Glad to see some folks putting an end to the Bregman rumors. It makes no sense for the Mets to give Bregman an 8 year 200m deal when their issue with Pete is years. Pete's the absolute best option for a ring; odds are still that they push for a 3-5 year deal at way higher AAV?
I think that Bregman will sign with the Mets and Alonso will take a discount to come back for at least 5 years knowing he will become our DH eventually
@@Jay4Real2then that’s a loser way. He’s not making his decision until January 15th. By then the remaining pitchers could be gone. They are playing a dangerous game if they are doing this
I don’t think Sterns has a plan & he just wants to tryna win with a moderate payroll. I get not spending money like a drunken sailor but how about spending some money, just a little bit to improve the team & on someone not named Juan Soto.
I want to see action, it look that the Mets don’t have more money to spend, we need to be more aggressive and stop playing the game of projection, project and experiment
Everyday we come on here and see and hear someone new is coming to the Mets , And as yet nothing. Crossing fingers we get more hitting and pitching. Please bring back the Polar Bear.
If the Mets got good young pictures in the farm system let's use them you even got good hitters in the farm system Drew Gilbert Ryan Clifford use these young men they could become Stars too
Sounds like the Mets are not going to be doing much the rest of this off season & the great Juan Soto will be about the extent of the Mets activity this winter. As much as that is what I would have signed for on November 1st I never thought it was possible that a Cohen owned team would bring in Soto & basically do nothing else to improve this teams roster. Why do the Mets operate like this where the money has to come down with everyone & the years have to come down & the market for that player has to diminish for the Mets to get serious about a specific player. Are they really going to waste year one of Soto & Lindor & not give them much help in a sport where 2 premier players alone can’t play 500 ball much less win a World Series. I don’t understand what Sterns is doing in how every pitcher he signs is a project & they will never win big like that. You need an ace at the top, not two or 3 but 1 & we don’t have any. Sterns operates like he can fix everyone & that will just not happen. Someone please name one player that DS has brought in since taking the Mets job that is a major staple in this teams plan going forward here in year 2 of the Sterns era. I need to see something, just one thing significant from Sterns for me to feel comfortable with him at the helm. I guarantee the Mets will not make the NLCS in 2025 because Sterns did not do enough. They say they are going to give Sasaki there best shot but it’s really not in there control but what is in there control is Burns & they have zero interest in him. What about Buhler, he was money in the World Series pitching his best ball in the biggest moment in Yankee Stadium. That takes serious balls & Buhler did it to perfection. Cohen talks about improving the team but since Soto & before Soto the Mets have done next to nothing significant. I am shocked that they have been so quiet & even there rumors don’t appear to have any juice to them. We hear the Mets are reportedly interested in a player but nothing is ever new or seems close to happening. I understand Sterns is patient but there is a difference between being selective & never ever doing anything note worthy. The next Mets move will undoubtedly be another triple A acquisition that nobody is interested in even hearing about. Burns makes the Mets a better bet to make post season so sign him. How come we never make trades for anyone of significance. Sterns is here 2 years & his biggest move to date was signing JD Martinez & for all we know that was Cohen just losing patience with Sterns Patience. Just signing Soto is not going to get us where we need to go in fact are the Mets even a better team now then they were back in October, I’m not so sure & that’s crazy since Cohen got us Juan Soto. Sterns is a great GM for a small market team but I think being the shot caller for the richest owner in baseball is not the job for what makes Sterns the valuable asset that he can be had he worked for say the Brewers the Pirates or the Tampa Bay Rays. I’ve lost all patience with Sterns & I think the fans are going to be where i stand on him very soon as the inactivity continues with each passing day. Great job Wardy as always with this video & I look forward to your next update. Sorry for such a long comment!!

bregman is wayyyy better then one dimensional alonso
bregman is so much better then alonso lol gold glove player capable of 30 plus homeruns and great defense, alonso is not better
Happy Holidays

🙏🏼
No to Alonso as his contract still look awful but just year 2 of the deal.
I rly hope if they get breggman they don’t pass on Pete let Pete breggman and Vientos cycle through dh and trade Marte or Baty for a pitcher
I completely agree. Perfect statement.
Not realistic
Bergman n Pete not happening bruh
@@donronnie63bregman is going to be a met
@mikedelape6609 wishful thinking; rather resign Pete and get some arms; and what happened to tanner signing with us.. ughhh the rumors smh
I think Mets are waiting to pull trigger on a pitcher once sasaki makes a decision
I agree , They are playing the long ball game

Roki will be so inexpensive for his elite talent. This would be a huge get for the Metsies.

Yes sign Alonso, manea, Bregman, Winker and get Castillo
they have 90 million to spend

alonso is not returning
Give me contracts of 1415 years not a good idea this is a young man Sports

Give Pete 2yr deal hi aaa with opt out. With Soto he should have a monster year and then can renegotiate
Given Pete’s age, I don’t think he will agree to a 2 year deal. He’s looking for a longer contract

If they pay bregman $200M theyre idiots, plain and simple
bregman is a gold glove player, alonso is trash one dimensional strike out king, give me a break
Alonso left too many men on base and is not a discipline hitter , chases to much !
No he is going to the New York Yankees.
no hes absolutely not
