- This was a feature shoot for this truck named Homecutt. The truck was built at home hence the name. Homecutt is a 1987 Chevrolet C-10 it has a LT-1 fuel injected motor out of a Camaro, air ride suspension, stock floor body drop, and fully shaved body. All shot with hacked gh2. Hi all, great videos. Thanks for sharing. Hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. My brother and I were supposed to fix up is 82 c10 and we were going to build a bike together so we could ride together once he moved out west to get a fresh start. He has always been into cars and motorcycles, I have also but don't have the skill set he did. He was ran over while on his chopper at a red light, was in the hospital for a while then and put on pain meds. He got hooked on the pain meds and then got his settlement and then tried something more and OD'd. He just turned 35. I had his plane ticket booked then got a call from my parents he was dead 2 days later. Never felt pain like this. He bought this 82 c10 that we were supposed to build and I have to be honest with myself that I would never be able to do what he could or any of these people I am watching online. But I cant sell his truck or junk it, I have to get it done in his memory and could use some help. I am in San Francisco California and my brother was in Buffalo NY. My dad says the truck has to go because every time my mom walks out and sees it she falls apart. Is there anyone interested in a project, I have the pictures of what we were sending back to each other on ideas. Essentially a flat black rat rod on air suspension, red rims, big whitewalls and chrome dome hubs. If anyone would be interested in this project or can point me in the right direction that would help a lot. Its very overwhelming, I cant let this truck go. I could use some help. I have no idea what a project like this would cost but hope its not expensive, someone said since its an old truck and not a lot of the electrical stuff these new trucks have that it should be straight forward. I would be very grateful for any help with this.

That's the first thing I noticed. Both doors are that way so I was thinking they painted them separate or had the doors laying flat when they painted them. It's a beautiful truck though. I'm in the middle of building a K10. Love how they look on the ground too.

your truck is ridiculously awesome! I have an 86 c10 project with 22s and air ride. Do you have any trouble steering with the tires tucked at ride height? I'm trying to spec out some shocks but it seems like I am either going to be laying frame and having a low ride height or riding a little higher and being one or two inches off the ground with the bags deflated.
No I dont and this truck has shocks all the way around

i dont know depends on if you do all the work yourself if you have to get the work done then 20k is not near enough. there is over 5k just in the interior of this truck
