We’re locked down in Melbourne, Australia. Limited to 1 hr 5km radius from home and only allowed out for reasons. So these videos keep us all entertained/distracted/encouraged. Plus, we had our worst ever fires last year - 6-10 times larger and just as intense as what’s happening there. Our firefighters are over, helping. So we can empathise and understand how it feels and how dangerous it is. Take care, get out early, look after yourselves
Thank you both and to Fox for continuing this series. Honesty and transparency during these times is a great value and I think Fox is showing that. Keep it up and thank you again!
Jordi and Jake, you are now part of our lives in such a cool way. You both could read phonebooks and shoot it, and we all would find it entertaining in the moment we are watching it. I love that you are all over the place with the type of content you are creating. Jordi has a cool personality and is always informative, and Jake you are certainly coming into your own as a filmmaker personality. I know I love each episode that is uploaded for us to watch, so please keep it going with whatever ideas you come up with. My thoughts are going out to you both, but also the people who are enduring the crazy fires. Please keep safe!
My thoughts are with everyone in Santa Cruz, especially those that have lost homes, and places they love, to the fire. Hearing about this destruction and loss of forests cuts me to my core. I'm glad this channel is still posting. The inherent resilience of both humans and nature gives us all hope.
Today has been a rough one! My company announced further furloughs today. I know its not as trying as what people in Santa Cruz are going through. God Bless! But these videos most definitely put me in a mind space of mountain biking while I'm not actually on the bike. They help and I'm very appreciative. Thank you!
I agree with the sentiment of the videos provide a few minutes of escape from the real world and I thank you guys for making them. Hope you guys stay safe.
Its when you include us in the bad times aswell as the good times, thats when you connect to your customers in a whole new way. Might even be a worlds first. but the feelings i feel when watching this and knowing that u dont know who the hell i am and im just a customer sais something on what you have accomplish with these series and how it reflects on to the brand. My loyalty to Fox has changed from thinking its the best brand to something i relate myself with. I would go as far as saying that if i tried something that suited me better i would probably still go fox.
I'm in Oakland and know many affected by the fires. Really appreciate that ya'll are still posting! Helps keeps the minds off things... Tough times for sure. My heart goes out to ya'll and everyone affected by the fires...
Much respect to keeping it going gents! With the Fires I'm having to do the same by improvising on normal riding plans & just driving 3 hours north to the coast of Mendocino just to get a ride in without smoke in the lungs! Really tough times forsure, but hopefully it gives us the ability to reach further out then typically we may be comfortable with & that in turn can be a good thing. 👍🏼😎
Thanks for continuing to put out dialed videos. I think everyone is at home and I know personally I want to watch new mtb content so these have been really cool and you guys have been adapting to current situations. Much love !
Thinking of you guys, your friends, your families and your neighbors. I'm glad you are keeping these going, it's nice to feel connected to the struggles of the people we believe in as we also face our own. Keeps the spirit of humanity alive in these times!
Sending out positive vibes from B.C. We know understand what it's like to live with the devastation and stress of fires. Your videos are reaching a lot of people. Stay safe and hopefully things turn around soon.
Of course we like watching the content, best thing on the internet. Hopefully producing them gives you a some amount of normality in a year that seems determined to keep kicking your ass. Cheerfulness in the face of adversity.
Keep safe guy's, its shitty when things you can't control, control you, if that makes sense ? the fires look horrifying, hope it improves for you soon. As for my thoughts on racing this year, bin it !, it won't be the same and who really wants to win in a year with such a small fixture list, forget this year keep everyone safe and come back strong next year. Like i say only my opinion. Loving the back yard chats, and i want that truck !!
Are you suggesting that anybody could control nature? Or the outcomes of Life? Holyshit man?! Do you live in a bubble? We have no control over most things it's a perception and a false one at that. Whether it's organic or manufactured like the current crisis. Nature doesn't give two shifts about anybody 😂
Appreciate you guys still making the content, given the lack of racing and all. Good to also hear an update from those on the ground in California. Hopefully nature can recover once again from these terrible fires 🙏 Seems like racing may be a bit of a stretch this year, but loads of groups and companies have been having either “Bike Jams” or events at race tracks with no official race, so is anything like that happening or possible in US or Europe? You would think an outdoor sport like MTB with spectators only online, could get something together before the winter rolls in? Fingers Crossed 🤞
Hang in there, guys. I went out for a road ride this morning and had to cut it in half because my eyes started getting irritated by our smoke up here. It's definitely bad up here in NorCal but we'll all get through it. Stay safe.
Fair play for keeping going. I'm sure the majority appreciate how difficult that propect must be, given the significant challenges you (and others) are going through. Regarding the EWS, I agree with Jordi's point about the naming but do think Chris and the team are doing what is possible and sensible. Then its up to those to decide if the want to participate. And another great thing about our sport - There's a reasonably small percentage that are as judgmental as you witness in other fields. All the best 👍
Ugh....ugh is all I can say. I can't even imagine what it must be like to be living there with first covid, and now fires. I'm feeling selfish having thoughts on this, knowing that it means the bike I ordered back in January probably won't ship as it was supposed to this week.... I should be saying keep living & stay safe.... so that is what I'm going to say. Keep living and stay safe down there. All the best from the PNW.
I ride. I live in Felton. Grew up in SLV, lots of friends hurting in boulder. I appreciate keeping a sense of norm, keep making these. I’m watching from my evac site. Hope to get to go home to a standing home soon. Thanks for all you do!
Best wishes to all from Bonnie Scotland .I hope everyone in the area is safe and well .My thoughts are with everyone in the area whos lifes have been turned upside down by these fires and a special mention to the Fire service Stay Safe Brothers and sisters .Be Brave but go home to your families
Great vid, I will always keep watching. Do a video of Jordi brushing his teeth and I will watch. When you find the reset button for 2020 let me know and we can ALL smash it together and start over.
Hi, great show. Definitely a bummer to see all the families/ people suffering due to the fires and Viruses, thanks for keeping on keeping on with the filming/shows. So this is my question, Can you share the process of selecting / developing Kashima coating vs the other possible options? Thanks!!
Why does fox continue to use the needle and rubber puck IFP fill set up from literally 20 years ago. Is it to keep home mechanics out of your dampers or is it really the best way to charge an IFP chamber?
@@jordicortes4993 huh. maybe the progression is just different because there is a bigger air chamber in a 203mm fork than a 160mm fork so the progression is the same but with fewer spacers in the enduro fork. Thanks!
Can Jordi compare it's bike ? Transition, Tallboy, Raaw, ... Which one he would pick if he can take only one ? What type of buke he prefers and why ? What he is planning to buy in the future ? Thanks you for your videos ! Stay strong guys !
I just got a new bike with a Fox 36 Grip2, and a DHX2 coil on the rear. I’m bracketing my suspension settings as I ride. I think I have LSC about where I want it. Can you dive into HSC and HSR a bit and talk about implications it too much/little of either HSC or HSR? Never had either of those before.
Will fox release a kit similar to the rockshox megneg for more tunablilty for negative air pressure? Or aftermarket kits that provide more tunablilty for air sprung shocks?
@@jordicortes4993 I know the evol increases the negative air pressure in the shock, I was asking more about being able to adjust it easily. Similar to positive air pressure and being able to change air volume with volume spacers, but in the negative side of the air spring. And increase/fine tune the negative air pressure from factory limits?
First off (edited) much love to you all going through the grinder again and hope everyone is safe in the team over there... With such a huge variety of trails world wide, and excluding our currnet limitations, how much would you tweak your settings Jordi when going somewhere different, like flow loam to rocky technical... Would you tweak to suit or have you got your setup dialed in a way you are just happy with to ride most things? How much of a Minaar puzzler do you have deep down 😂 Second question, if you could only have one "type" of bike, wther it be xc, down country, trail, Enduro, dh... What would you have?! (any brand etc)
Wonder if he struggles to call it a World Series/Champ when talking NFL and Baseball. That said, totally agree but good to see the EWS have tried to address this through event wins. California still one of my favourite places on earth. Stay safe!
