As a fellow garage fab'r myself. I just have to tell I love every video you make. Your content is pure gold. Even when I already know how to do what your teaching, the way you explain it just cements it in to my brain. I wake up everyday with the "keep moving forward" mentality. I wish I had the courage to get in front of the camera. Thank you so much. For everything.
Yes!!! That’s what I like to hear, David. Any amount of progress is good progress. As for the “courage”… that’s not something I have. If you were to meet me in person, I’d be a completely different person. Shy, quiet, shy, awkward, shy… I could NOT film any of this if someone else was in the room. That said, if you think this kind of thing would be fun, I encourage you to give it a shot.
Thank you Brother!
Your channel's gonna blow up at some point bro. Good work, Fun to watch, Handy tips, with no BS mixed in.. and some light humor in there to top it off
He's 100% right.
Thank you both! Hopefully there will be millions and millions of dollars to fund hundreds UA-cam of projects!
I actually thought it was some huge channel already until I read this
Haha! I pretend there are millions of eyes watching me be a moron. That way I’m used to it by the time it actually happens.
@@GarageFab best of luck mate. Doing a great job. I wish you well from Australia
Jelly of Keith and the wifey!!! I enjoy the series! You’re work is always 🤩😎!!! Hope you all are feeling better!
So much better, thank you, Heidi!
Welcome back, we missed you!
It feels good to be back, Don!
The cruising clip towards the end of the video was pretty sick!!!
Thank you! I love that truck!
I could watch that Chevy slow roll alllll day! Awesome stuff brother!
As could I! Thank you, my man. 🙏
New to the channel, but loving every episode. You make it easy for the average dude to properly understand shit!. Awesome 👌
Thrilled to have you my man! See you in the next one tomorrow… er, THIS morning! 🙌
I enjoy short series like this. I think you should build a 4x4 Econoline next😂.
Jason
Well, Jason, It can’t be the NEXT project. I’ve already bought two donor vehicles for the next project. I’m pretty sure my Wife would like them out of the front yard. That would be a fun series of videos though. We’ll revisit that thought after a while.
@@GarageFabNothing says class like Yard Art😂.
That’s a nice way of putting it.
I'm glad your video made it into my feed. Even though it was 10 months ago. I have a 68 C10 longbed that I want to slam. I'm not a bad mechanic but I'm no fabricator. Great work and thanks for the video.
Yes! Lemme know how things go. If you get stuck, you know where to find me. Best of luck!
Thanks for the added effort to replace the lost video.
My pleasure, Jonathan. I appreciate your appreciation!
Outstanding, as usual. I always enjoy your fab work, the editing - (especially the B-roll), the high-humored commentary and music. I always get stoked when I see a new GF video in my notifications. Dude, the time, effort and materials it took to build the example setup was over and above what any other creator would have done for their viewers. Just one more example of why this is the best fab channel on da tubes Aaron!
To answer your question, YES, I'd like to see more of these types of series.
You should set up a way for your viewers to support your efforts.
I'm not a man of means but I'd gladly throw a few bucks a month your way, as I'm sure some of your other viewers would as well.
Your content has legit value. How your numbers haven't blown up YET is a mystery to me.
Glad you're feelin better. That voice on your short video was epic. Thanks for sharing it - lol.
Be well.
UA-cam has been way harder than I expected. I thought it would be a fun way to pass time and somehow it became a second full time job. Your comments, TeeJay, are always a great reward. Just hearing someone appreciates the effort is payment enough.
I will certainly have a merch shop at some point, but the urgency is really low. Honestly a shop feels like a way of asking for money which feels gross to me. The Garage Fab community is the main goal right now. To build a group of people that are willing to help one another out when I can’t, sounds incredible! At some point, I hope it’s clear that it’s not about the money for me. And THEN! a shop would be a way for people to show others the community that they’re proudly a part of.
So for now… Just keep tuning in. And know that I appreciate you more for spending your time here than I would if you were spending your money.
Thank you TeeJay!
Oh! And feeling much better. Got my girly voice back finally.
Great series. I really enjoyed watching. I have a similar style setup on my 65 GMC project. Mine differs in that my bags are on the lower bars outside of the frame, with triangulated uppers inside the frame. I like your design and how you problem solved and worked around conflicting components. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Will! I’m a little jelly of all you old truck guys. I’m gonna have to add a 60s truck to my list of future projects.
Cheers mate!
I like the way you supported the square tube. Looks robust and well executed.
Thank you, Will! They certainly were heavy! 😬
Great job you inspire us old folks
Thank you, Casey! I’m an old folks too I think.
Now take that inspiration and get in the garage this weekend!
Any content is awesome .love the work you are doing
Thank you Al! I appreciate you.
Definitely appreciate you going the extra mile to recreate the missing footage. 👍
I’d say my pleasure but… What the heck, my pleasure Albert! The channel kinda falls apart of I can’t show everything.
I appreciate you back my man. 🙏
I'm definitely going to start using that chamfering trick to install sleeves in the future.
Try and find that 45° chamfer bit! The ball nose was ok but it removed a lot of the weld.
When I’m in shop fab’g, love having good tunes…and on these videos, you sure have some good tunes going on! 👍
Sigh. 😩 I remember rocking out in the garage to good tunes before UA-cam. Now that I film my work, I can’t listen to copyrighted music when the camera is rolling. Thank you Steve! 🙏
Thanks for this series! Love your work, love the truck! Yes, I would like to see more short series videos - actually I like anything you do. You’re an excellent teacher.
Thank you Robert! I’ll be looking into picking up some smaller projects just for the sake of videos. 🙌
Definitely ready for mighty max content!
Excellent me too, Jarret!
Man, your channel is great! Would love to see tons of mini-series videos. Thanks for great lessons and for keeping it positive! Keep moving forward!
I really enjoyed this short series. I found your problem solving with link bars very interesting. I'm also looking forward to seeing more on the mighty max. Thanks for taking the time to share.
Thank you Ronald! We will be getting back on the Mightymax immediately. Next stop front suspension!
Downright surgical bro. I lost almost all of the remaining footage I took of assembling my plasma table to. I did however get the most critical I think. Anyway happens to the best of us. Bitchen video as always bro!
Dude! If you can figure out how to never lose footage again, please share! I expect to find it in some strange folder some day.
Looking forward to seeing Brother!
This was a fantastic series!!! I already can't wait for the next video :D
Thank you, Nick! I’m already working on it. I’ve also got to clean out the garage. Things have gotten a little out of hand over the last couple months. 😬
Mancandy work ethic: “Customer can jump this thing for all I care. I’m not worried about warranty issues.”
You’re not wrong. There’s nothing good about parts breaking on the freeway. I’d be a terrible race car builder but a fantastic tank builder. 😉
Great video as always. Definitely enjoy the content whether it's a build series on location or from the homestead shop.✌😁
Thank you Jason! I’m gonna try to avoid the “location” projects from now on. They made for good UA-cam, but I didn’t enjoy myself very much. 😂
C/10s are my fav so seeing my favorite UA-cam series tackle a project on one was awesome! Thanks for the content!
Thank you, Brandon! That means a lot to me! My pleasure my man. See you in the next. 👊
Dude - short series, long series, iPhone Siri, we just love to watch you build sh!t and explain it! Keep up the fine craftsmanship.
That’s good to hear because the last 3 episodes were 99% iPhone. I expected some hate mail on the diminished quality.
Thank you my friend! 😊
@GarageFab haha, is it bad I didn't see a difference?!? I'm just in it for the fab porn, I'm not counting pixels or judging any color saturation, lol.
Haha! No that’s not bad at all! It’s a lot easier to whip the phone out of my pocket that it is to set up my tripod and wireless mic system. The sound isn’t as good but apparently it’s not bad either!
That came out awesome! Love this channel. Keep’em coming brother.
Thank you, Mike! I’ll keep making them until I can’t make them anymore.
You have given me a wealth of knowledge on suspension to help me build my 1954 GMC 2ton truck. I'm doing a 6x6 triangulated 4 link with air bags.
Ooo! I’d love to see the GMC project! Hopefully you’ll share as you go. Lemme know if you need guidance. Best of luck!
Just glad your. Back and these side jobs are great contents that shows different configurations and think it's good shit. 👍
Thank you, Justin! It’s good to be back. I’m having a good time.
Oh he's gonna get 10" alright..... Well, not from me, but you know! Speaking of short, yes, I love short series like this. Great job as always Aaron.
Just don’t let our hair get tangled together
And as always, thank you, Brother!
Great show, as usual. More mini series like this, Yes please.

I hope he was one happy LR.

Your work is fantastic, I've been following everyone here in Brazil and I've been inspired to also build a project of mine, a c10 1970, keep inspiring us with your exceptional tips!
Nice! I’m looking forward to seeing your progress. Thank you for the kind words my friend! Best of luck.

You are very talented, and I consider you a professional from what I have seen you do on your channel. That rear suspension came out awesome!

Top work again Aaron.
Worth the wait as usual.
Must be hard staying on top of all that footage before editing it all up.
Thank you again, Matthew! Yeah not sure what happened there. I normally have pretty good organization.
As a C-10 fan this was a great series. Of course awesome content. Loyal fan.
Thank you, Jason! Thrilled to have you. See you soon! 🙌
Awesome freaking work as usual!!! These videos are pure gold to me bc I'm about to start work on the suspension to my 1967 F100. Keep up the awesome vids!!!

Awesome channel! Your work is great. Always enjoy watching! Very informative keep up the good work’ Thanks!
Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to watch. 🙌
Short series is great. 30-45 minutes max. Nice work!
Much appreciated, Marty! I gotta be honest, I’m a little jealous of the creators that can create hour long episodes consistently… but then again I don’t have time to watch hour long episodes so why would I make them?
Thank you, Brother!
New subscriber here, wicked channel . So much info and knowledge while being actually funny. props man .Also your pinion angle videos fixed my cars vibration. thank you
What?! Best comment I could’ve received. Sharing knowledge is one thing but solving problems is quite the unexpected reward. Thank you my friend! 🙏 Happy to have you. See you in the next!
All your videos are awesome keep up the good work 👍from Australia
Yes! Still hasn’t got old to hear that these videos are making it that far. Thank you Corina! 🙌
I agree with Logan 100%. Wish you could fab up my car. Awesome videos, can't wait for the Mighty Max!
One day I’ll have a shop large enough to store all y’all’s vehicles. And they can sit and collect dust because I don’t have time for any of them!
I’m kidding of course. There’s enough of that sort of custom shop already.
Thank you my friend!
New subscriber. The algorithm was favorable today and I am becoming familiar with your channel. I subscribed because of your clear articulation, your ability to communicate the complex into understanding {close enough really isn’t good enough}, and your humor.

Great welding mate like watching all your videos keep up the great work
Thank you Wes. Never had one lesson! 😂 I appreciate you my friend.
Man badass work!!! My friend I just subscribed. Keep up the great work and videos!!!
Excellent! Thrilled to have you my man! Thank you for the kind words. 🍻
This is by far the best and most informative channel I have come across. Usually I’ll FFW through a lot b/c I am advanced in my fab skill… on here hell no. I learned a lot in this mini series. Gonna carry a lot of information with me on my Model A coupe build 👍
Excellent! I appreciate that more than you know my friend. Can’t wait to see the build! Best of luck. 🍻
Another awesome video Aaron!! Hope you are feeling better, can’t wait for the next one. These short series vids are fantastic, super detailed and I learn so much with each one. Whatever you make is awesome. I’m getting started with 49-51 Mercury, a video on size of 4 link Dom tubing, choosing bushing size, bushing sleeve size, bag size and where to buy these parts would help me out, likely others too. You the man.
Thank you my friend! I can’t imagine I’ll have the opportunity to make that video. And I’ve done all the linkbars I need to do for a while. Also I’m not really sure people would agree with my opinions on linkbars. I’ll fill you in and then you can make your own decisions. I don’t use DOM tube unless something needs to fit inside like a Heim joint bung. Usually I just use regular mild steel tubing. I use 1.5 inch round tube with eighth wall for non-loadbearing link bars, and 2 inch square tubing with quarter inch wall for loadbearing linkbars (bars I have an air spring or a coilover mounted to them that support the weight of the vehicle.)
I get all my parts from thorbros.com Hope this helps!
Thanks so much, you have no idea how much you have inspired me, keep up the great work!!
Happy to be of service my man!
Excellent work as always
Much appreciated as always, Brother! How are things?
@@GarageFab I’m doing well. My metal art and fab is going slow (my marketing sucks), so looking to go back to work for “the man”. It’s not the worst thing in the world, it gives me options financially, and I can focus on auto resto and customization, with the occasional sculpture, furniture, or fab job. I want to encourage you, as a wise man once said, to “Keep moving forward”. You occupy an interesting niche in this space, a good mix between DIY automotive fabrication and a little comedy. Great technical abilities stemming from your auto tech and custom fab experience, but not afraid to show the flaws. It makes for an interesting story, which is why people watch. You figure out over time what works and what doesn’t based on the analytics. Personally, I watch videos to learn something that I can use in my own fabrications, and the entertainment you provide is an added plus. BTW if I haven’t said this yet, the TPI intake was an excellent choice for induction on your truck. Keep Moving Forward. 👍
Thank you, Brother. 🙏 (I don’t know if I ever bothered to ask your name.) I feel you. Marketing is hard. I chose to be a wedding photographer in the wedding capital of the world. I literally thought failure was impossible. Take good photos and the work will come. Marketing is completely unnecessary. Or so I thought. I’m a mechanic now. 😂
I cannot express how much your words mean to me. The channel is far more work than I ever thought it would be, with next to no compensation. So mere appreciation goes a long way. I hope your move back to the corporate world is painless. I’m consistently working towards moving out on my own, but I know I have it made now with minimal stress, and a stable paycheck. Thank you again my friend. I’m looking forward to hearing more about your journey.
@@GarageFabMy name is Ben. It’s interesting where life takes us. My mom suggested in high school that I go to our local trade school for Automotive Service, but I didn’t want to just fix cars, I wanted to modify. Looking back I should have taken her advice, she knew better, but I was short sighted. Along the way I worked in various industries, and got experience in CNC Machining and Quality Assurance, which I’ll probably be returning to soon. I still play around with the idea of starting a channel, but I don’t want to spend that much time editing, putting out a video once a week. Not ruling anything out though. I encourage you to keep at it if that’s what you want to do, but there’s no shame if you decide it’s not for you. I can see your photographic skills in your videos. Jacob from Puddin’s Fab Shop was in the same boat about 2yrs ago. You can watch the evolution in his videos; he started doing “will it run” videos and has been steadily climbing since, and it’s changed his life. Videos and merch. Fitzee’s Fabrications uses mostly simple tools in his home garage. You’re actually well equipped, so you have increased capabilities. Fitzee only films with his phone and he doesn’t edit. NO EDITING! And over 100k in subs. That’s how I’d do it if I started a channel, but the quality of the videos is definitely better edited. Remember, there’s more than one way to skin a cat. By the way, as I’m writing this a friend just suggested you could possibly get interns from the local college to edit your videos for you. Are you on instagram by any chance?
Love everything you do! Amazingly educational! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge! Keep moving forward! :-)

@@GarageFab yeah I hate not being able to pick something up with my hands.
Thanks for the great series! I always love your videos and I love the way your welds look. Have you ever made a video of your welding techniques? If not could you? Keep up the great work and I'll keep watching the videos.
Thank you Rick! That’s something I get a lot of requests for. I’m honestly kind of uncomfortable handing out welding tips since I’ve never been certified. But then again people are requesting my technique, not necessarily “how to weld”. So you might see that type a video in the future.
@@GarageFab Well it certainly looks like you didn't let not having a certification stop you from becoming an excellent welder and fabricator. Thanks again for the content and looking forward to the technique video.

You are a great Artist.
Professional this professional that the bottom line you're an Artist. Go to see you. Always great video's
Ol got right eye fix left eye wensday. Yeah I'll be able to see and work again. One vacation sucks.
Short series? Well yes of course we'll take more! Personally my favorite welding position is laying under a truck, half way in a suspended sit-up position, head laying on something very uncomfortable, but that's just me lol.
Ah, yes. Whatever position best increases the chances of getting molten metal to drip down my neck or into my sleeve really gets my juices flowing.
Another great video my man. I’m a Ford guy but damn that’s a nice Chevy truck. Looking forward to more Mini Max vids and anything else you come up with.
Gasp! Don’t tell the other Ford lovers. They’ll kick you out of the club.
Thank you, Mikey! Got lots of plans.
I like short series like this one mixed in with the longer term stuff.
Good to hear! I think that will probably be the format. One very large project that could last a year or more. Some projects that can be completed in a few episodes, and the single-episode weekend projects/tips and tricks. Eh?!

What a co-inky-dink, I consider you a professional as well, I think it's catching on. Another great video. Love the short builds, like the mini build. S'all good.
Thank you Clint! If you like the mini build, I got a project for you I think you’ll enjoy in a few weeks. 😈 Thank you, Brother!
I say ot a lot, but this is a great video. Sad that you lost the footage and were not able to show the process, but we know you did an amazing job without seeing it. I like these mini series type videos, but I also like to watch longer videos when the content can support it, so either way is great to me. Looks like it turned out very nicely for sure. Now, let's get back to work on your wife's truck.
Say it all you want, Shawn! It doesn’t get old. There’s a video about bushings that I’ve been wanting to get out of the way for a long time. So I think that one will be next, and then will Mighty Max it up!
Thank you brother!
Great video.
Thank you, Craig!
Awesome....as always.
Thank you my friend! 🙏
Thank you
My pleasure Kevin.
I have been searching for videos on proper bag mount fab and install for days now and our channel is the best one so far. It made me realize I need to put way more thought into converting the vic to air. So I have a few questions: 1. When measuring ride height, should i measure from where I want the new ride height to be? 1.5. How to I measure the ride height? Ive heard from the center hub to the fender or from the lower control arm to where the tire and ground would meet. 2. As part of taking measurments, should i make sure the drive shaft is at zero degrees early on? It seems like, based on your video, that the drive shaft concern was kinda an afterthought ou lucked out on lol
Thks
My pleasure, Peter.

MK; You lost the film of the Dingus weld up! That same thing happens to Bigfoot hunters. Great work! v/r wh
Haha! I’ll be honest with you. (And anyone reading this comment.) I’m not 100% sure I filmed it. That entire project is a blur of constant rushing to get out of the sauna that was Keith’s garage.
I think at some point I was like “Screw this video!”
Thank you William!
I hate welding overhead. I've set myself on fire and I hate the welding slag burns. I try to weld in my jacket but Florida heat and humidity can kill a man.
Yeah, give me a slow death by a million welding sparks. I could not take the Florida weather. 😩
Love it!

@@GarageFab one question as I dig deeper toward planning my own build....why do I rarely see shocks used on bagged trucks?
Laziness! Lack of education! All meanness aside, I’m not sure. I’ve heard the phrase, “You don’t need shocks if you have Slam Specialties bags.”
You always need shocks. Sometimes (pretty much always) it’s a real pain to get shocks that will work with your system. But it’s worth it.
