- An illustration of the effect of too long a gauge line. Using any type of chuck, the gauge line or programming length on BT30 machines creates vibration in milling. The integrated BT30 with Coromant EH coupling and CoroMill® 316 managed 4.5 times higher depth of cut, improving metal cutting efficiency and reducing tool costs.

Those least two passes you could see the chips turning blue in the air. That was some serious cutting. I'm amazed everytime I watch this stuff.
Well that sure woke me up this morning!
Same.
Oh that 9mm depth of cut was so smooth. great video. i wonder how the vibration effects the life of the spindle bearings..
Damages it, ran zimmerman f37s and f33s and they would stop as soon as they felt small vibrations unlike Haas or moris
Outstanding, always ahead!!
Sold!
The non-Hydraulic Chucks make the sounds of nightmares!
Impressive.
Precioso

Wow grate 👍👏
What is the run out at 3*D on the integrated tool holder? I can't find it anywhere.
Has BT30 been discontinued? I cannot find it, whats the part code for it?
Allllllll Aboard! The inserts and the corners on solid tool might have been destroyed by that short cut... ouch

send me one for a Bridgeport mill to try
Ouch my ears!
R.I.P Spindle 😬
Nice trick. Shortening the holder in the last slot. I almost overlook it...
There is no trick.
How are they tricking you? They literally label it the short and long versions...
dafuq...
my poor wallet. oh well. more than make it back with the reduced cycle times and increased throughput. at least until the customer comes back and demands a price cut sufficient that I am paying them for the privilege of running their parts.....lol
ear rape WARNING 😫🦻
Or just don’t buy a bt30 machine
One of the most productive machines you can own.
sry, but that couldn`t be good. Those noises are horrible, turn down the spindle speed and the forward speed ! And you`ll get nearly the same thing.
yeah but you need more time to machine the part ;)
Derp. "Slow it down." Literally the entire point of this is to show that you can go faster. time is money.
