My parents are Diablo 3 long-term players. If this had multiplayer, I would buy it for them in a heartbeat. It is a terrific join of the arena battler and ARPG genres.

Oooh, I love Inner Peace giving xp while at full hp now. With the T2 increase in legend chance, this makes Justice a lot more appealing as her own option rather than just an add-on to a built for life regen.
So yeah, from my first and second impression, the gods seem a lot more balanced out now. Not that there isn't still some filthy broken stuff on some of them but it's more like all of them have stuff that let's them be broken rather than just one or two skills you take them for now.

I think I'm going to try it while I level up Kront, I've yet to find a good t2 axe for him
Love your videos! I just slammed through 50 difficulty with a similar build; I have 48% master offers with 91% legend offers. It makes the game trivial
And you have that item that allows you to upgrade everything to Master? It's insanely good.
I have experimented a lot and my advise is this:
1. equip Strategically fried rice relic (or any relic that gives you a high amount of rerolls and alterations)
2. immediately roll for Time -> Gem High (if you don't get it: restart, you only lose like 10 seconds)
3. Get Force + Warped Attack to pull in more shards to supercharge Gem High (insane +movement speed and cooldown reduction)
4. pick whatever strikes you like (I recommend Tornadoes, chain lightning and Hurricane)
5. you are a god now, zooming across the battlefield murdering everything and leveling up insanly fast.
This overpowered approach might get boring (there's no challenge even on the hardest mode), but it's great if you want to farm uniques :]
There's a bow that natively casts tornadoes and it goes crazy on it it's own! Thanks for the content!

Agreed with warp strike being the best attack -- I think basic attacks are much more improved, but experience and levels (and upgrades/abilities) is such huge power multiplier across the board. One of the other attacks giving ~10-15% more damage doesn't compete. Thanks for the vid!
I still want to see a buff to other attacks' special effects. Summers is insanely cool for a d2 enjoyer, but the fire is underwhelming.
warped attack, shuriken, war pact, with the whistling arrow build is also really insane.
So many things to like about this update. I think reducing the number of shrines makes it more fun to watch. Joltkng from shrine to shrine before was super effective but it got repetitive.

Marked being a Status meaning that Malady can spread it just makes it so dang good lol; then getting Ravens/Soulstealers for Cursed and hopefully get Mayhem early on too for permanent dmg for the run 😮
I really hope this games gets out to consoles. This game reminds me a lot of Hades with amazing pixelated art and looks!

Watching this run versus how the game begins is pretty crazy, it seems like it might be baiting people into thinking the game is super difficult, skill based and then by the time they get to the end game it's just some insano-blast everything nonsense
It's like most arpgs, you start weak. Then once you get the right gear and talent setup you are a walking natural disaster

Yep, be aware you may feel weaker at the start, but once you get some talent points you will far outclass the power cap we used to have
I found a super rare location in the desert, it gave +4 attack projectiles, +4 Strike projectiles, or +4 cast projectiles, only found it once out of 20ish runs
Ohh the Staff, I think I've seen it twice. which quite a few more runs than that lol
I came to the same conclusion on the skill tree, I'm geared heavily into strike damage and Luck at the moment. 206.7% Strike Damage with +6 Strike Projectiles and an additional 10% or so of Crit chance makes this build pop off.
rays of light attack-> cast is very somewhat existing.
Mort for vampirism is the real free win. Exact same boons, attack speed talent, 0.07s attack speed with gem high and healing 1 per hit on every attack makes you literally unkillable. Not to mention the 13k damage per hit idk how but it just happens.
*I haven't maxxed out the attack speed build, but I believe I can get to 0.05 or less if I got more equipment with attack speed.
Hi Jeff! May be you should kill Dracula 1 time at least for correct shop work? I do not have problem with shop from 1st day of patch
It's fixed now, they dropped an update. It had something to do with how many hours you had previously >.>
"Never use" SIR! Bighead is nuts for avoron, and has no real downside when you factor Inner Peace, it's part of my setup i used for the d100 avoron!

With all the new items i have no idea which tier 1 pieces are completely useless now. I'm afraid to sell and then it turns out certain builds are a mix of tier 1 and tier 2 items, stash getting filled up already lol. Ofcourse armor is easy to compare but all the relics, necks and jewels.. Oh boy. Do you have any strategy to filter stuff?
I'm at the point now where any non unique tier 1 is getting vendored. Unless it has a unique effect that is helping you push Act 2 you're better off getting near gear with higher overall values
@@gamingwithjeff Did they expand the storage in this update? I haven't played since the update and saved basically every unique from act 1; it fills about 4 "pages" of the storage locker and most of them are pretty lackluster.
The oneeee thing that really sucks is the inventory space and the stash space being so limited...
You legit get to the 2nd boss sometimes and ur invenotry is full... and not just of crap items but like mythics...

black snakes is supposed to resolve and reapply cursed, so unless its broken, it could be good.
I tested it earlier and it actually applies curse even if they aren't already cursed so it's actually quite strong

Maybe I'm being a bit greedy here, but I think it would be cool if Pandemonium upgraded anything under Master, one level up, like it already does.
AND upgrades all skills that are already Master, by one level, eg Master Light Rays lvl 3 ---> lvl 4.
I like the idea, but honestly, that should be a different blessing altogether. It would be cool for a fates legendary

I'd have to credit like 20 people between comments and the discord, I have no idea who was first. It's also not an exact copy of any one build, just focused on using a few specific talents
Went for bouncing arrows with +40% attack speed and the full marking route.
that was my first Instinct as well, but the triple strike proc is too good. (assuming it'll get nerfed a bit)

@gamingwithjeff I can't remember what he used to be but it's actually increase in master, expert and 1 other by a bunch....or something along those lines.
I just got Hurricane with Lorien. This is like Tornadoes on steroids, it's awesome.
Edit: Finished the run. Lvl 10 Master Tornadoes did 5x more DPS than Hurricane. At least Hurricane controls the fast elites.

I thought Inner peace and Gem High were out of the game because I never saw them. Now I know both are legendary. lol. I also don't pick justice and time very often since the new patch dropped. Not a big fan since the new patch.
Justice and Time are the two best gods currently and it's not really close imo
Just bring the Big Dumb Head in a run and use it when you get to bosses and just unequip when youre relatively safe
Can't switch items mid run aside from items found during a run
Sickle isn't great on Lorien, however, anything that dares to even think about getting in melee range gets like 10 sickles to the face.
Is 36 max skill points?
go back an play a tier 1 then check shop switch over to tier 2 play and then go to shop worked for me kinda soft reseting the lv of the shop
I'll try it, does it reset for you for each run this way? I finally got a shop reset but now it's stuck with the new shop lol
@@gamingwithjeff I've flipped back and fourth from tier 1 to tier 2 by doing full runs the shop resets around 10 mins or so

I find the game fairly easy. But it needs balancing. Around darkness 70 or so, if you don't have inner peace, it suddenly becomes wild in terms of survival.
They also nerfed gem high earlier today by giving it a ceiling to its stacks so its not really worth taking anymore. Which is a shame because it was just made into a legendary. Sigh
Yeah I agree, Inner Peace shouldn't be so run defining. I think they plan on balancing around D30, which is fine.
Honestly I was expecting the balance to be off. They only have 4 devs and were testing everything internally. With all these chances there's no way they were going to get it right first try. Good news is they've said they plan on the future to have player testing

It depends on which gods you take, but I do think they probably scrapped a couple summons to hit the patch date. It's pretty obvious that there should be an Earth Elemental blessing that just isin't in the game.
Do you get infinite divine shield with this skill if it’s your only cast?
I haven't tried but probably close to it.

Yeah nice....you show us max build. But start with fresh archer is absolute unplayable frustrating.
Starting archer is fine, just don't try pushing higher darkness levels with a fresh character.
Once, JUST ONCE, I want someone to show something without fucking 36 points in the talents. For fuck sake am I really going to farm Necromancer+Gargyoles 14 times to finally start playing the game? This is so fucking annoying.
Honestly you would have to search for early playthroughs of the patch. You can see my early runs in a vod on the channel.
As for getting talent points, your best bet is to farm act 2 d0, you get twice as many points from act 2
i feel bad, i really love the idea of this update, but i now hate the gameplay. it just feels so fundamentally different. its just not my thing any more. i been trying to enjoy it, but its like. i just don't
Feels better to me! More than just Gem High to build and lots of things work!
I think it’s great. Before the game seemed to focus me too much into Merris infinite range gem high for every build and I just didn’t really have any interesting in any other build. Now I want to explore every build after grinding further gem pull reach
@@onyxrain2362 i guess its just the builds i liked dont work the way they used to. like act 2 i did summoner and ALL of the mobs moved to fast for the summons to run up on them and attack. they where just killing me before i could even do anything. idk, just bummed i guess.
Part of that could be because the numbers feel way off currently. I'm expecting some pretty large balance patches over the next few months
Which balance concerns have at the momenr? So far, I feel like they have actually sorted out alot of balance issues from before patch more than anything, that its a game much more about decisions, with alot more to think about, other gods and blessings are actually finally relevant.
