  • Are they going to be the best thing ever? Maybe. Will they replace all of the Crypt Ghouls? Not quite. What they will do in Morgaunt armies is act as a Battleline option if you don't fancy painting 60 Ghouls or 9 Crypt Horrors. Flesh Eater Courts armies regardless will want at least a couple of units to keep your squishier smaller heroes safe and sound for all those folks out there who don't understand just how noble they are.
Thanks to Games Workshop for sending me the Flesh Eater Courts army set early to build up and paint for you! I've been having a blast with it and there's only a few more videos left to go! Give me more FEC!

I came looking for a good way to make the flag a flayed skin color and this seems about what i was looking for.
I am doing a more cold frosty blue for my ghoul army, but a more fleshy flag with a ting of blue would be nice I think, so this helps as a base. Thanks!

I prefer this tone of flesh over the greenish one. Is it for some subfaction? Im no expert in fec lore

These are a subfaction to the courts that is based out of Shyish, it's why they have such pallid skin, and they view their realm to be green and beautiful rather than a realm of death.

Love the colour scheme I can’t even get the white scar prime on evenly 😢

I’d recommend using a darker white primer like wraithbone or grey seer, then layering with a brighter white. In my experience wraithbone and grey seer primer goes on better than white scar.

I know it's a long shot for you to reply. For Your 1:1 mix of Agrax Earthshade, and medium do you use the palette paper or something else? Do you find the paper makes it dry out? I'm new and just trying to learn. Thank you!

I do indeed use Palette paper. I use the slightly glossy stuff from Games Workshop but any old glossy paper will do. The paper doesn’t absorb the paint so helps the paint staywetter for a little bit longer!

i wonder how they make the blue skin from the artbox, was hoping you'd do the same, instead of giving them human skin.

It must be a real slog layering pallid wych flesh over all the skin after shading it. That color always behaves strangely it’s so thin it almost needs to be glazed on. Unfortunately I can never get it to look right so I’ve been using rakarth flesh instead, over a shade of dread visage contrast on the skin

does your technice look similar? I try diffrent one so my ghouls are all pale but with diffrent skin colors.

Should be able to drybrush the pallid wych flesh on, and then hit a second light drybrush of white.

good call! Especially if using this skin recipe on the ghouls...oof.. but depending on how many of these guys one plans on having - a unit or two may not be the worst thing to layer up. @@buitreofficial7765
