For the most part, the HGAC kits are based on the TV version.
I also don't like how the TV version XXXG-01H Gundam Heavyarms [TV] equips its weapon.
I expect we'll get an HGAC XXXG-01H2 Gundam Heavyarms Custom [TV] in 2021.
Personally, I prefer the 'EW' versions from the manga 'Glory of the Losers' so I have the MGs:

XXXG-01H Gundam Heavyarms EW [Igel Armament]
XXXG-01H2 Gundam Heavyarms Custom EW

Anyway, yea... The way the gattling gun is equipped never made any sense. Also, I think the HGAC XXXG-01H Gundam Heavyarms [TV] wasn't able to recreate the gimmick where the beam saber is hidden in the gattling gun arm.
