Those pricey cultural armors are half price in gold from a WvW vendor, the other half is replaced with a bunch of WvW badges, which might or might not be worth it depending on one's activities.
I have some weird armor sets, but still one of the best full armor sets is the Requiem Armor from LWS4, i think there's two types but the upgraded version is pretty much a pseudo legendary set, and looks incredible!
Loved this video. Have been playing for 10 years and this is the video that motivated me to go finish some of these collections. Which will definitely help with my lacking fashion game
the EASIEST CAPE you can get, is , buy the Ritualist Ancient set from Trading Post (total costs would be less than 15G only). then got free cape from achievement. looks pretty cool too and you can dyes it.
Word of warning for those getting the temple armor in Orr: they do not salvage. If you put pricey runes in them, they are lost without you using an upgrade extractor.
Triumphant armor. Part of the WvW legendary armor collection and unlocked with the Triumphant armor reward track in WvW. One reward track per piece. Honorable mentions (not core): Ornate guild armor. Not the hole set, but for mixing and matching. You need to be in a guild that has progressed the guild hall a certain amount to be able to buy the recipes, and as good looking as these pieces are, I don't see them very often. Mistward armor. Heavy only and you level up a Revenant to get it. I see this a lot and for good reason. Blossoming Mst Shard armor if you want to erm... stick out. Literally. Requires Living World S4.
One of the easiest to obtain armor sets is the Requiem armor set from LWS4. If you purchase the expansion and complete the "A Star To Guide Us" achievement, you can one weight set of this armor for free and it looks gorgeous.
No mention of the Dragonfall heavy armour set? Easily the sexiest non-revealing heavy armour set on human/norn females. The only roadblock to getting the entire set would be the achievement for doing the bridges on Dragonfall.
5:40 cost of cultural armour: tier 3 cultural armour is quite expensive but the drain on your gold purse can be lowered significantly by buying them in WvW if you have enough _Badges of Honour_ to spare.
2:19 If you have a nice leg piece then the chest pieces of very left one and the very right one would be nice looking too^^ 7:12 except the chest piece I believe. You can only get the chest piece from the drop of the night bosses by chance or the meta reward chest from T4 night + 100% map participation
I'm having a hard time finding videos showing how dyes looks on outfits. I can't preview it in game for some reason, I've heard that they do have 4 dye channels tho.
flame legion coat (medium) armor kinda looks cool and you get 1 peace of armor that covers 3 (4 if you count the shoulder) pieces of armor in one you acquire this one in lions arch by the Dungeon Delving currency same part as the flame citadel dg btw Arah is the easiest e.e
I fitted out my trick or treat farming thief in the lunatic court armour (as it's a character created for farming Mad King's Labyrinth) and was standing in Divinity Reach and some "high end, Hollywood" types said I looked like I was trying to be Justin Timberlake and I was a lamo. PS Feel free to create an elementalist and call him, "Evan Hawke" and name your son "Ebon Hawke"
I would love to see a video that doesn't talk about the full armor sets, but instead what are some of the best/easiest armors to COMBINE so they look good together.
Do you have a community discord or anything? I know that can be a decent time sink, but curious cause I've seen your videos a bunch now. Just subscribed finally!
no unfortunately I don't, for that exact reason too. I just don't have to time to figure that out and set that up. Although I have been thinking about starting a guild to serve a similar purpose at least
Looking at it looks like backpack is Warbringer (WvW legendary backpack), helm was dark Templar (hidden, you see it later at the end of vid), shoulders are hound skin, chest looks like Crucible of Eternity dungeon skin, legs are maybe dark Templar as well and legs I can’t see well enough to say. Maybe war beast boots?
a search thought the wiki got me the following: Light Asura armour Mantle and Chest are Armor of the Lich Pants are Flame Legion Have not found the gloves nor boots, sorry :/
My best guess would be, Head- Canthan sun hat Shoulders- Ancient Canthan spaulders Chest- Jade tech cuirass Gloves- Foefire wraps Legs- Jade tech heavy legs Boots- Foefire greaves Back- White feather wings Who ever this is dyed it really well to get that cool black and white look!
Aurora set is really pretty. And 250k karma is nothing. Basically a week of regular wvw. Nightmare court armor from Twiligt Arbor are just awesome. Like sylvari cultural. It is just the best. Winged is sexy af. Requiem is nice, but it makes your feet look smelly. Warbeast is a great set - apart from making your feet like you have split hoves like a goat. WVW and PVP armor. Eh. Meh.
Torso and pants are the Decade set Helm is Lightning eyes (forgot the actual name) gemstore item gloves and boots are etherbound set shoulders are waterdragon gemstore item
you forgot the MOST HIGH VALUED EXCLUSIVE armor set its the SEVEN REAPERS set you can purchase it in BLACK LION EXCLUSIVE CHESTS for 600-900 gold per piece!
GW2 has some of the most boring fashion I've ever seen. Many people just go all black. Many go all white. And get this, many people go.... wait for it.... black and white! I feel like 95% of all players have their endgame in fashion be either a demon, an angel, or some sort of deity- and it is so boring, uninspired, and pervasive. I'll stick with my badass traditional char that uses 18 different dyes in 22 dye slots.
I have to say the most beautiful fashion I saw was from the guy on the right talking into a microphone. That is one handsome man.
-_-
Evan does indeed look like John Cusack
Fashion wars is the real end game.
this is the way
Stacking Infusiones ;)
Those pricey cultural armors are half price in gold from a WvW vendor, the other half is replaced with a bunch of WvW badges, which might or might not be worth it depending on one's activities.
yes that's true! Completely forgot all about that, definitely a better way of getting them if you have enough badges of honor.
The bladed armour is also stat selectable, which is great for players who don't have their ascended or legendary sets completed
Really enjoying the videos
Finally we are talking about the true endgame of GW2
I have some weird armor sets, but still one of the best full armor sets is the Requiem Armor from LWS4, i think there's two types but the upgraded version is pretty much a pseudo legendary set, and looks incredible!
the bladed armor chest piece is the only one that cannot be bought from itzel merchant. it is a drop from that maps meta.
Loved this video. Have been playing for 10 years and this is the video that motivated me to go finish some of these collections. Which will definitely help with my lacking fashion game
Finally, someone is talking about the important aspects of the game
I can strongly recommend the Nightmare Court armor for Sylvari.
1:49 the _Pit Fighter_ set is available with some additional flame animations as a gem shop armor set too: *Flamewrath Armor*
This is exactly the kind of video I needed! Thanks!
You can also get the Mistward armor set for heavy armor wearers if you have Heart of THorns and have (I think) got a Revenant to Level 80
the EASIEST CAPE you can get, is , buy the Ritualist Ancient set from Trading Post (total costs would be less than 15G only). then got free cape from achievement. looks pretty cool too and you can dyes it.
for me, the best armors are cultural armors, that's wat i use for all my characters, mainly, but also mixin with some others armors pieces
Word of warning for those getting the temple armor in Orr: they do not salvage. If you put pricey runes in them, they are lost without you using an upgrade extractor.
I would have at least mentioned during the cultural armor section that you can get them for a lot cheaper in WvW. That's how i got a lot of mine!
yes that's true, if you play wvw and have enough badges of honor you can save gold buying them that way

Medium warbeast armor and heavy requiem looks great also

actually on 4/18/2024 you can inspect and find out what it is and where to get it. Plus the color they dyed it.
Great video man, new sub!

In this section, sometimes I am often confused because there are too many good armors, so confused to make choices 😅
1:45 DAAAYM DEM HIPS!!!!!
And with the new coming update, we can inspect armor skins so we know what they are :D
You can buy Cultural Armors from WvW at 50% discount plus some Badges of Honor, by the way.
I would love to see a video that doesn't talk about the full armor sets, but instead what are some of the best/easiest armors to COMBINE so they look good together.
I can’t help but wonder what armor Lord Faren wears… any way I’m sure he looks fabulous
pretty sure he just wore a speedo that one time, although I suppose that is a bold fashion choice
@@Evan4K A bold fashion choice- that is now available to players!
GW2 has a such fashion community 😂 (myself included). Look is All !
This is peak content
I'm not sure how but I've ended up with 2 million karma. Not sure what I did tbh. Also warlord armor looks nice on heavy.
Do you have a community discord or anything? I know that can be a decent time sink, but curious cause I've seen your videos a bunch now. Just subscribed finally!

I recall the first music from Naruto 😄
Okay but like what armor is that on your warrior at 9:21? Looks nuts.
Mantle and Chest are Armor of the Lich
Pants are Flame Legion
Have not found the gloves nor boots, sorry :/
@UnrealNine I appreciate it hopefully I can figure out what the gloves and boots are. Thanks.

My best guess would be,
Head- Canthan sun hat
Shoulders- Ancient Canthan spaulders
Chest- Jade tech cuirass
Gloves- Foefire wraps
Legs- Jade tech heavy legs
Boots- Foefire greaves
Back- White feather wings
