Thank you for all your tutorials, they have completely supported me getting back into painting, I don't know what I'd do without them. Any chance at a Seraphon Bastiladon at some point? Pretty please? Seriously though, thank you!
It's no Gore Grunta, but it will do. Question though, what made you pick Baal Red over other reds like Flesh Tearer (I'm leaning towards Flesh Tearer myself)
It was to avoid having to deal with potential coffee staining from Flesh Tearers that can happen when painting something of this size. Baal Red you don’t have to think too hard about it as you apply it on account of it being a single pigment contrast paint.
@@Warhipster That makes complete sense, well, thank you for the video, I'm eagerly awaiting my delivery of this chonky boy and I cannot wait to put him together! Love the videos man keep it up!
Ive always been so curious as to what makes people use Leadbelcher over Iron Warriors or vice versa. Or Iron Hands Steel over Leadbelcher or vice versa.
Lamihan Medium is shade without pigment. Helps thin down any paint to a shade consistency. Contrast is contrast paint without pigment (Color) helps thin contrast paints without making them watery.
I love the Stormcast Eternals. I bought Ionus an he is my first Big Model. So how do you guys prime this model? All parts individually or the whole model after building it?
I prime the whole thing after I build it. It models like this with a rider some folks will prime each separately and once they are completely painted glue them together. That’s what I did with my stormdrake guard units.
I'm very charmed by this miniature! Just take a look: - there were Dragons in the old fantasy world. 🐉 - Space Marine Chaplains live in 40k Galaxy. 💀 - But only Warhammer Age of Sigmar helped them finally find each other! 💞
Kind of a silly question. I want to paint black armor that has some green undertones when hit by light. Do you think painting a dark green undercoat (maybe like with dark angels contrast paint) and then black templar it would look good? I've seen it done with purple for the Shadowkeepers video, so I wonder if instead of purple it will work with green.
If you select the High Definition light either the table one or the floor one it’s an option as you pick the bits you want for the light such as colour etc etc. like an optional extra for the product as it were
Looks excellent you’re a master with Contrast paints!
Lovely, lovely sculpt
Another amazing paint job Josh - I love it and can't wait for mine to arrive
And my evening is set. Was waiting for this since the stream.
Just finished mine using this video ! Such a beauty thanks a lot 😉
Following the turorial to paint my Ionus. Wouldn't mind if you did a tutorial to paint his other riders according to the box art.
would be so great Josh!

My ionus is so nice following your tuto, thx alot Josh! Would be so nice if you could make stormdrake like dawnbringer ionus box!
I hope you can get to paint his two companions that come along with him. I wonder how they would look like painted up. Keep it up!

Looking good! Have you ever considered painting Nagash?! I’m looking for a good tutorial (contrast) but can’t find any…
Looks cool 👍
Looking forward towards belthanos.

I was super surprised to see THIS figure on the GW website
I am working on a red dragon, going to follow this!
Love the paint as always - Will there be a Belthanos video ? - please 😅
Give it 90 minutes and you can be the first to watch it tonight!
@@Warhipster you are the man ❤️
Thanks a lot for all your tutorials, it's so helpful!
Will you do a tutorial for Belthanos, the new Sylvaneth heroe?
Is it possible to leave the rider off?
Beautiful,
did you have any problems painting this guy fully assembled?
My store has been out of Stirland Battlmire and Mud for 2 years. No b.s.
what is the different between lament medium and contrast medium???
Lamihan Medium is shade without pigment. Helps thin down any paint to a shade consistency. Contrast is contrast paint without pigment (Color) helps thin contrast paints without making them watery.

GW are releasing stuff either so fast or availability is so poor that i completely forgot this model was released
My wallet says they are releasing stuff fast
Another masterpiece, congratuations! Though i despise Stormcasts with all my heart, i must admit that this model is something special.

Iirc there's a guide on either the soulblight vampire kit or the cursed city watch commander skeleton that might be similar to watch you were saying.
I want to buy those lights, but I cant find the double one on the page linked! :|
