Most humans underestimate animal intelligence and the fact that they have emotions, I don’t…….
Pets and wildlife alike have no ulterior motives, what you see is what you get. Unconditional love and unadulterated pure emotions. It truly is beautiful and amazing to witness!
@@glazewall Indeed. It applies to all animals. It's only a shame that most people don't realize and don't care that cows, pigs, chickens, fish they needlessly kill for food in trillions every year also possess the same traits. Dogs are just lovely friends honestly. They are too pure for this world. Possibly one of the most unconditionally loving creatures in this world
Man and dog basically found each other . . . well, wolves first . . . but the smaller, gentler wolves who needed some extra food and the cavemen who needed some buddies . . . its been love ever since
This dog clearly wants to get licked by the deer though. Wants attention from the human as well. Kind of acting jealous when they are both getting petted. Not really unconditional love 😂😅😊
@@adamwsaxe Cats domesticated themselves, we domesticated wolfs to get what we call dog pets these days. I'd argue we forced the relationship with dogs while our bond with cats has always been more natural. Cat's are smaller though, more independent and don't need to be walked. Who was the last person you knew who walked with *wild deer on a daily basis, just as associates grateful for shared peace&respect?
I sometimes don't believe how became so lucky to do so. It feels painfully exclusive.
I discovered what I wasn't taught, and what was inaccurate, allowing a new paradigm to guide me other than human constructs and knowledge available.
In the last 5 years of 20 walking with wild deer I have learned the most .. upending most of my human teachings to a new understanding..we learn how much we don't know when the truth unfolds before us unfiltered by humanity..
I have found the enlightenment a blessing, yet painful that I can only persuade people to allow themselves opportunity..we all have to see & learn beyond ourselves and beyond each other..
I have been blessed with this level of relaxed interaction with MANY wild animals.. but remember this was a human raised deer, who had a head start by bonding with humans and pets as normal associates.. you are just getting to see "normal interactions" but with different assigned species!😁
Phil May, the application of the behavior upon other species IS special, similar to a surrogate relationship, but the behavior itself is normal.. deer are extremely "bondy"

More props to the caring human who allowed this beautiful relationship to bloom over the years.
We once owned a second home with 96 acres in an extremely rural area of our state. Our closest neighbors lived over 4 miles away. They relayed to us a story of how they befriended a deer, gained her confidence, and allowed her access to their shed. She spent every night there. Then, she suddenly disappeared and they feared the worst...that they had made her too accustomed to people, and vulnerable to being shot for that reason. But, months later, she returned, with a baby. She would actually stay in the shed during hunting season. (I guess the noise of gunfire frightened her). When we sold the house, we lost contact with them, so I wonder how all of this love played out. I am sure that they have both passed away, as they were both senior citizens at the time, and this was decades ago.
I grew up in rural E. WA. (nearest town 14 mi. away). The area is primarily cattle pasture, scrub & dryland wheat farms and was a favorite area for pheasant hunting. We lived on railroad property. My mother took a shine to the pheasants so, come hunting season, Mom looked up what pheasants like to eat, and bought food for her friends. So, instead of feeding next to the creek they were on railroad property getting fat & happy on the food and water my mother set out. Not only is trespassing on railroad property a crime, it is illegal to use firearms there. She'd slowly stop feeding them the week after hunting season and after 2 years they would come back.
Beautiful story.
So beautiful 😍🦌 hopefully 🙏🏽 they ALL lived long healthy lives. ❌⭕️
I understand the fear that the animals are endangered by becoming trusting of people. But my own observations suggest that they have a good sense of when/with whom to hide from or run away. There is no doubt, they can recognize familiar faces, so that is also a factor.

This is very exceptional and special. Even the cat joins them every now and then!! 💞
Love the kitty, so adorable xx
Hello Marie…….👋
It’s clear that the doe really trusts G-Bro. Usually, deer see dogs as predators. There’s definitely love between them. Of course, G-Bro is a golden retriever. It’s practically in their DNA to love. This is so heartwarming. ♥️
Deer: “So what do you like to do for fun?”
Dog: “ Mostly licking.”
Deer: “No way, me too. We should hang out”

I'm a bit worried that my heart might burst because it is so filled with joy and happiness right now. Animals have always been the loves of my life. This video is the absolute proof of the almost magical relationships between different species and the love and caring they have for one another. I want to thank the lovely humans for being the kind of people ( my kind of people♡) they are that really made this wonderful and delightful video happen. It's almost like a fairy tale, but even better because it's not! It's all true!♡

Can anyone tell me animals do not have emotion, compassion, empathy, a conscience and intelligence? Interspecies bonding and relationships are totally amazing and awesome!
Snakes and several other animals provenly don't, lol.
Pretty much all animals respond to love, they want to love and be loved.
I'm not sure about reptiles and fish.

We could learn so much from animals. This brought tears into my eyes
We are too stupid to learn from animals.
We really can learn. You’re right.
@@stevenmeyer9674 which we? you and your mates? anyone? humanity in general. what a dissatisfying remark.
We could learn alot from animals, but sometimes, human beings are just too arrogant, egotistical, selfish, self absorbed, and so full of themselves that they don't have room for anything else and they are blind sighted by all those characteristics.
@@aperinich I'm inclined to agree. It's a statement devoid of any real, profound meaning. just nihilism.
It is incredible how animals express more love than some people
If you're gonna say "some people", then you need to say "some animals"

Hahaha i was waiting for the hunter/neighbour to walk along and shoot the deer and start cutting joints off it's carcass on her lawn!
@@bluenose7984 it would be best if she kept that collar on it for this reason. Any hunter would think twice if they saw a collar on a deer. I don't know off any that could do it, most only get a deer out of necessity.
I think I said “awww that’s so beautiful” about a 1,000 times in this video lol. Its so incredible to see how much they love and trust each other, what a priceless friendship!
lmao
I like that the deer can think like the dog and paw at the door.
Can't stop smiling. This makes me so happy. The baby deer faces. Seeing the momma deer jumping and playing in the snow with the dog! The cat getting in on the love fest too! I wish I could roll around with them all. This is so wonderful. Paradise! Thank you for sharing this joyful experience. LOVE is the answer ❤❤❤
I feel the same way you feel about this beautiful story. I just can't help but to wonder if the momma deer feels badly because her and her babies can not live in a house like her best friend. I do not know if that is an issue for her.
I can't stop wondering how a dog does it with a deer. It just seems unnatural.
@@justmeandthethree it’s hard to generalize with dogs since there’s so many different breeds but perhaps some dogs temperament are better suited for deer companionship based off their breed

They have a more loving relationship than half the people on this planet.
Let's hear a heart felt AMEN on that sentiment!!!!
Well, because unlike people, they don't have any secret agenda that they are trying to pull on one another.
Well clearly those 2 plus the cat will not be starting Wars.
Before we go condeming the human race, just remember, this event would not be possible without the loving human touch in numerous ways.
I'm surprised nobody has yet pulled the "still a better love story than Twilight" meme on this video.

nihilism..such a burden
@@sv3931Nihilism? Nihilism is certainly a burden to bear, but is INSPIRATION a burden?
You are so correct. I was just sharing with my husband that I am done with life on this planet. Folks are so unhappy, cruel and vicious. This made some warmth come in to my heart.
Before you go condemning the human race, keep in mind that the only reason you find this touching in the first place is because you are human. If you were an aardvark, you probably wouldn’t give a damn.
@@JamesBlacklock you're making the mistake of taking that part of my comment literally , but thank you for your somewhat misguided and redundant point my fellow human and I will be sure to not mail it in and give up on YOU

Also I love that the dog’s name is G-Bro lol
That is such a trash name for such a distinguished gentleman

What a wonderful thing she did, raising this deer and respecting nature enough to allow her to be wild.
The yearly visits are just incredible! It's like they have a long distance, inter-species marriage!
Will be interesting to see if the babies visit when they are grown and on their own.

Hello!
It’s kinda cool that they put a collar on Buttons the deer in the winter during hunting season.
So sad how some people hunt these beautiful animals. Disgusting
@@Misticaraissa I’d have to say the only disgusting practice of hunting is when the actual meat of the deer is wasted, as in it’s just for trophy hunting, though from what I know most people actually have a lot of respect for the animals they hunt, make the process as quick and painless as possible, and don’t waste any part of the animal. It’s only a select, loud few who have poor hunting practices
@@Misticaraissa exactly and what for?? we have meat (every damn kind) available within our reach, what's the point of hunting them?? just for fancies? to feel like a "MAN"?.. jeezzz..
@@bts_txt27jenn63 to be fair, in a lot of cases hunting for food, not sport, is probably better for the environment as people aren’t contributing to pretty unsustainable practices, just taking what they need and nothing more

What a wonderful family. All of them; From Buttons and G-Bro through to the babies and the human parents. THIS is what life is supposed to be.
Well said.
I live a a somewhat rural community area with 2 1/2+ arcres .. my backyard is a mix of lawn and large natural habitat .. wild bunnies, racoons, turtles, skunks and a large population of deer that I started putting out feeding blocks and mineral licks for .. amazing to sit on my deck with my morning coffee and my dog and watch all the 4 legged fur babies that find refuge in my yard.
Thankfully hunting is illegal inside my community area.
I think the other most amazing thing is that Buttons is also chilling with the cat! haha
Farm cats are different than other types of cats lol
Yes Rose I’m glad you caught that licking of the kitty cat by the deer! What’s even more amazing is that kitty is the ex-wife of the dog
RoseOfhhizaki that'a just so cute xx
This is super adorable and wholesome. I've never seen a deer and dog act like that before.
This the most beautiful thing ❤ Turning up at the door like little kids when they go to visit their neighbourhood friend.
I think we as humans don’t do anywhere near as good as animals when it comes to love, loyalty & acceptance. They are not rational thinking beings, yet they love so beautifully and authentically.
Literally why I prefer animals to humans any day of the week!
