That was about 45 minutes too short! lol! How you can tell most of them apart always just amazes me! Seems they remember the food but are a bit shy at first in the Spring? All the best to you and the Dear Family! Safe and lucky Summer for all the births!

Thanks for another video! I have walked with my Southeast neighboring herd, which my doe Zoe is a neighbor of, we have mingled in Zoe's territory as they visited winter/spring..we have 3 primary herds in my area, Zoe is right in the middle, "owns" the south side of town..as nursery & training area. Walking w/my "family" gives them more "hierarchical credit" being able to walk with them.. as they forage is so educational, & I'm glad for a local park in the Southeast section and closed golf course far western section her territory, plenty of space& trails..🥰🦌🦌🦌🦌

I have a tame wild doe and she has her 2024 twins. She was the only one out of the tribe that allowed me to tame her. It was her disposition. She is amazing and so polite and just wonderful. I brush her and get some ticks off of her. Ticks are there worst torture, coyotes be damned.

I had one doe that was 10 years old come back across town to visit me, she must have smelled my scent on my current deer family & remembered me.. her territory is on the outskirts of town, 2miles away..she has a "touch of gray, & is still a big hole's girl, she used to be the matriarch in my current deer's territory, added greats to the grandmother over the years then moved on..never know if I'll see her again, they are precious..

Lol👍We're all in the "deer-club"😁

I share your sentiments and also am befriended by the local deer. I don’t get to enjoy the turkeys or raccoons. But I have 2 dogs and a cat that share the best of times with me.

There's some possible names that come to mind. Maybe you will like some of them (Misty, Sunshine, Tabitha, Happy, Tinkerbell, Axel, Lily, Jayden, Mindy, Gwen, Pepper, Sormy and Pirate) These are names of some of my dogs and cats. The first five are still with us now. The others have passed over the rainbow bridge.

PS Yes dear are aggressive sometimes particularly over food treats. Just because you think you're taming one of them doesn't mean they will not pull a fast one on you,, mainly because they get perturbed you're not giving them enough Apple pieces fast enough. And they have a pecking order when the feed is out. They strike at each other to be able to gobble up their little handful of feed. Do not overfeed wild deer. Their guts are designed to digest roughage,, not corn. Feed only a little bit of corn.,, so they do not get sick. Sorry for rambling. 🙂
All very true. I did lots of research before starting this. And....I had one big doe decide to get sassy with me one day and hoof swipe me when I wasn't getting her corn down fast enough. I slapped her nose a bit. Last time she tried that, and was always kind after that.
Hey there Fly!! Yes I’ve been MIA but I have a good reason!! First off, the deer look great and Maggie is just adorable!! Roman is so beautiful and maybe he will return sooner. I see Birdie still hasn’t come back around, maybe she’s with another herd and doing well, at least that’s what I keep telling myself. Casper looks like she is doing well!! I know she’s happy to get back outside but I’m sure she will want to be inside sometimes as well. Yes, they do train us well and I noticed that she was belly up and letting you rub her tummy!! This sir is a major trust sign! She trust you so much and sometimes that’s not easy to do with a cat. Britt’s babies are getting big and honestly, trash pandas are just too adorable!! Oh my the Daryl’s have returned 😆 I think Larry has gotten bigger, could be the camera angel but he does look bigger this year!! The weather here in E. TN. Is the same way. Everything is green now and we are about to enter into summer but who know what Mother Nature will do, she is hitting the Gin again 😆😆 As for me being MIA. Well back in April I got sick. Thought it was just Bronchitis again due to the massive pollen dump we had here that aggravated my Asthma. Well, after 4 days of being in bed, not eating hardly anything and what did go in came right back out, I went to the doctor. I tested positive for COVID (Sunday 4/18) The next day (Monday 4/19) I was to go have the same treatment Trump had when he got it. I showed up only to discover that my blood oxygen was too low to do the treatment and the Dr. sent me next door to the ER. I was there all day and was admitted to the hospital that evening. Tuesday rolled around, met all my Dr’s and then found out I had the original strain that went around the world, Covid Pneumonia. It wasn’t looking really good for me and although I did agree to the ventilator, I was not put on one!! I did get the Plasma treatment with the antibodies and 24 hours later, I began to feel better. On Saturday 4/24 I was released from the hospital with a plethora of medications to fill and I’m on oxygen too but I was finally going home. It’s been a month now and I still have a long road of recovery ahead of me. I’m hoping by the end of the month I’ll be off the oxygen and my blood oxygen levels will be stable. For the most part I’m doing well, I tire out easy and can only do stuff in small increments until my strength comes back. I wish her doctor had her get the monoclonal antibodies but God knows what He is doing. She needed the hospital for four days. Have you been spared nightmares, I hope so. Thank you again, Laural
@@inspiredclips8245 - I hope she gets better soon too! I was to have that treatment but because my oxygen was so low it wouldn’t have done any good. That’s why I was hospitalized and has mounds of antibiotics and the antibodies Plasma treatment. No, I’ve not had the nightmares but I do know that Covid does mess with the mind. I do have headaches and sometime trouble saying words correctly and lord knows that I’ll go to do something and completely forget what it was or wonder why I’m doing what I’m doing. I saw my Dr. today and the good news is I’m progressing quite well. Bad news is I’m on oxygen for another 4 weeks but that’s ok. I did get to see the CAT Scan of my lungs today that they did when I was admitted to the hospital. Let’s just say that I’m very lucky to be here! Having Asthma pretty much made things a whole lot worse but I was luck and got a great Pulmonologist. I’m starting on the uphill battle of recovery and it’s going to be (as my Dr. put it) a marathon and not a sprint! I’m looking at another 3-4 months before I can return to work unless my strength comes back sooner. I’ll keep your sister in my thoughts and prayers. If she was in the hospital with COVID, I would imagine they gave her the Plasma treatment and if so, it’s just going to take time and patience.
@@SpellCaster17 Thank you, I'll pray for you now. Your XRay must have looked like the ones Dr. Mike Hansen on YT shows. He is a respirator doctor and worked with hospitalised COVID patients. My sisters doc told her to go to ER day 11, so she didn't get those, but the stomach acid med/anti-nausea med, Decadron steroid 1st day in hosp, Remdesivere(?sp) 2nd day, and O2, turned her around from the daily decline she experienced. She didn't know, until I asked the medical staff on the phone and she heard the response, that she had covid pneumonia when she arrived to ER. It's good for me to talk about it...deep sigh, thank you!

I've only had to pop Maggie in the nose once. She got impatient when I was handing her apple slices and swiped my arm and hand, so I swatted her nose. She jumped back, walked right back up, and got the rest of her apple slices. She has never tried to swipe me since. LOL
Listen, I fail to understand why we have to wait two months for new episodes - it is excruciating! You need to step it up - every two months is simply not good enough...! :-) Thanks for a wonderful show...

LOL it takes a couple months to shoot decent videos (since the animals don't act on cue, and sometimes just walk away), then about 3-5 days to get things organized and put together. I only give them each about a handful. If they eat out of the container, I take it away after a couple minutes so they don't get too much. Yes, it is dangerous for deer that haven't had corn in their diet to eat a large amount.

I share your sentiments and also am befriended by the local deer. I don’t get to enjoy the turkeys or raccoons. But I have 2 dogs and a cat that share the best of times with me.

There's some possible names that come to mind. Maybe you will like some of them (Misty, Sunshine, Tabitha, Happy, Tinkerbell, Axel, Lily, Jayden, Mindy, Gwen, Pepper, Sormy and Pirate) These are names of some of my dogs and cats. The first five are still with us now. The others have passed over the rainbow bridge.

PS Yes dear are aggressive sometimes particularly over food treats. Just because you think you're taming one of them doesn't mean they will not pull a fast one on you,, mainly because they get perturbed you're not giving them enough Apple pieces fast enough. And they have a pecking order when the feed is out. They strike at each other to be able to gobble up their little handful of feed. Do not overfeed wild deer. Their guts are designed to digest roughage,, not corn. Feed only a little bit of corn.,, so they do not get sick. Sorry for rambling. 🙂
All very true. I did lots of research before starting this. And....I had one big doe decide to get sassy with me one day and hoof swipe me when I wasn't getting her corn down fast enough. I slapped her nose a bit. Last time she tried that, and was always kind after that.

Yes I’ve been MIA but I have a good reason!!
First off, the deer look great and Maggie is just adorable!! Roman is so beautiful and maybe he will return sooner. I see Birdie still hasn’t come back around, maybe she’s with another herd and doing well, at least that’s what I keep telling myself.
Casper looks like she is doing well!! I know she’s happy to get back outside but I’m sure she will want to be inside sometimes as well. Yes, they do train us well and I noticed that she was belly up and letting you rub her tummy!! This sir is a major trust sign! She trust you so much and sometimes that’s not easy to do with a cat.
Britt’s babies are getting big and honestly, trash pandas are just too adorable!!
Oh my the Daryl’s have returned 😆 I think Larry has gotten bigger, could be the camera angel but he does look bigger this year!!
The weather here in E. TN. Is the same way. Everything is green now and we are about to enter into summer but who know what Mother Nature will do, she is hitting the Gin again 😆😆
As for me being MIA. Well back in April I got sick. Thought it was just Bronchitis again due to the massive pollen dump we had here that aggravated my Asthma. Well, after 4 days of being in bed, not eating hardly anything and what did go in came right back out, I went to the doctor.
I tested positive for COVID (Sunday 4/18)
The next day (Monday 4/19) I was to go have the same treatment Trump had when he got it. I showed up only to discover that my blood oxygen was too low to do the treatment and the Dr. sent me next door to the ER. I was there all day and was admitted to the hospital that evening.
Tuesday rolled around, met all my Dr’s and then found out I had the original strain that went around the world, Covid Pneumonia.
It wasn’t looking really good for me and although I did agree to the ventilator, I was not put on one!!
I did get the Plasma treatment with the antibodies and 24 hours later, I began to feel better.
On Saturday 4/24 I was released from the hospital with a plethora of medications to fill and I’m on oxygen too but I was finally going home.
It’s been a month now and I still have a long road of recovery ahead of me. I’m hoping by the end of the month I’ll be off the oxygen and my blood oxygen levels will be stable.
For the most part I’m doing well, I tire out easy and can only do stuff in small increments until my strength comes back.

Thank you for writing this, I'm very glad you are on the upswing. My Sister finally feeling better just this past Sunday. I wish her doctor had her get the monoclonal antibodies but God knows what He is doing. She needed the hospital for four days. Have you been spared nightmares, I hope so. Thank you again, Laural
@@inspiredclips8245 - I hope she gets better soon too! I was to have that treatment but because my oxygen was so low it wouldn’t have done any good. That’s why I was hospitalized and has mounds of antibiotics and the antibodies Plasma treatment.
No, I’ve not had the nightmares but I do know that Covid does mess with the mind. I do have headaches and sometime trouble saying words correctly and lord knows that I’ll go to do something and completely forget what it was or wonder why I’m doing what I’m doing.
I saw my Dr. today and the good news is I’m progressing quite well. Bad news is I’m on oxygen for another 4 weeks but that’s ok.
I did get to see the CAT Scan of my lungs today that they did when I was admitted to the hospital. Let’s just say that I’m very lucky to be here! Having Asthma pretty much made things a whole lot worse but I was luck and got a great Pulmonologist.
I’m starting on the uphill battle of recovery and it’s going to be (as my Dr. put it) a marathon and not a sprint!
I’m looking at another 3-4 months before I can return to work unless my strength comes back sooner.
I’ll keep your sister in my thoughts and prayers. If she was in the hospital with COVID, I would imagine they gave her the Plasma treatment and if so, it’s just going to take time and patience.

@@SpellCaster17 Thank you, I'll pray for you now. Your XRay must have looked like the ones Dr. Mike Hansen on YT shows. He is a respirator doctor and worked with hospitalised COVID patients. My sisters doc told her to go to ER day 11, so she didn't get those, but the stomach acid med/anti-nausea med, Decadron steroid 1st day in hosp, Remdesivere(?sp) 2nd day, and O2, turned her around from the daily decline she experienced. She didn't know, until I asked the medical staff on the phone and she heard the response, that she had covid pneumonia when she arrived to ER. It's good for me to talk about it...deep sigh, thank you!

I've only had to pop Maggie in the nose once. She got impatient when I was handing her apple slices and swiped my arm and hand, so I swatted her nose. She jumped back, walked right back up, and got the rest of her apple slices. She has never tried to swipe me since. LOL

I feed wild deer too, but that's way too much corn. Read about it
I only give them each about a handful. If they eat out of the container, I take it away after a couple minutes so they don't get too much. Yes, it is dangerous for deer that haven't had corn in their diet to eat a large amount.
