3:46 - I really like that you show these plots but try to scale them next time to be equal! Will make the improvements much easier to compare, visually. If you only have image files, you can photoshop the curve out of one and scale it manually to your largest scale by multiplying the vertical height by [curve to scale max Y value]/[largest curve max Y value]

Surprised you went the 660 turbo rather than the 550 due to the displacement. Curious about the top end of the dyno chart, looks like its pulling timing close to redline? Is the car out of fuel? Or is there another limitation causing that drop? Love the videos, and appreciate your guys' work on the platform!
U guys should try a T28 "disco potato" it would stay in that powerband way better and way less mechanical turbo lag...and then tune up the shift cut...

I went to the website turbo kit and there's no mention of ecu tuning. Did you get your gr dyno with the turbo. Ill watch the video maybe you already talked about it. Thanks
@NemtecRacing it's my daily driver so I want reliability nothing crazy maybe downpipe, intercooler and tune. BTW how is that PWR intercooler and where did you get the upgraded charge pipes.
@@kythom7574I’ve hit our oil temp limiter 3 or 4 times now and it set at 285 degrees F…. Plugs look great cylinders look fine. 🤞she stays together for along time lol

The power is sick, but that power band is trash. The engine just doesnt flow well enough to spool that new turbo efficiently. The maxed out stock turbo is probably a faster car overall just because of what it makes below 4.5k. Id be interested to see two cars like that head to head. Cant wait to see yall do some proper head work.

@@copperkeyracing6167not really. Clutch type lsd will run slightly hotter due to more friction compared to an open diff. The cause is prolonged hard driving heating up the coupler / clutch pack. It is always dragging to take out clunkyness and slack in the driveline. The only time you will come across it is long sessions on a fast track. The best solution is an external cooler

Depends on what you want. I think the Corolla can look better just cause it’s alittle more proportional but the Yaris has so many more mods available. The Corolla is still so new

It is the turbo that is causing it to drop it doesn’t pull timing or anything it is super happy going to 7700

You should consider rebuilding the stock turbos. You increase the top end a lot with a hybrid turbo and even increase the good low spool even more.
When we ordered all our parts they weren’t doing hybrids yet.

We did upgrade the head gasket and head studs so no we don’t have issues but stock would

Yeah we tune cars on 91 and 93 all the time. I’d say you gain about %15-25% power with e85

We are up there for sure!! There’s a couple other guys that have turbo kits installed but I think most are 550 turbos rather than our 660
Technically speaking there is a GR Yaris, which has the same engine, at 741 Horsepower…

We run Syvecs ecu for right now. We have been a dealer for them since the beginning. Motec kit will be out late this summer

Do you have a heating problem with the AWD system?
Not really the new LSD differentials the syvecs all-wheel-drive controller and new fluid has seemed to get rid of the issue
It sounded to me like the new rear LSD made the biggest difference since it won't heat up and cause the shared fluid to the center to have a problem.
