- Ali Gul Pir is a Pakistani rapper, television and voice actor and stand-up comedian. He achieved popularity with his first single, "Waderai Ka Beta", a comedy song about political elites in Pakistan at the helm of affairs and the culture surrounding it.
Ali Gul PIr comes on The Pakistan Experience to discuss Sindhi culture, perception of Sindhis, his life philosophy, Family, Love and Cousin Marriages.

The podcast is hosted by comedian and writer, Shehzad Ghias Shaikh. Shehzad is a Fulbright scholar with a Masters in Theatre from Brooklyn College. He is also one of the foremost Stand-up comedians in Pakistan and frequently writes for numerous publications.

Shehzad buddy!!! You are just awesome. I am from Ahmedabad ,Gujarat. We have many Sindhi Hindus migrated from Pakistan , so I have fairly good idea about culture.
As an Indian sindhi living in Ulhasnagar, it's great to watch your podcast on sindhis. I've always been interested in pakistani sindhis and what are differences and similarities. I visited Kartarpur corridor as well, but couldn't find any sindhis there from Pakistan. Hope to meet a pakistani sindhi one day and also visit my grandparents place in Garhi Yasin, sindh.
Also a fun fact - here during matrimonials, between sindhi families, we ask where the family is from originally from pakistan, it's a culture here, like we would say we are from Garhi, some would say ratodero, some would say shikarpur etc etc.

It was nice listening to sindhis talking about their culture.people out of sindh ,like me whos a lahori, almost never come in contact wth sindhis so we generally see them as waderas,zardaris,bhuttos,nizam jhokios etc.quite a prejudiced view it is.
Would definitely listen to similar episodes about hazaras,balochs,biharis,parsis etc.
Really to happy to hear this language, it quite matches with our kutchi language. Kutch and sindh is considered to be brothers. My family had their shop in Karachi in Sadar bazar. I hope i can visit it once

I watched this episode purely because of Ali gul and I didn't know the host at all, but from the moment I played the video I instantly started searching Ghiyas shaikh. Simply superb. You guys remind me of Jerry and George from The sinfield show.
