Wow, I appreciate your honesty showing the mistakes. Definitely learned a lot about how to fix something. It is a reminder that you can always repaint!
Brilliant tutorial. I love that all the ups and downs were included. It helps beginners to really understand what can happen and how to find solutions and to never give up on a piece. Regards from Cape Town South Africa.
This was a fun video to watch. I love seeing all the finishing details, and I particularly love watching you make over hardware. And oh my gosh, thank you for finally being the one to show how you can use an air bubble under a transfer to help it release. I can't tell you how many times I've watched lives and yelled at the computer screen for someone, anyone, to see the air bubble and use it to their advantage. hahaha Whew! Finally! Boy has that bugged me for the past 3 years. hahaha The piece turned out beautiful!!!
Wow it looks beautiful and thank you for taking us through the whole process not just the end result, I appreciate your honesty and openness to share not just your success but also when the plan does not go as intended..you are an inspiration to me.❤️😊
I’ve watch this video about five times. It’s because I absolutely love it. (I needed inspiration on a piece that had previously been painted. Yuck!) I love the fact that it didn’t turn out the way you wanted it to the first time. Changing your mind sometimes can be the best thing for a piece. In this case it turned out absolutely magnificent! I think I’m going to try these colors and this technique on a large end table with some detail. I might add some Wood I Bend, but most definitely I will be adding gold!
Love your transparency Brandy. 🤗 I’ve learned so much from watching you & one of the most important is having patience in the process. I’m a perfectionist by nature, lol. Your work is excellent 🤩 Thank you for these videos 😇
I appreciate the video, but above all I appreciate the work done. This piece of furniture is just magnificent, you pay homage to the French tradition to perfection. Of a French who remains speechless 🥰❤️
That is gorgeous beyond words! It looks like something you would find in a Palace! You sure did a lot of work but in the end it really paid off! The hardware is perfect too. I am saving this video to look at in the future! Have a great weekend!
This is gorgeous! What I appreciate most though is that you were willing to share the process and how that can alter. As someone who is getting started, it’s easy to look at others and compare- thinking how other pieces are perfect and the process is seamless. Seeing that sometimes even pros need to change it up in the middle of the process makes me appreciate you even more!
Brandy...I cannot thank you enough for sharing the ups & downs in your creative process! This piece turned out so elegant & is a perfect homage to french furniture of the past... Magnificent!!!
AMAZING 💙 these unhappy moments when whatever we had in our mind doesn't match with the results... Gosh, they always make me feel so worthless and down 😔 Thank you for showing to us all that not always all projects are successful from first try. I am sometimes so hard with myself, and get sad 😔 I am so happy that you Found the way in the end and look how amazing it looks now 🤗😍 just perfect ❤️ You are amazing, Brandy and I am so thankful for all the information and knowledge that you're sharing in your videos. I love you ❤️❤️
GORGEOUS piece, well.. all of your work is amazing!!!! I think you should teach a class (6 ft. apart) in person!!! I would drive/fly/walk to that class just so you could show me what i do wrong when i try blending.. just sayin'
I think this is my favorite work of yours so far. What a beautiful and elegant piece. I personally am a little color adverse - I've been sticking in the safe zone of whites, greys, beiges - but this has inspired me to dip my toe (or brush!) into something new and different. It's been fun to see your skills and style evolve - thank you so much for sharing with all of us!
Hello, Brandy! It's so beautiful 😍Thanks for your work. what is the name of the machine you are grinding and where can you buy it, as well as accessories for it?
That serenity was such a beautiful color, was there any way to get this look using silk and waxes or do you suggest using the chalk paint for all the depth/layers of colors?
I don't mind moving in to plan b, or c 😄 but I hate those "oh no" moments when I realize the undoing is going to be a big fat drag. I wonder if that product just attached differently on top of the Gator Hide? Is it always used in a sprayer? Gorgeous end result! Have a great weekend, Brandy! Annie
@@BrushedbyBrandy Can't help myself...lol Your work is addictingly Beautiful. I've never seen your oops. I to have them on EVERY piece. Trial and error. Your work is Amazing, Thank- you for sharing. did you sand it back down and repainted or painted over the Silk?
Where did you get that stool that rolls. Also the 3 wheel rollers you put your furniture on to move it around. Thank you I’ve learned so much from you.
I have a question please. I bought Dixie bell mudd for the first time. Reading the side of the jar. It says to refrigerate after opening. Is that true?. I’ve never heard anyone say to do so. Thank you in advance
I would have just put gold on the raised spots and sanded it down in keeping with French provincial rather than that awful brown. The hardware should be gold or bronze
Thank you for showing us that even you have occasional set backs! You are amazing! Thank you for all that you are teaching us!!!!
Fabulous just fabulous! You’re a true artist. I’m glad you redid the piece after that “mistake.” It looks so much better. Great job!
Wow, I appreciate your honesty showing the mistakes. Definitely learned a lot about how to fix something. It is a reminder that you can always repaint!
It has more than "Wow". Thank you for letting us see the challenges along the way.
I love the shape and the details of this dresser, and you really brought out its best features with the color blends and embellishments.
Its like a good recipe, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I still learned so much from your vid. The piece turned out beautiful.
I LOVED this video, because we got to see start to finish, and all the problems in between. And it turned out FABULOUS!!! Thank you!!!
The finished result is always better with mistakes
Brilliant tutorial. I love that all the ups and downs were included. It helps beginners to really understand what can happen and how to find solutions and to never give up on a piece. Regards from Cape Town South Africa.
Thanks so much for watching! This was a "real life" video for sure!

Thank you! Yes, catch that bubble!!
what an elegant 'gal' you created
This piece ended up looking amazing!!! I loved the lace detail on the sides and the gold looked fabulous with the duck egg blue. Fabulous job!
Thank you, hit a rough patch but made it through
OMG!!! Thank you. It’s good to know that even the pro’s occasionally have problems with a piece.

I have wanted to try that product too and now that I see you having problems I'm glad I didn't go that route. Back to Blending ❤️

lol - you'll be happy you have it when the perfect piece comes along😉
Goodness!! beautiful!!! Im getting ready to paint a couple of pieces!! Could you please advise me and help me along the way??

Annie
There was gator hide underneath it, still no luck
Hi! When you ship/ send pieces home with clients, do you give any "care instructions" with them? Could you share what you say/send? Thanks!
I love the idea of blending colored waxes. Do you go back and buff out the black-brown-white wax blend that you put on?
It's so little wax, but I do buff away excess
Thank You for this.
Thank you for watching!

I have the rollers for the furniture in my amazon shop www.amazon.com/shop/brushedbybrandy?listId=3JANFXFVHUXMP
Love it
Fabulous piece!! Do you have a favorite sprayer?
I use a few different types - this video runs through them and has the names/links ua-cam.com/video/6Evd026MrzI/v-deo.html
Beautiful!u
WOW!
where do you get these french provincial curvy pieces, I cant fine them no metter where I look.
This was quite a find, always looking and sometimes get lucky
I have a question please. I bought Dixie bell mudd for the first time. Reading the side of the jar. It says to refrigerate after opening. Is that true?. I’ve never heard anyone say to do so. Thank you in advance
Yes, in heat, the moisture can get trapped and mildew in the container. Lengthens the life of the container to refrigerate
Thank you for replying
Brandy, question...do you top coat voodoo stain? And with what?
Yes, I would top coat voodoo with satin or gator hide
@@BrushedbyBrandy thank you. I used Gator hide and wow...I love that too coat. Thank you so much. My table turned out really beautiful.
