  • Are you suffering from low back pain with pain on one side? 3 Absolute Best Exercises For Lumbar Facet Joint Syndrome Yoga Flow Pain Relief for pain that radiates down hip, thighs and leg but it is not a Sciatica symptom? Let me discuss and help you this 3 Absolute Best Exercises For Lumbar Facet Joint Syndrome Yoga Flow Pain Relief . Our facet joints are movable links between our spinal vertebrae. The facet joints in our spines contain cartilage that allows them to bend and twist, giving us flexibility and allowing for normal body movements. Between each vertebrae there are two joints - one facing upward and the other facing downward. The facet joints are, in a healthy spine, covered with smooth ligaments and fluids allowing the joints to move smoothly over each other.

    Facet Joint Pain, also known as Facet Joint Syndrome and Facet Arthropathy, occurs when the facet joints are no longer moving smoothly, either as a result of injury or degeneration. The resulting changes in your spine can shift the weight of your body unevenly on the facet joints and cause loss of mobility and irritation. These joints can also send pain signals to your brain by irritating the medial branch sensory nerves, which can also result in the surrounding muscles stiffening and spasming.
    In short, injury and degeneration cause the natural movement of these joints to break down, and the resulting inflammation, nerve irritation, and uneven pressure can cause intense pain and a significant decrease in your quality of life.
    Performing more back extension program like a Mckenzie program will create more derangement on an inflamed facet joints, so in this yoga flow, it will slowly move the capsule safely without creating more damage on your joint, and will help slowly relieve the tension on the muscles surrounding affected facet joint.
    This yoga flow Pain relief is so gentle to relieve pressure off the facet joint, smoothly without irritating the joint capsule to have full recovery from this condition.

    I thought my pain for 2 years was caused by a disc bulge at L5. Now I am starting to think it is facet joint syndrome that is in fact causing my lower back pain. I never had sciatica or pain in my legs. My pain is strictly in my lower back and sometimes hips. I did the McKenzie and McGill rehab program with no relief. In fact, McKenzie made my pain worse! Thank you so much for this video. I will try these exercises out and see if they help with my pain.

      @@7THxSIGN yes of course, I'm 22 years old and last year September 2022 I had a gym injury while squatting, I wasn't lifting that heavy, just 20 kgs but my posture while lifting wasn't correct and I heard a pop in my lower back and I felt a burning sensation, for the first months I ignored the pain and just did exercises from internet to relieve lower back pain and I was doing a lot of extensions exercises but it got worse. In 2023 I had an MRI scan and the results were moderate arthritis in L3-L4 and L4-L5 joints, also a low disc herniation in L5-S1. But for now I haven't found any relief, I'm trying these workouts but still feel lot's of stiffness in my lower back, sometimes pain travels through legs as well, now I'm trying swimming, the stretches shown in video and Core exercises to make my core stronger. I do find a bit of relief when I do these stretches shown in video, facet joint syndrome and arthritis is the main part of my injury where I find pain and discomfort. Hopefully works out and I find some relief. How's your healing and life going?

    • @7THxSIGN

      @@football.frenzyfc thank you for sharing. Our stories are very similar. I also had a squat injury that began all my lower back pain.
      Life is better than before but still not great. Daily pain really takes a toll on you. I’ve tried everything. Nothing seems to work. If I didn’t have a family to provide for I would have killed myself a long time ago. This injury and pain will be with me forever. There is no healing it and getting pain free. I’m 3 years into it. Still no improvement.

      @football.frenzyfc 6 місяців тому +1

      @@7THxSIGN I agree with you, it really sucks but we move on, this is our challenge and we can overcome this, if we are trying our best to find relief and make ourselves stronger every day then we can overcome this injury , just keep moving and trying, do more stretches and make core stronger, also losing weight helps too, I'm 70 kg and I'm trying to lose more and put more muscle on to see if i can get more relief, also I heard from many people with similar conditions that swimming has helped them find a bit of relief from stiffness and pain too. Keep trying bro 💪🏼

    Thanks for this. Right-side buttock area pain for years due to facet syndrome in lumbar vertebrae. It flares occasionally, and today has been really painful - especially when sitting down. These exercises have definitely relieved it. I will be looking to have either injections or radiofrequency ablation to get rid of the pain and give me time to build up muscle strength for this.

      You can continue with bridge but try to focus on activating your glutes rather than fully extending your lumbar spine.
