People are way too terrified of Daniels. Not that he’s been bad, but man, people are treating him like Lamar or Josh. He also isn’t the same type of mobile QB. Everyone groups these guys into one category, even when they’re different. Lamar, Josh, Fields are powerful downfield runners. Guys like Mahomes or Caleb are more about finesse in and just outside of the pocket. Daniels is more of a downhill threat than the latter category, but he isn’t a powerful downfield runner like the former category and brings more finesse to his downhill movement. Also the Lions will not do something as ridiculous as a double spy. The Buccs defense has been BAD for 6 weeks and Bowles was not good at all last weekend. Will Daniels get some on the ground? Probably. Not a huge deal though. Way worse to be too scared and just give him free throwing lanes
Some of the discussion here brought up a totally traumatizing memory from last season. It was one or the Bears games and Fields had to escape the pocket out to his left side. i’m not sure if Jack was a spy or if he was just containing Fields, but he was squaring up with Fields who stopped his rush. Jerry Jacobs was covering Moore and left him to also come up to contain Fields, so he just passed the ball to Moore who got a first down. I’m way more scared of stuff like that than quarterbacks getting rushing yards
WFT has been winning games based on the strength of their coaching. They are one of the most well coached teams right now. Their schedule was full of teams with questionable coaching at best. They are also 2-4 against playoff teams heading into the divisional round. If they beat the Lions something went very wrong.
Ford field better be loud af when we're on D

And not just a double spy, only a 3 man rush. Good lord.

Jeremy is still a Stat Padford fan. Gross. I just know he has a Detroit Rams shirt.
