Few modern Operas continue to be performed long after their premiers, Brittens are an exception. Many consider this one of BBs greatest Operas, he certainly demonstrates his brilliance writing for voices and instruments.
Special thanks to the singers for trying to pronounce the words as carefully as possible. But I wish there were subtitles.
