I love your channel and your videos, I really enjoy watching you and I get the impression that you’re a genuinely good person, but you are definitely anti science. I’ve seen you comment on climate change before, and while your reasons for being unvaccinated are yours they are rooted it an anti science thought process because if you weren’t anti science you’d be vaccinated. It’s actually that simple. We are all victims of covid, every single one of us to some degree but no one did it to us. It just happened, and there was nothing anyone could have done differently. The actions that were taken sucked, but they had to be taken. We lost jobs, businesses, homes because that was still better than losing lives, and many more lives would have been lost if not for those actions. It was hard, but we got through it because the absolute majority of us understood that we needed to suffer a little to avoid suffering a lot. Sorry Marty, I know you said not to post negative comments but this Is social media and when you take a position like this and put it out there you can’t control how people react. I’ll keep watching your hiking trips and I’ll skip this kind of thing in future, you have the right to produce whatever you want but you don’t have the right to tell people not to like it. Hopefully the content stays predominantly about the outdoors and we don’t lose what we love about you and your channel
Hi Marty my name is Guy I listen to you and Clyde lots , I like the Alberta premier Danielle Smith because she stands up , recently I found out that in her campaign words, she had said that she was going to lower taxes, and as far as I know, she has not done that I can’t seem to find out if there’s a reason for not, but it bothers me a lot when politicians make promises and they don’t stick to themcan you find more out about that or is there something I don’t know? I have been listening to you on Clyde’s channel for the last 6 months or so. I decided to check out your channel finally. After listening to you all these months and then seeing this particular video ….you have certainly stood up and I really appreciate all you have said and done 😊
I so badly wanted to go to the convoy but it was impossible for me then. I was sooo proud!! As a vaccinated person I support freedom of choice. I was sooo ashamed of the behaviour of most vaxed people towards those that chose differently. When the emergency act was enacted I KNEW Canada had fallen and I cried. I do not even recognize what this country has become. I woke up fully during that time and truly regret being manipulated by the fear and the rhetoric of the time. I will never forget what happened to everyone during the pandemic. Evil and disgusting.

Unfortunately, most men of science in our age are beholden to the mighty government grant, and social media means men NOT of science (and often blind trust in the parroted ad infinitum narrative) have much louder opinions than those who know the real tenets of science. Thanks for being a man of science AND of integrity.

Props to you for sticking to your convictions. I’m vaccinated and wish I hadn’t done it. I wasn’t forced, but I was heavily encouraged to get vaccinated because I work in public health. I felt like it was a duty to get vaccinated because of my position, but I was wrong. I got vaccinated and boosted, and still came closer to death with Covid than I’ve ever been before. My aunt was vaccinated, and died a slow death from Covid. Your words are true Marty. God bless you.
