them back!!!
Kevin Smith its a nightmare round here, and yes the good old days, however when i think back to 1976 and i was on a stand at the Royal Lancashire Show with the New Opel Ascona and Manta which had just come out with headlamp wipers and we were next to the beer tent, at that time drunks were fascinated with the wipers and i spent all day telling them to clear off
@@BarrieCrampton Yep it's amazing how drunks get fixated on things ha ha. Love the Opel Manta especially the older ones. Maybe you could buy some modern classics to sell at your garage. I think it could be an interesting sideline for you?
Does this have the Aluminium body? Is the Aluminium just bodywork or he underneath frame work . I’ve read the shooting have hard seats compared with saloon?
speed Toks i like Jags, i think you get more car for your money and i prefer the way they drive over the BMW, that being said i think a Mercedes would hold its value better, and is perhaps made better too
So I've just got to check you said that your going to tax it when you get back So. 1st there's no tax on the car and your driving around 2nd I take it you sell cars so why would you be driving around everywhere when your trying to sell it
1st we have trade plates which cover us for business use, but the car was so nice to drive i decided to use it for my daily driver 2nd I don’t like walking! 3rd Give my regards to Hugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub 😂

Thanks

Nice car. What is the fuel economy in real life?
Lovely cars but the 2.2 4 cylinder engine a little harsh against the 3.0 6 cylinder
I agree, but it goes as fast as you need and is pretty economical
If it was your money what would you choose 2.2 or 3.0 v6??
Thanks.
the 2.2 would be ideal for me
Just looked at the car stats mot till next year but wants shocks done one leaking a little bit , that’s not mentioned,,lovely car though,,
We didn’t mention it in the video because when we sold the car 3 years ago they were ok 😂
great review, but you need t put your chair much more to the steering wheel or to the pedals
Thanks for watching, but im good where i am!
